The wifi was good.
The sound was awful. The walls may as well have been none existent. It was located in a terrifying area and the flat itself was dark and dirty. The staff were awfully rude, we were locked out inna scary area at 11pm and there was no number to call. And when I emailed them to ask what had gone wrong I was told it was because the number is not 24hours and he sleeps. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Very central location, clean, comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff (his name is Zultan), but.....
There is no reception or anyone to check you in! You must check your email and tell them what time you arrive, otherwise trouble! No doorbell, nothing, also no credit card only cash! Rooms are very small, barely enough space to walk or put your stuff, single room has the bed on an upper level accessible with movable ladder, falling hazard and very small! No desk, no chair, no bedside table or lamp, old building, run down, and guest house located in the back side with no street view, only overlooking other old run down buildings, no kitchen, just a sink with 2 shelves to prepare food in the hall between rooms, guests can be heard chatting at night there so its disturbing
The location was great.
All the rooms were noisy.
location of the apartment is very central, there are many bars around
The bathroom was a real nightmare...really small, moldy and very dirty (on the bathrug were hair - not from the head)
Staircase and house are in really bad condition(flat is ok). Noise neighbours
Well located. Clean. Ability to make a cup of tea. Good WiFi. Well sound proffed. Ability to have own bathroom and good shower. Good price for reasonable accomodation.
Too hot - had to sleep with window open (waste of energy). Lack of space to store clothes suitably. Complicated door entry system.
Very close to town center Free wifi in the room close to the ruin pubs and very good public transportation
Thin walls and thin doors so can get noisy if your neighbours are... No linen change in a week stay but obtained it when seeing the chambermaids. Access to the building little messy and strange but the room is clean. Very noisy bathroom vent system
Centrally located next to The synagogue and public transport, this accommodation was cheap and cheerful. Basic and clean in a completely charming old crumbly building.
The apartment could have had a chair instead of those shelves and an extra blanket (it got a bit chilly at night)
* perfecy Pesht's location in * Jewish quarter. * A lot of interesting places, antique shops, bars (ruins bar) - exelent!
* absolutly unfriendly sfaff, * call to their "responsibility persone" one hour before arriving at the room AT MUST! * Do not have check-in, * EXTRA penaltis, for exemple: check in ONLY between 3pm and 10pm. If you arrive later than 10pm, we have to charge you a penalty of 10 EUR extra above your bill. Upon departure, you will have to leave your room at least at 11am. If you don’t leave until this time, we have to charge you a penalty of 40 EUR extra.... * dirty rooms and bed :( * not forget about: city tax (€ 2 per person per night) not included !!!
Location is really good. But I think that's all.
Rooms are very basic (we have double room) - just beds, small table and light. They are not very clean. Bath is tiny. For all our stay they have no hairdryer (they said it could be taken from other guests). Also they don't want to discuss customer's situation (we need room just for several hours at evening but they prefer keep it empty). So I would recommend many other places around for the same (or less) price
+ good localisation + atmospheric old building + private bathroom + kettle, refrigerator, iron, hair-dryer, microwave oven and computer available in common area + convenient system of codes unlocking doors + window roller shutter ensuring privacy
- since there is no reception office in the residence, there should be at least a phone number to the reception for guests who forgot to have these information with them - rather for short stays, because rooms are small
Situated in the citycenter. Close to everything. Nice view from the window. friendly staff. The room is clean but very small. Actually it matches the price which is very low.
You should tell about the extra charges in advance (for late arrival).
Other than the bedding, all ok. Tiny space, good for little people.
A bit scary walking in the building , especially at night ( not very late) . But this maybe because I m not a night out person n I'm a female.
perfect location (15 minutes walk to Danube, 15 minutes walk to Opera, 25 minutes walk to Heroes square) a lot of cafes and restaurants around 5 minutes walk from scntral subway station grocery shop in 200 metres wonderful residence in beautiful authentic house very good internet connection perfect place to stay if you want to spend some days in magnificent city of Budapest
The area is very good for tourists. Staff was really friendly and very helpful.
The location, the possibility to make our own breakfast, the price.
The room was too small. You could add shelves or something to put things!
First of all, I liked the multiple reminder emails which I received from the hotel explaining everything in a simple yet very complete manner. Upon arrival the owner reached us in person as arranged and told us all we needed to know in clear English. The room was large enough, the bed was comfy and the bathroom tidy and comfortably large. We did not used the lift for reaching the second floor nor we took advantage of the common area stuff/PC but all was in a clean, working state. The WiFi was working properly. Last but not least, the position is perfect: close to Tesco, Spar, Astoria station and the pubs street - three minutes walk tops. Overall if you plan to only sleep here is a solid choice, as there is no noise despite the location and the room/bathroom, along with its furniture/services is above average. I have been in plenty of hostels but in this one there is more room in everything, even the shower! On top of all, very friendly staff.
Nothing major really - but under the bed there was a lot of dust. Other than some cleaning you get what you pay for, and maybe even more.
We stayed there 4 nights and we received the smallest room. It was almost impossible for two people to be there at one time. Cleanliness is not the best side if this place either.
Big room was provided, good view, silent cortyard.
As rooms are no-smoking, there was cigarets smell at the room
Close to metro
Th building is too old
The using was simply
The wall thickness was thin
Near of the center of town
Very small room
Good wifi. Easy with codes instead of keys.
She took 6€ from us. It's not much but she promised she would come with our change before we left. (they didn't take card and she still didn't have change on her..). We even mailed/txted her about it but no answer.
Central location, clear hostel, with wi-fi, room with own bathroom -> perfect for this price.
