The whole place
There was nothing not to like
Bed rooms, fantastic views and friendly staff
Cramped dining room for breakfast
Loved that the staff was very helpful from the moment we've arrived, the check in was smooth. Nice breakfast was included. Staff was polite and knowledgeable. Walking distance to the subways shops, restaurants and cafes.
Some street noise but not too intrusive. sometimes some strange odors were coming through the ventilation system, but these were mostly minor things. We'll come back again though
Very comfortable rooms with a view of the Danube. Heating adjustable. Loads of hot water and a bath not just a shower. No noise from the road. Good plentiful breakfast. Fantastic staff. They all spoke english and went out of their way to help. They booked restaurants and trips for us and checked on opening times of museums.
The coffee machine for breakfast. I could not get the sort of coffee I liked. A very small problem.
Small breakfast room
Good location - easy tram and metro connections. View from room was exceptional. Very modern comfortable room and ensuite. Staff helpful and breakfast was a good continental selection.
No tea/coffee making provision in room.
Wonderful location with breathtaking view of Parliament building whilst lying in bed, excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing, but for English visitors it would be better to describe "complementary afternoon tea" as "tea and biscuits"!
Stunning view over the Danube, over to Pest. Below the Walkers, runners and cyclists enjoying the riverside walkway. Easy access to sites on both the Buda and Pest sides. Delicately furnished & very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast, with hot dishes to order. Though small the breakfast room was not overcrowded. Fast and stable wifi connection. Only needing to logon once - relief! We would definately return to the Victoria on our next visit to Budapest, and will certainly recommend it to our friends.
Everything! Great location, gorgeous views, friendly staff, wonderful service, very nice room
The breakfast was a bit bland. However, I did have one of the staff if she could make me some eggs
We liked our room with beautiful view, comfortable and spacious room. Receptionist was very helpful (sorry can not recall her name) and other staf also at the bar downstairs( there is happy hour in beetwen 5pm and 6pm which is very handy).
Wonderful, big comfortable rooms with a fantastic view of the parliament buildings and bridges all lit up at night. The big, big windows were great! Very helpful front desk staff. The full breakfast made a great start to the day of sightseeing.
Disappointed with the afternoon tea. The rooms had old world charm, but the presentation didn't live up to the advertisement. Not as classy as I had expected.
view, staff, two big chairs and table in room, recommendations for dinner, etc Access to Hop On, Hop Off, and Tram, metro, and St. Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastiion.
Thought the breakfast was modest, except for made to order eggs. Room small, tight, selection modest. Location removed from more active Pest center.
Our room at the Boutique Hotel Victoria was large, comfortable and in an excellent location for visiting Budapest. Staying on the Buda side of the river was quiet with outstanding restaurants close-by and only metres from the Chain Bridge. The breakfast was very good and the happy hour each day was a great time to catch up with other guests with common interests (travelling). We didn't need to catch public transport but if needed the trams stopped on the doorstep of this hotel.
Nothing to dislike.
Everything, especially the location and the view from our room.
There was nothing not to like.
The view cannot be beat!! And the location is excellent. Very walkable and with the tram, metro and boat very nearby as well. Would definitely recommend.
View directly over the Danube for all rooms with Elizabeth Bridge to the right and Parliament building to the left. Room had huge picture windows. Tea served in the afternoon, free of charge, in beautiful White Room in historic, restored rooms at the rear of the hotel.
+Great view of Parliament, etc. +Beautiful room +beds +Lift (cozy) +USB charging port +bar with 2for1 happy hour +very nice standard euro breakfast buffet w/self-serve cappuccino & made-to-order egg dishes +nice cafes nearby +Bank ATM & market near tram/underground stop +can buy stamps at front desk +relatively uncomplicated wifi connection
-pillows (standard euro large & limpy) -breakfast room nice, but crowded -no coffee/tea in room (not unusual)
The view - it was tempting to just sit in the window for three days to watch the river traffic go by! Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful, when we made inquiries beforehand and during our stay. The breakfast too was excellent and the rooms comfortable.
Location, view of Parliament building through picture window.
location view quality of room
small breakfast room
The view from the bedroom was the best there could be. We were on the eighth floor and had a wonderful view of the Parliament and chain bridge - especially at night. The room was very comfortable and a reasonable size. TV and wi-fi good. Good choice of food for breakfast.
The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests which meant that some people had to wait for a free table. The free afternoon tea was not available for most of the time we were there (although this wasn't a big deal for us).
One morning jet lag finally hit us and we overslept the breakfast time. When we came downstairs the front staff set up a table just for us and gave us a late breakfast. The location of the hotel is great,Parlament across ,tram infront and Metro 2blocks from us. All the tourist attractions are close or easily reached by public transportation. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
The breakfast room is a little small
The view from the room was amazing, overlooking the Parliament Buildings in one side, chain bridge on the other, beautiful...location was great. We walked everwhere....
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room..a big minus for us... the advertisement spoke about tea served in the white room in the afternoon which would have been nice aftera day of sighting seeing..we were there 4 days and the room was not available for 3 days..meeting etc.they could have put the tea/coffee on in the dinning area..but didn't. Beds a bit hard for us...but that is a personal preference
The hotel was small and friendly and in a great location. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Great views from the balcony of our room, especially at night looking at Budapest sparkling with all its lights.
