Clean room that was beautifully decorated. Excellent use of space. Very comfortable bed. Lots of effort had been put into the decor which was great, but the little things that don't cost as much had been overlooked. No free wifi, we kept asking about the shuttle and told they'd see and ring us back, which they didn't - and eventually we were told those in the villas would get preference. Taxis to town cost a pound so not a problem, but we had to find this out for ourselves. It would have been useful to have some leaflets or information about the area and transport etc in the rooms but nothing was left out for us. We weren't shown the facilities or given information about the cafe or room service either and when we went to the cafe were ignored so went back to our room. All in all a shame as good clean apartments but the lack of attention to obvious details as well as strange location mean we probably wouldn't go back. There are nicer places at this price I think.

Superb value for money for the quality you are actually getting. Awesome hotel staff who always go the extra mile to make your stay even more comfortable. You will always find your room all cleaned and tidied no matter what time of the day you return from exploring the surrounding Seminyak region. Hard to decide on what I liked best, even harder to think of what I didn't like at all! Nothing. To those geniuses who mentioned "soggy toast", seriously, remove the cling-wrap when you receive your warm toast. And as for the pot-holed riddled road, seriously can't blame the hotel management for that. If the thin-walls eroding your privacy is really such an issue, stop being such a whinny cheapskate and get a villa.

Nice, close drive to Seminyak Square (2-5 minutes in a taxi), pool area is small but lovely, staff are generally nice. Road to hotel is shocking! Don't freak out, it's perfectly drivable, just slows you down a little bit :-) not really walkable to Seminyak Square (unless you really want a trek). It's a little isolated, but not necessarily a bad thing. The only real annoyance I had were that the air con/power is connected to your key (so when you're not in the room there's no air con) and the staff would some times leave the door to the open air bathroom open - meaning the room was very warm when I got back at the end of the day.

I was horrified with the road leading up to the property, it was full of giant potholes and when it rained was flooded.

Like the hotel, was clean and well kept, Staff were friendly and rooms were cleaned daily. It had all the facilities you expect of a 4-star hotel. The road leading to the hotel was very bumpy - it's just a dirt road which they have to get repaired/built-up if they want to attract more tourists to the hotel.

Love the brightness of the rooms as all furniture and walls were mostly white. However ants came easily into the room and found bugs on the bed as we arrived. We wanted to swim in the pool but changed our mind as there were insects floating on the pool as well! Not to mention the road to astana kunti was terrible!!

I like the interior design, it's all white so it makes a clean image of the room and it's quite. In term of price it's affordable. I don't like to breakfast. They didn't gave a variety of the food. Talking about the cleanliness of the room, it's not to clean and they didn't top up the amenities.

It was a great place to stay and we had a very happy time there. It was a good 30 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the main shopping strip. As we enjoy walking, the location was fine with us. There was also a great spa in the same street so we enjoyed a few massages. We liked the bright, clean and comfortable rooms the best.

Me & my family loved this Hotel in every aspect. From the Receptionists who were very polite and friendly to the smartly and tastefully designed rooms, every thing was perfect. I loved the idea of direct pool access from the rooms which are located on the first floor of the main building. All of the workers of the hotel were smiling which felt great. Tours can be arranged by the receptionists (ask for an English speaking driver. Ayam the driver cum tour guide helps out of the way). Rooms are well equipped and quite big. We as a family of three adults were comfortable in one room for three nights. Astana Kunti is recommended for long & short stays. The road leading to the hotel is full of potholes but it's not the hotels fault .The reception area although nice could be improved. The extra bed should be a bit harder.

the best things are the comfort of the room and the staff service. room's clean, very nicely-designed, elegant, minimalist-styled and spacious. the staffs provide great services - one staff named pipit, offers very good service and the others are helpful. despite being located quite far from main seminyak area, taxis arrive quite fast after being called plus cheap fares, so there is totally no problem... overall, had a very nice stay at AK :) the road leading to the apt is quite bad..can also hear pple chattering from the pool...

it's clean, spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped and affordable. Our room was next to staff's room - so it gets really noisy and we can hear them chatting and coming in and out of the room everytime. On our last day we didnt get any breakfast. Usually the front off staff would ask us breakfast menu the night before when we come back to the hotel. But on our last night we came back early and didnt leave the hotel again and no one bothered to call to ask the breakfast menu for the next day. So, in the morning we didnt get any breakfast.

“I wanted a place for my first week in Bali that was top flight and relaxing. And this was. The decor was beautiful. The foliage, the blue tiled pool, the white buildings. The pool was so nice, I only went to the beach to jog. It was very nicely located, a 10 minute walk from the beach and near plenty of restaurants and stores, yet completely secluded. The staff also were fantastic, friendly, and very helpful. Beautiful and hassle free. It is as nice as it looks in the photos” Albert, Vancouver |
