Hotel Timon

Det var en god oplevelse. Vi boede på 3. sal i et 4 mands rum uden bad og toilet. Stort, lyst rum med senge, der var OK. Rummet lå op til et stort, lyst fællesrum med køleskab og møbler, og der var pæne og rene fællestoiletter og bade på etagen. En del trafikstøj og MEGET varmt at bo oppe under taget, da der ikke var aircondition. Men der var en elektrisk vifte/ventilator på rummet, hvilket hjalp gevaldigt. Super koncept, hvis man ikke behøver luksus. - Og så var det ikke langt fra lufthavnen. Hotellet ligger på hovedvejen i et kedeligt område. Men for en enkelt nat var det underordnet. Fin morgenmad!

There was always somebody speaking english at the reception (very unusual in Hungary:-)/vždy byl přítomen někdo kdo hovořil anglicky, na Maďarsko nevídaná věc :-).Shared bathoroom on the floor was always clean and not very busy/společná koupelna na patře byla vždy čistá a volná. On the floor is also small fridge and TV/ na patře je také malá lednice a TV. Even though the hotel is on a busy street is was quiet and nice/i přestože je hotel u rušné ulice bylo tam ticho a klid.Just outside is a tram stop which goes to Hatar metro stop in 10 minutes/hned před hotelem je zastávka tramvaje,která jede 10min do stanice metra Hatar.Withing a reach is also market place and shops near Kobany-Kispest metro station/blízko je také tržiště a obchody u stanice metra Kobany-Kispest. Our quadruple room was on the third floor in the attic and in July it made the room a bit saunish but there was a ventilator at our disposal/Náš čtyřlůžkový pokoj byl ve třetím patře v podkroví a v červenci se proměnil trochu v saunu,ale měli jsme na pokoji ventilátor.That is no way a fault of the hotel or staff but next time I would specify not to be on the third floor during hot summer/ v žádném případě to není chyba hotelu nebo personálu, ale příště bych asi nechtěla v létě pokoj ve třetím patře

Hotel staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms are big and clean. I stayed with a dog and everybody acted like she was a guest.

It was a very good location for the airport around 10 minutes away by car and also only 15-20 minutes max by car for city centre. Easy to find. The rooms were clean and comfy although the poster of two semi naked people was not to our taste!!!

One of the reasons we picked this hotel was because of the comments about friendly staff. To be quite honest we felt that the staff could have been friendlier and more helpful. I had mentioned during the booking that we were leaving early in the morning to go to airport could we have some tea-coffee and croissants - no mention was made of this and we got nothing yet we paid B&B Rate.

Nothing was too much trouble everyone was so friendly and most obliging.
