Relaxing location - I felt very close to nature the whole time I was there; proximity to river - had to climb down tothe bottom of the stairs to get to the river, the current was a bit strong when we went but the scenery was pretty; our private pool; public pool was huge - no other guests were around we felt like we owned the whole place, it was so nice to swim in the big pool, just relax and listen to the chirping birds and buzzing insects; rooms were spacious especially the master bedroom on the top floor of the 3 bedroom villa; toilet and bath are clean and spacious; balcony has a good view of the forest and the private pool downstairs; lounge room, kitchen area and dining area are very convenient - feels like being in one's own house; extra storage room to put your luggage in but we didn't use this as we only stayed for a night and the rooms are massive enough to store our luggage in; reception and kitchen staff are friendly
Too many mozzies outside; villa is a bit old - feels creepy having to sleep by myself in one room so even with 3 bedrooms, we only used 2 of the rooms; TV is too old - they need to upgrade to a flat screen TV with better picture quality; food is expensive but it tastes average so better to just get takeaway and have it at the villa
Room was spacious. Comfy bed. Amazing property. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Regular shuttle service into Ubud.
the private pool the view
a bit far from ubud center
Location is perfect nice place for relaxation Area to quite and amazing view to jungle pool very amazing
Staff only in lobby not everywhere in the hotel , you have to call him if you are in pool to order something
The location and surroundings are awesome. Very relaxing place to stay - so far, the most beautiful place we've stayed in.
Our private pool is freezing cold....we didn't get to use it.
Great fun - nice resort
Potential plus. Has been a beautiful resort and the location is idyllic. Surrounded by nature. Staff overall were very friendly and welcoming.
Facilities not all operating. Communal areas away from reception we're poorly maintained. The villas themselves were not particularly well cleaned. Great potential but lacking which was sad.
The staff were very helpful, and ran an extra shuttle into Ubud for us when we went to reception and realised we had just missed one.
Our room was very musty, and far too big for 2 of us (we were put in a 3 level, 3 bedroom/bathroom villa). The shower was in the middle of the room upstairs, no ceiling and nowhere for the steam to go but into the bedroom. The aircon was very noisy too. Unfortunately we couldn't wait to leave.
Location was quiet and serene and overlooked the jungle with monkeys playing nearby. Nothing to do at villas so you need a sight seeing plan. Some of the staff were helpful.
Rooms were dirty, furniture was old, stained and very worn, paint was peeling, showers mouldy and sheets were dirty and threadbare. A hotel driver was inappropriate when suggesting he liked to 'shag' and was very interested in us. Really creeped us out and kept us on high alert for our stay. If I hadn't paid up front I would have changed my accommodation to elsewhere.
Scenery is amazing, location good for some R&R. Good intentions but follow up needs some attention.
The restaurant is poor value for money and not flexible (esp breakfast!). As location is 15 minutes by car from Ubud options are limited. They appear to offer hikes and bike rides but front staff has no clue about it. Too bad.
Very quiet location. Spacious rooms. Staff very friendly. Possibility of rent a motorbike directly in hotel.
Breakfast Not included. Poor quality of food.
Excellent and friendly staff- service was amazing. Food in restaurant very good. Lovely charm to the place with wonderful views. Free shuttle into Ubud very handy.
Hotel slightly dated but this added to the charm. Would recommend one of the smaller apartments rather than the three story villas.
torn towels. bathroom door did not close. waiters were not attentive and messy, clumsy.
Staff friendly. View fantastic.
Mould throughout villa, paint peeling in most rooms. General feeling of 'Penny pinching' in all areas - 2 plates, 3 cups for a 3 bedroom villa, breakfast just qualifies as breakfast.
I like the closeness to the jungle.
I didn't like the condition of the jacuzzi or that the yoga was only on the weekend. I also would have liked to be Ble to have a cocktail.
Quiet. Lovely forest outlook.
Too many steps in and out of villa. No toilet on living/dining room level. They need to update their website and in hotel brochure as it had activities on there that they no longer offer.
Anahata is beautiful and special so scenic and peaceful. Little removed from Ubud which is not a bad thing as UBud busy. Only about 10 minutes from main area ubud. Also longer route to get there which we also did few times and not a problem. Good shuttle services quite a few times during the day and staff/drivers very obliging. Truly worth the stay. We had villa 8 with beautiful private pool and was huge and fancy and we felt like king and queen. Breaky fine and fresh made to order. Eggs any way plus bacon and toast. Also fresh fruit. No cereal or muslei. Food for dinner nice fairly small portions and not much to choose but certainly can eat nice food there if want to stay at villas. Some amazing restaurants in town so can eat there and then return. Found villas and beds very clean and presented well.
Would definitely tell others going to ubud to stay there for sure. Make sure you also do bike ride with Bali baik baik tours yellow tshirts amazing!! Ubud worth the visit and Annahatta villas - book now. Sheridan (Roach family) - Sydney Australia
Staff spoke little English. No WiFi in villas. Restaurant facility very poor
It's like living in the heart of nature, peaceful & tranquil for the mind, body & soul. Friendly, welcoming staff; Huge villa, Free shuttle service to Ubud Centre. Good & healthy breakfast. The restaurant food is tasty & presentable. Free Yoga lesson over the weekend (Fri-Sun morning)
The resort & villa got many steps so not suitable for those who have any physical constraints or elderly people. My Dad have issue going to the villa & to his bedroom but the staff arrange the nearest villa 2 for us. Really appreciate on this. Unpleasant odour in bedrooms. Spa seemed deserted. Should have tv in each room so that we don't have to climb the spiral stairs to the living area. No wifi in the villa, only available in the lobby.
The service staff are so courteous. The place is so green, tranquil and private. Food taste good.
Could see improvement in the cleanliness especially on the floor of the master bathroom of villa 10. It needs grouting. The couch has a very stale smell and certainly needs re-upholstering. Flooring is a little dusty. The standard of breakfast can be improved; I was served sandwiches that was already cold and the toasted bread was wet by the time it was served.
MY VILLA WAS NICE
VERY EXPENSIVE NO COCKTAILS AND MASSAGE ECT TOO EXPENSIVE
The quiet location. Free shuttle into Ubud. Staff were excellent. Breakfast included in price. Spacious villas.
Many of the services listed in the hotel brochure weren't actually available like x box, daily guided walks, horse riding.
Location - built on a steep rock slope high above the river nature pure though only 15 minutes drive from the busy Ubud centre Friendliness of the staff
Depending on provider miserable phone signal reception Very weak WiFi, actually not usable in the room, a little bit better in the lobby Interior of the villa, in which we stayed, needs urgently a refreshment Master Bedroom loveless furnished In Living Room musty smell For elderly people it is a challenge to reach the swimming pool down in the valley
Stunning location, a great place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty and incredible views. We enjoyed two incredible meals in the nearby 'Padi Organic' restaurant, brilliant food in a beautiful setting surrounded by padi fields. Beautiful swimming pool.
Food & Drink menu's very basic. Massages did not last full duration. Our Villa was quite dusty. Tip-At Bali airport taxi desk we were told Anahata was 30 minutes north of Ubud and official price was 450,000idr, in reality the hotel is 10 mins from Ubud and just over 1 hour from airport, we agreed a fairer rate of 350,000 with a taxi driver.
