Hotel Victoria

Hotellin koko henkilökunta oli erittäin palvelualtista, kielitaitoista ja palvelu miellyttävää ja nopeaa. Aamiainen oli hyvä, ja tilauksesta sai omeletteja, munakokkelia tai muuta lämmintä aamiaista, ilman eri veloitusta. Huoneestamme (7 krs) oli henkeäsalpaavan upea näkymä yli Tonavan, Ketjusillan ja Parlamenttirakennuksen. Erityisesti iltavalaistuksessa olisi voinut vain istua isojen panoramaikkunoiden ääressä katselemassa maisemia.Sijainti oli rauhallinen, mutta vain lyhyen kävelymatkan (tai bussimatkan) päässä kiihkeimmästä keskustasta.Erinomainen valinta, voin suositella lämpimästi.

Ainoa seikka joka aiheutti hiukan päävaivaa oli se, että hotellin pankkikorttikone ei hyväksynyt kumpaakaan luottokorteistani, molemmat olivat liian uusia. Tjsp. Eli lopuksi jouduimme nostamaan rahat ATM-automaatilta ja maksamaan käteisellä. Olen kuitenkin varma, että tämä ongelma on korjattu.

Hotelli oli pieni, joten se oli mukavaa. Upeat näköalat Tonavalle. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä.

Aamiaiselle ei välttämättä päässyt silloin kuin tahtoi, koska aamiaishuone oli pieni ja viikonloppuna lomailijoita oli paljon.

Peerfect position for sightseeing. Goregous views. Friendly , efficeint, pleasant stay. Excellent value. Great breakfast. Highly recommentd.

Comfort of room,beautifully practical and spotless bathroom,friendly and very helpful receptionists,excellent breakfasts.

Just that, for a city hotel, I thought it a little strange that the bar closed at around 10 pm, although this was not a problem.

We had stayed at the Victoria many years ago and were impressed by the staff. They are still one of the major reasons we would return.

It has become a very expensive place to stay, not unlike the rest of Europe.

Excellent and very friendly staff without exception. Brilliant location on the Buda side by the chain bridge and a stone's throw from the Castle. Right on the Danube with spectacular views up and down the river.

Everything. From being met at the entrance, to the very friendly staff.

Perhaps at times the observation of the secure parking.( slow on closing the remote doors)

sight-seeing

I liked very much the view from the 9th floor. The hotel is very close to all the facilities in town. We could reach it all by walking. It was an excelent breakfast. (Much more personal than we are used to.) And it was a fair price i think.

All the works going on outside the hotel. Gave a lot of dust and sand and made it "slippery" to walk.

The staff was very helpful with all of our excursion in and out of Budapest. They were always very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was excellent. Not only did they have a full spread of breads, cheeses, meats, fruits and nuts, cereals, and beverages, but also they would fix you eggs however you like- fried or an omelet with a choice of bacon, cheese, sausage, or mushrooms.

The only suggestion would be some chairs on the balcony would be nice. The view from our balcony was fabulous, but we had no where to sit to enjoy it. The lighting in the bathroom was a little dim, but otherwise the room was fine.
