The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we even got an electric tea kettle for personal use, so my husband could drink his special teas any time during the day. The hotel is close to everything, it made it very comfortable to stay there as we never had to wander too far in any direction.

As a couple we asked for a queen-sized bed, what we got was ridiculously tiny for two: 120x180 cm (47,2 x 70,8 inches). Unfortunately it was also uncomfortable, we were mostly just tossing and turning in it instead of sleeping. :( The shower head was not the right size, so we had to hold it the whole time. Not a tragedy obviously but uncomfortable after a long, rainy day when you want to relax a bit.

The warm hospitality from the staff at Villa City Center, especially Adam and Gina.. They both had good command of English which was unusual in Heviz,German and Russian were mostly understood. The excellent value for money was another aspect, why we chose Villa City Center We will certainly recommend this property to our friends Heviz is attractive to senior citizens because of the Termal lake and spa. As EU citizens and pensioners we could travel free on the Volan bus from Budapest. (actually a small supplement was paid)The high standard displayed in the spa was excellent and the overall cleanliness of the walk-ways was impressive. I cant wait to return

The very low beds were a challenge but I understand these beds were in most of the hotels/guest houses in Heviz

I liked the warm hospitality that Adam (the Manager) and Gina gave us. Nothing was too much trouble The breakfast was good and the self service suited us. The fact that we could sit outside or inside depending on the weather was excellent. There was that freedom to come and go as we pleased. I think Adam has a great future ahead as a tour manager or anything in tourism. There were some nice shops close at hand and of course close to the lake and all the marvellous facilities there.

I found the very low beds did not suit but I think most of the hotel have the same type. It gave me an excuse for having another massage at the spa

Close to bus station, Heviz lake & right in the centre of town. Breakfast is really good & you can eat it outside. Happy with the staff. Description of what you get is accurate.

Hotel is located in quiet place, not far from Hévíz lake. Very attentive and polite staff, very tidy rooms and corridors, no any problem with breakfast, stable Wi-Fi access. When I departed in the early morning, I received some sandwiches and apple instead of breakfast :-) Despite a few personal problems, I think that it's a very good hotel for its accommodation price.

My room had too few electric outlets, I was able to connect only 2 devices: notebook and phone charger instead of table lamp. A simple 3-branch box could help. No electric kettle and hair dryer in the room. It's possible to take a kettle from the buffet for a while, but it's the only kettle in the hotel. A few more devices could solve the problem. The blanket was a bit too short for my hight (182 cm).

The staff was helpful. It is the nearest to the Thermal Pond.

There is no elevator, so you have big luggages, it was trouble.

The room was big and comfortable and had a nice balcony. The location is very central (right next to the main street) and breakfast was good.

We arrived late and we were tired and on top of that the whole check in process was long (the credit card reader wasn't working so I had to go to an ATM and the english of the staff lady was far from perfect). After all that, it wasn't easy to park the car because the parking spot was really tiny (although it was for free and that's a plus).
