Szent János Hotel    

I liked the large, airy room and its big windows. The coffee facilities had interesting cups and an unusual selection of teas. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was on a very pleasant street.

Our room was right off the lobby, so it was slightly noisy.

The staffs are really very helpful and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. Furnishings inside the room are of good quality with an additional free coffee and tea. I certainly would come back and recommend this hotel to friends.

Hotel is in good area, newly renovated.

First, Wifi works very badly throughout the hotel. We asked to be changed to another room and agreed to pay the difference in between our standard room and a family room (8 euros) the next day. Well, it seems their receptionist did not understand english very well because the next day they asked me to pay 30 euros more. I was not able to convince the manager, an angry woman who was only speaking hungarian. Staff seemed to understand my request but they seemed afraid of her. Also, air conditioning did not work, it was over 26 degrees celsius in the room all night. Just a bad experience! We planned initially to stay at the Novotel but chose this place to spend money with a local business. My advice? Stay at the Novotel in Szeged.

Hotel parking quite expensive.

Simply beautiful, we have been pampered the whole time, beautiful location - 3 minutes from the Arkad mall, and 5 minutes walk from the city center - , beautiful restaurant, beautiful room, parking garage. I will be returning very soon.

Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable room. Good breakfast. Great location for city sights (however, this city has limited offerings). Huge shopping complex but very little street shopping.

1. Looks like no-one was clean room after previos guest - one from two bath-robes in our room was used/not cleaned and there was 1 used toothbrush also 2. Stuff looks like just ordinary peoples w/o any uniform 3. Hotel restaurant was closed at saturday w/o any pre-anounce - so no dining possibility for that evening.

Hotel staff was very polite and helpful. We got a room on lower floor which was kind of appartment with full kitchen. Bedroom was good sized with lot of space to move around. The view from the windows was nice even to the street. Breakfast was good with lot of choice traditional magyar salami and internetional choices as well. Overall a great small hotel for perfect weekend getaway.

Almost everything: price, very friendly staff that speaks English, very comfortable, easy to find and very close to the centre of town. Superb!!!

They have no restaurant of their own.

It`s almost everything described within question no.2...maybe, our privacy...we definately will go back to this hotel.

...It`s a brand new Hotel which requires gathering on experience...that`s actually nothing I didn`t like rather than looking forward to it ;)

We got an amazing two-floor apartment with internal staircase and 5 beds (of which we only needed 2). When Wifi range turned out to be poor we got wired Internet without extra charge. Parking is free in front of the hotel. Breakfast is included and was good.

I got dirty room, never cleaned after previous guests! No towels in my bathroom, somebody's hair in the sink, trash-can filled with garbage, lots of dust all over the room! The robs in the wardrobe were used before and dirty! I spoke at the front desk and they gave me another room which looked quite the same. Garbage in the trash-can, carpet never vacumed, used and dirty robs. I took the other one cause I was sick and tired talking to those people. Why booking.com recomends places like that?! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Realy good location with privat parking. Good size room. The staf was very helpful and very friendly. We stayed only one. Ight because we where passing through. But i can recommed the hotel to anyone.

The room was not vacumed well but the room was clean.

Arriving after a long days motorcycling in the rain we recieved a friendly reception and enjoyed a lovely large clean room with comfortable bed. Good location just a short walk to centre of town and riverside.

No elevator to second and third floor. Will not visit the restaurant a second time and will recommend to others not to go there.

Ein wunderbar großes Wohzimmer, schönes Schlafzimmer, hervorragendes Bad, angenehme Klimaanlage, ruhig, sehr gepflegter Innenhof, gutes indisches Restaurant im Hause, gute Lage zur Stadt und anderen Restaurants.

Die Suite hatte nur sehr winzige Fenster zur Straße, so dass der Ausblick fehlte, aber große helle Dachfenster.

Me encanto el trato del personal hoy en día es tan difícil encontrar gente amable en los Hoteles a costa de que uno paga . Pero este simplemente nos encanto puedo decir que lo que mas me gusto es la hospitalidad y accesibilidad del establesimiento

El olor de las Almohadas pese a que todos los días nos cambiaban la ropa de cama (inpecablemente blancas debo decir) había un olor q no me dejaba dormir.
