Internet not free

The front desk staff were wonderful. There was trouble with air-conditioning in 2 of our 4 rooms, and Batavia took steps to fix it in the middle of the night and later moved us to another suite. The pool is fabulous. Many of our Jakarta friends commented on Batavia's great location. Security is excellent; all vehicles are thoroughly checked prior to being admitted to the grounds.

Be sure to tell your cab driver that it's Batavia APARTMENTS in Benhill. The Batavia Hotel is better known, and our driver went their first. For 3 bedrooms, each with a king sized bed, only 3 breakfasts are included when we felt it should be up to 6. Pool towels come from the fitness center, and they will only give you 2, no matter how many people are in your party, so bring room towels with you.

1) No free wifi or internet service(a big fully booked apt shd provide this free) 2) kitchen needs maintenance(tho fridge is new) 3) no free tissue, even the pen has no ink. 4) breakfast is fair. 5) seems to be short of staff. 6) staff not really friendly

The room had a bad smell of drains. The bed was very uncomfortable. There is no iron in the room. The fridge was leaking.

Excelent Breakfast, beautiful swiming pool and spa, very nice garden at 4 th floor going to swiming pool, position of apartment is good, there is lively area with a litle shops.

Area was not very clean, and reception was helpful but they asked for extra charge for requested additional towels, which should not be done in tropical country.

It was clean and tidy the hotel staff were helpfull and friendly.

The location was a little off and finding it in the first instance not the easiest.

I liked how friendly and informative the staff was. If you are by yourself - the bellstaff will ensure you get a taxi to your desired location one way or another (the motorcycle taxis were awesome!!!). The rooms were nice and it felt like I could live there. There was a couch, a dining table for 2, a refridgerator, a stove top with 2 burners. The view from the window was nice - you get a great view of Jakarta. The prayers from the Mosque made everyday feel like you were in a movie wih the background music. The prayers was not loud or obnoxious that you could not sleep through it or that it would wake you up from a nap. The breakfast was nice, lots of choices.

There was only a dodgy stew pot and a frying pan in the apartment I stayed in. There should have been a sauce pan available for cooking ramen noodles for a snack after coming back bent from the Stadium at 1pm. There were cultery in the apartment, but no dishes nor dish washing soap. The 100,000 RP charge for internet was a bit excessive, considering how long I was in the room for - but also fair considering how inexpensive the rooms were. The connection speed was ridiculously fast. I downloaded a 1Gb movie in about 10 minutes.

Near The Jakarta Convention Center and local food. There are a Pizza Hut, 7Eleven and local food in the walking distance. No shopping area around there, need to get the taxi to town around 15 minutes. I book one bed room which there is a living room and kitchen that is nice. Nice view on the high floor. Room size is good and large for the family.

No extra pillow which have to pay for 5 us$/day. Breakfast is normal. Internet is 10 US$/day too expensive

The location is great near to many shopping malls, and have many ways to run from the crazy traffic. The staff were nice Value of money

The building overall needs to be renovated and hall way needs to be re painted

Acess difficult due to road works, taxi drivers do not respond to the address given on the web site The pplug sockets are two pin requiring converterplugs. Those sold in the minin mart are not to an approved standard

Good to stayed at this type of apartment, spacious for a family with all the facility needed like cooking washing machine fridge etc that was excellent. For sure will recommended to friends or family members. Cheers keep it up thanks Batavia........

Only one thing during morning breakfast seen some patronage smoking at an enclosed area that was totally unconfortable n a nuisance. Maybe the management try to think of something how to avoid people not to smoke at an enclosed area.Suggested to have an open space for those smoker so they can enjoy their breakfast too and not to disturb for non smoker with family.Thanks

Near to shopping mall, big rooms & very suit for big family with childs.

The apartment was great - it was furnished completely for the guests - they even provided a microwave, cutlery and a washing machine! Great for groups, and the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful.

The fact that they charge Rp100,000 for 24hrs of internet per login.

Apartment was just nice for my family of 4. Friendly and helpful staff to help us to get transport to the city. Nice location. Will recommend to other family members interested to travel to Jakarta.

This is best location in town!!! I always stayed in batavia everytime had a trip to jakarta.. Easy to find food, close to shopping mall, etc worth the money.

Bed to small on everyroom.. Probably need interior upgrade

Nothing and I will not recommend this apartment for any one.

Bad service: No internet only they are looking for money and most of the hotels at the wold internet is free!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And their breakfast poor and no arabic tv chanels and their customers from arbic contries more than others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .Also, no taxi service availble like before.............No think again to stay at this poor apartment.

The poor credit card connection, the piracy of the exchange rate from USD to Indonesian Rupia when the hotel could not obtain a credit crda connection.
