Location was very good, near to the boats and restaurants.

`The receptionist who checked us in was so rude it was unreal! Flies and midgies all over the room. Never again thanks!

I cant really think of something good about this hotel, the hotel is very overrated for what you really get.

-we booked for a room with balcony but at the arrival they gave us a room without balcony telling that ones with balcony were not available - the room was hot as hell (maybe just above the hotel kitchen) and there was no air condiftiong (in august). - no hairdryer in the room , when we asked for it at the reception they told us they couldnt give us a hairdryer cause someone else had it , we asked it again after a few hours ....but no one of the hotel staff knew where the hairdryer disappeared - the room was dirty and on the bed we found several hair , maybe from previous guests. - in the bathroom big humidity stain on the ceiling from which was falling water drops directly into the sink - very poor breakfast

Minimum English speaking staff. The breakfast was poor. Charging $5 for beach chear.

Resonable breakfast.

Expensive for the way the hotel looks, rooms was minimalistic, inside of the hotel is really bad looking, there where spiders in the room and balcony, there was no air-conditioning in the rooms, staff at night was not speaking resonable engish and gave ill advice, no minibar.

We had a nice room with balcony 2 stairs up (no lift). Tha carpet was a little bit old but the rest of the room with bathroom was ok. The personel speaks german better than english but they are kind and try their best. Parking is very good. The location is very good. The hotel has it´s own beach. We liked the food in the restaurant very much. We had lunch here many days during our week here. Breakfast is good. You can rent bicykles. We had a fridge in our room.

We had to rent a mobile air-condition the whole week for 9€ per day. It was very hot when we stayed her (30-36) and the air-conditioner was not effective.

It is fantastic location, next to the beach.

The Hotel Uni is a modern 3 storey block building (no lift) right on the waterside of Lake Balaton, first built in the 1970's communist era as the holiday home for the Technical University of the Budapest. It is still reputedly owned by the University, but has been leased to a number operators since then - most recently to some scientologists, apparently. The rooms and bathrooms are adequate, but rather small, and the furniture and fittings are a bit tired, but still perfectly adequate for a holiday hotel. The rooms on the western side all have balconies overlooking the park and the lake, those on the eastern side only have huge windows. There is some refurbishment going on, but even so the rooms are perfectly acceptable for a summer holiday. The greatest asset of the hotel is its location - in a beautiful lakeside park, right on the waterfront, with direct access to the warm and limpid waters of Lake Balaton. The hotel is also within direct walking distance to all the attractions, restaurants and entertainments of Balatonfured, one of the most beautiful and historic lakeside towns on Lake Balaton. There is a good breakfast buffet, and the hotel restaurant serves lunch and dinner as well. There are bicycles for hire, and there is a wonderful lakeside cycle path you can take to Tihany, or in the opposite direction. Overall, a pleasant and very well located holiday hotel - when the boorish sailors are away...

Rooms a bit tired, in need of refurbishment. One word of warning though: there is a large marina and sailing club also located in the hotel, and many of the nouveau rich members of the Hungarian sailing community are not characterized by excessive good manners and refinement in my experience. They can be noisy, unpleasant, aggressive and in large groups they behave as if they owned the place (if not the world!), making it quite unpleasant for other hotel guests.

Sehr nah an der Fußgängerzone gelegen. Ideal für shopping und Abends gemütlich was essen/trinken.

DDR-Flair im Gebäude und auf dem Zimmer. Kein Fahrstuhl trotz 3 Stockwerken. Badestrand nicht nutzbar, da Marina für Boote.

Räume, Lobby, Frühstück, einfach alles renovierungsbedürftig, viel zu hoher Preis für die alten Zimmer und das Angebot.

Kielégítő a felszereltsége és nagyon tiszta volt a szoba, A reggeli nagyon finom, változatos és kiváló!

Az ágy nem matracos, valószínű hogy epeda vagy bonelli rugós és ezért íves, a fekvés kényelmetlen, fárasztó.

Total verschimmelte Badezimmerdecke, sich auflösend Dusche !! WLAN zu schwach, funktioniert offenbar nur in einigen Zimmern !!

Kiváló elhelyezkedés, közvetlen a Balaton parton. Rendezett, szépen nyírt udvar. A régi szocreálból 3 csillag szinten sokat kihoztak.

A reggeli választéka gyenge. Hibás tájékoztatást kaptam a recepción, ahol azt mondták, hogy 8:00-tól van reggeli, miközben 7:30 volt kiírva az étteremre. Habár jó idő volt, de a teraszon nem lehetett reggelizni. A fizetés lassú volt, mert előttem egy német turista Euro-val akart fizetni, amit nem tudtak megoldani, sőt a bankkártyáját sem tudták elfogadni. Így a sorban állók oldották meg a fizetést, saját maguk váltották át az Eurót. A recepción gyengén beszéltek angolul.

Die Lage war sehr schön dort am See,die Umgebung war sehr schön! Die Leute waren nett! Tolle Lage schöne ausflüge kann man machen tolle Bars! Gutes essen ausserhalb!

Absolut schlechte Zimmer (Schimmel in der Dusche,Offenes nicht Isoliertes Stromkabel Zimmer 202, Dusche Kaputt Schiebetür, Fernsehen 8 Kanále und keiner Deutsch, Kühlschrank mindestens 20 jahre alt mit rost und sehr laut so das man keinen richtigen schlaf bekommt, ein haufen zusammen gewürfelter Schránke,Betten,alt! Das Hotel haben sie angeblich renoviert was aber nur im eingangsbereich gelungen ist oder mit absicht so gemacht wurde um den schlechten Blick der einen ab der Zweiten Etage erwartet zu verdecken das die Leute unten einchecken nicht gleich wieder abhauen! So aber wir sind keine Leute die verwöhnt sind aber was dann kam war unter aller Sau! Das Frühstück, alte Tomaten vergammelt, Kaffee wie Wasser, Orangensaft gestreckt mit wasser, alte grüne Wiener unter aller Sau Ich arbeite seit vielen Jahren in der Küche von daher weiss ich wie etwas aussieht und zu schmecken,riechen sollte! Alles andere war schön aber das Hotel unbedingt von eurer Liste streichen,ausser sie überdenken es dort und investieren was ! Aber dort spart man an der falschen stelle so wird das nichts! Sorry!

A személyzet részéről kedves fogadtatást , segítőkészséget és azonnali probléma megoldást tapasztaltunk. A szobában gyönyörű tisztaság és hófehér textíliák vártak. A kilátás pazar, melyet külön köszönünk! Ajánlani fogom másnak is!

Kedves kiszolgálás, előzékeny személyzet. November elején ár/érték arány kitűnő. Tiszta szoba hűtőszekrénnyel.

A rendkívül barátságos személyzet, a hotel elhelyezkedése. Kiválóan megközelíthető, gyakorlatilag a főúton van, és beléptünk a kapun, és már a Balatonpart köszöntött. A szálloda saját partszakasszal rendelkezik, és gyönyörű a kilátás a Tihanyi félszigetre, illetve a Balatonra. Van saját kikötője, fürdőhelye, a gyerekeknek játszótér, homokozó... A szobák kényelmesek, a fürdőszoba elég nagy, a felszerelés megfelel egy háromcsillagos követelménynek. Nagyon kellemes őszi pihenésünk volt. Ha sikerül, visszajövünk máskor is.

La habitación que nos dieron no se ajustaba a las condiciones de la reserva . El hotel está para renovar en su integridad. No tiene ascensor. No tiene aire acondicionado. El mobiliario está desgastado y anticuado. El desayuno escaso y de mala calidad. No lo recomendaría en ningún caso.

Der einzige Vorteil dieses Hotels ist seine Lage.

Die Zimmer, hier besonders Bad, waren nicht sauber. Ebenso der Balkon, wo man sich weder auf die Stühle setzen konnte (voller Laub und Spinnen), noch auf dem Geländer auflehnen konnte. Das Frühstück war sehr eingeschränkt in seiner Auswahl. Käse war mit etwas geschnitten, das am Käse schwarze Schmierspuren hinterließ. Diesen konnte man also nicht essen. Kaffee sehr dünn. Personal relativ genervt.
