the staffs were friendly. check in/out was effective. taxi was not a problem. location was good. bed is comfortable.

facilities were bad and old. fridge was not working. ants was crawling on the celling wall, and I call the staff, what they do was bring up a can of insect spray and spray the entire room and left. no safebox. the laundry guy came pressing the bell and knocking on the door every morning at 9:30 despite I already put the "do not disturb" sign. no toothbrush/toothpaste

The location of Ibis Jakarta Arcadia to Tanah Abang is about 10mins walk. It's very convenient for us to walk to Tanah Abang. There's a few shopping centre nearby. The area is very lively at night with food stalls along the road and pubs. Will definitely book this hotel again.

Toilet was quite old. There's no water spray. Toothbrush was not provided.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed was huge and comfortable. Quiet at night. Good water pressure in shower. Free wifi available in the room.

Contrary to the new and shiny lobby area the rest of the hotel is old and needs a good deep cleaning. The ac in the room was leaking, someone came to fix it but then it was leaking again. However I was moved to a different room immediately, so no harm done.

The hotel is located at the very strategic place in Jakarta. Convenient, comfortable, good counter service, good staff service and very friendly as well. Although the rooms are a bit small but comfy, clean, and affordable enough for city trip.

On the first visit to the room, the toilet basin tap wasn't working well and the air-condition isn't working too well either. But after reporting the problem to the staff, the problem was solved as soon as they could. When we return from our city day tour, everything was working well. Kudos for the quick remedy.

Room was comfortably ok, but had electrical problems-fridge, kettle then lights didn't work. Location was great, close to shops, restraunts and a good pub next door. Very expensive to drink in the hotel, as I found out, a bottle of beer was 3 times as much than in the bar next door. Free wifi in rooms but signals were bad so I could not use it, had to go down to the lobby.

Staff were ok behind the desk but not as friendly as the other staff. Rooms are a bit tired and starting to have problems. My electrical power was unstable. Extras very expensive don't drink in the hotel it's robbery with their prices and service changes. Wifi did not work in my room.

Liked nothing else except the fact that it is in the downtown area

Receptionist with an attitude problem when I tried to check in. Her supervisor/Manager wouldn't show up when I asked her to call him. He kept me waiting. Charged me Rupiah 9050 per dollar when the going rate everywhere else was below 8900 per dollar. I wanted to pay in usd as per my agreement with booking.com. But, initially I was told that I couldn't do it. The manager did apologise when he later showed up. This is the first time I am complaining about a booking I made through booking.com and I have made atlest 20 bookings through you in the past 12 months!

It's quite centralised area for shopping and easily accessible to other places of interest.

Main entrance steps were very steep especially for my wife who has stiff legs.
