+Location is great for sweet escape, or a relax over. ♡ the infinity pool with views of Indian Ocean. It's quite a long very small walkpath to shops, prepare ciggarattes etc (or you could just ask them to send you to nearest minimart for jusy 60k IDR!) +The room speaker blast "Bose" un the room make my day for guests who wants hear good music soaking overthe jacuzzi outside balcony. It was just fantastic! +All staff was excellent amd courteous (Every one of them!)
+The check-in wasn't smooth the bed wasn't ready upon arrival at 1.45pm. It was only ready half past 2. Acceptable, but with the price and five star ratings we expect every detail yo be smooth from start to finish. Front desk and reception need to polish certain areas. Reception are very important. Nevertheless, staff were courteous at all times.
New view in hotel, professional staffs
I chose this hotel because of the privacy you can get in their standard suites with ocean view. I requested an upper level room and got room 510 which is on the uppermost storey with rooms. The privacy was as I had wanted; you could sit in your outdoor jacuzzi with an uninterrupted ocean view and nobody could see you. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced and good quality. The staff was very friendly as expected in Bali, including Dimitri the hotel manager. The lift down the cliff face to the beach was not working but the walk down the steps is good exercise. The hotel is located on an excellent surf spot called The Impossibles and if you can't surf you'll enjoy the perfect rolling waves and sound of the ocean. The sunsets were amazing but they are even better in the summer when the sun sets bang in front if the hotel.
House keeping wasn't very prompt but not an issue.
The rooms were moudly, the wifi didn't work for a whole day and the hotel is completely run down..... they should not be charging these extravagant prices for such a run-down hotel!
The Jacuzzi on the balcony was amazing. Room service was prompt and was good.
Lots of variety at breakfast but the food wasn't that great. The lighting of the room was a bit dim and dark. Could see signs of wear and tear throughout the hotel although it was only 4 years old.
stuff food excellent view
Mattress needs to be renewed.
Friendly staff Great Service Perfect Ocean View
Expect to get a better quality breakfast The room service (meal) is pretty poor with such high price.
The staff were very friendly, in fact the manager, Dimitri, personally came over to me and my wife to welcome us. It had magnificent view of the ocean, and we enjoyed each and every moment of our honeymoon stay at Anantara. Continue to provide service of the highest standards at Anantara Uluwatu!
Everything! Great service, accommodations, incredible views, food. AMAZING
- the staff was friendly and nice - the bed was very comfort and the room was spacious - the internet connection was fast and stable - located near the beach and has a lift to reach the beach so i can go surfing easily
- the drainase of our shower room is not working well
Resort was really nice and views are incredible. Staff were friendly. Best club s/wich by the pool.
Wouldn't say great value for money. Resort is starting to look tired and service in restaurant was slow. Food was a bit overpriced too. Ex. My 3yr old was charged half adult price for breakfast buffet even though he ate one egg, some fruit and a Danish. He is still free at Buffett at sheraton until four for breakfast lunch dinner.
Love the services, love the location and ocean view, love the pools, the food and drinks. Had a wonderful and memorable stay at Uluwatu Anantara. Will love to visit other Anantara resorts when I'm able to splurge on holidays.
At 450 SGD a night (it's the lowest price) I can't extend my stay for too long without going over my budget!
The View.... The staffs and porters... The 6th floor café is fantastic and the staffs are all very warmth. I would love to go back and stay again....well done!
there are no cups in the villa for drinking. Too much debris and leaves in the pool which may make it feels a bit dirty. The lift to the beach feels a bit unsafe.
The grounds and gardens are beautiful. The layout of the hotel is like none I've ever seen before, and the dramatic views you get from each of the suites are unmatched. The multi-level infinity pool, with waterfalls and swim-up private patios, was beautiful, warm, and always clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to fulfill our requests with a smile. The spa was delightful and a great value for money. We had informed the resort it was our honeymoon, and when we arrived there was a heart made of rose petals on our bed, and when we called for a bottle of champagne to be delivered, it arrived with a complimentary piece of chocolate cake with a nice congratulatory message for us. There was also a free yoga lesson and various other activities during our stay. Overall, the stay was top notch. If you can afford it, get a room with a private plunge pool!! Our neighbor had one, and I wish we had opted for it.
The location is quite far from the urban areas of Bali. It's close to a couple of attractions, but mostly we stayed in the hotel and spa facilities. It took about an hour and a half in traffic to reach Seminyak. If you're a surfer, or want to just relax privately, the location will do you just fine. The food was good, but not life-changing. Given that the rest of the hotel was world-class, I would have enjoyed some more creative and challenging meals.
value for money :)
The pool was nice. The rooms were big with a nice view over the pool to the water. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food good.
Our room was big but a bit dark and damp smelling. We were also charged for a shampoo container that accidentally got broken in the shower. I don't think breakable items should be in a shower area where it's wet, slippery & vision can be limited and feet can be cut if the items fall.
I had a good experience with this resort. Everything was great, even with the stairs to the lobby was a long walk. I had a great two bedroom garden villa. The rooms were very huge. The private pool was great.
But there was a little mistake, the housekeeping told the receptionist that we used an extrabed, that made the receptionist had to check to the room, because we didn't use any extra bed
We loved the views the pools , The fact we were out of the way of the normal Bali busy precincts . We were able to just kick back and relax . We were also impressed shown by our Taxi driver Kawidana and the Staff at the resort
Cant think of anything at the moment
Everything was so beautiful
Friendly Staff , The Spa , The infinity pool
Far location , No access to a swimming beach other than that the stay was perfect
- spacious room, double vanities in bath room - nice and large spa on the balcony - the path leading to the hotel is nice and quite - the view around pool is magnificent - food are good - service at the pool are excellent
- wifi not so great, could not load photos to wechat during the whole stay, so could not share how great the hotel was - too many stairs to the pool, wish there was some quick lift
I liked the 360 restaurant.
location was really far in the middle of no where. Cleanness of the rooms and suites is bad, smells very bad. Many cracks in the walls. I think they have a problem with the sewage system so the smells of the toilets go all around the room. its very strong. even cover sheets smells like a toilet. so we had to check out or ask for a better room. so we had to pay for 2 bedroom villa which was little better than the rooms and the suite. at least the smell was less and bed coversheet were better quality. if we had the chance we would have cancelled the stay, but unfortunately it was nonrefundable.
The grounds were beautiful
Taxi scam Breakfast venue could be upgraded and up to date More facilities needed
The service is excellent, and the 3 bedroom villa was fabulous. Luxurious and private having evening cocktails in your own private pool.
Traffic getting into the main tourist areas such as Kuta and Semanyak is an experience best undertaken with closed eyes. Lots of stairs.
Anantara was the perfect retreat! The staff are wonderful, beautiful views, great pool, delicious good and lovely accommodation. Will definitely be coming back!
