The beach is not good. You cannot walk on beach.

views from room across pool to ocean were spectacular. Prices of activities, food and drink was very cheap. Outdoor bathroom was just perfect,

Aircon only just coped. Lighting is low powered (which admittedly relates to generator power)

beautiful beach-front huts, comfortable bed, very friendly staff, love the motor-bike tour, also love the snorking tour, swimming pool is very nice, overall a nice and relaxing place to stay

The island itself is quite quiet and Bay Shore Huts are located outside the main village but near Mushroom Bay which is stunning. The view back to Bali is fantastic on a clear day. The restaurant was decent and reasonably priced.

We were there in low season so it possibly may have been better to stay in the main village unless you are willing to drive a moped as despite what the guidebooks say cycling is not encouraged and there are no real walkways to get around on foot.

Awesome pool and the bungalows are great. The staff is very helpful.

Do not book any boat trip with the hotel. It will be more expensive. More and more expensive.

The staff where lovely. The huts basic but comfortable and clean... Loved the outdoor showers!

We liked the quiet laid back atmosphere. Magnificent views accross the water to Bali volcano from both the infinity pool and restaurant. Couldn't get any closer to the water if you tried. Very comfy bed. Helpful and friendly staff made us feel very much at home. Lovely gardens. New villas will be opened in June with huge pool and spa area. Would highly recommend a visit but understand this is Lembongan Island NOT Bali so expectations should be adjusted.

New villas were being built immediately behind our room. Hammering and power saws are not exactly relaxing. We were unable to use our outdoor toilet and shower while thatching was being installed. No privacy. Air con struggled to cope with daytime heat. Cannot swim easily off beach.

The "hut" where we stayed was fantastisc, like the pool and the staff. The ambient is great!

- Kindness of the staff, you feel more like with friends/family than in hotel which is something I like - Huts are very nice and Clean - Little terrasse for every hut - Wi-Fi in the room with strong signal (sea view hut) - 50 meters max. from the sea - The food at the restaurant is really delicious with reasonable prices. - Breakfast is ok, can ask several coffee or toast without any problem.

-The birds!! There's lot, lot lot of dove in the residence and it's a real nuisance!! They start to make noise (gruu gruu gruu) from 6am and it didn't stop for the whole day until night. We were there to relax from our every day and stressful life and it was tampered by these creatures (cannot sleep!!) Owner of the hotel really should do something about it. -The toilets and shower are outside the hut which is not convenient, especially in the middle of the night. Even tough they are still private. -Internet speed is slow (DSL 1Mbyte) but i'm aware that it's very expensive to subscribe ISP in Indonesia, so i understand hotel are not willing to spend to much for this.

Only staying for 4 days!!!!

We left the hustle and bussle of Sanur and southern Bali with all the crazy traffic and chaos and travelled the 30 mins in the fast boat out to Lembongan island. How glad we were we did.. This place is a real Balinese experience - the tiny island, riddled with little lanes and track perfect for mopeds only has mopeds on the island and everyone is on them gliding about. The population of the island must be quite small, but even so there are beautiful athentic villages with glorious temples and amazing trees and plants all abounding- a joy to see and explore. Bay Shore huts wasa real treasure to find and from the moment we four arrived from the harbour of little Lembongan, they treated us like long time friends and made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Nick, one of the managers there was amazing. He is a native Lembongan and his demeanour and softly spoken warm hearted friendliness is so typical of the gentle people of this tiny island. We cannot recommend enough Bay Shore huts or Lembongan. We would have stayed longer, but they were fully booked. Book well in advance to avoid disappointment. The bedrooms are amazing - beds draped with mosquito nets, and amazing open air bathroom, clean beyond belief and pristine. We will definitely be back.

there was nothing at all to complain about - for even the most fastidious type - but the people there are so relaxed, don't go spoiling it for everyone else if you like to look for things to complain about. The energy there is so wonderful, everyone we met, locals and visitors alike were happy and welcoming. Bali's best kept secret!

Our huts were beautiful. We got married here and Putu (hotel Owner) made our wedding day beyond our dreams. Food was good and the staff are knowledgable and friendly. Great pool at the seaside.

Too many flies. The music in the restaurant Play the same song over and over and I mean over and over.

Polite and frendly staff. Great houses, very clean, new and with good design - we especially liked the bed and its cover. I recommend room #2 if possible, it has the best view.

The Staff is exceptional. Very friendly. They can help you to organize all your activities, SUP, Kayak, Diving, Scooter, restaurant booking... The huts are very nice, very clean, they did the room everyday. The staff is very friendly They have massage and manicure pedicure Price are VERY attractive The food is very good, they do a la minute and everything is very tasty Overall we had a great stay thanks to the staff , the location is remote but all is accessible by scooter and you can rent a boat to go around the island very easily!

I would say just the AC in the room wasn't very strong

My first impression was that the hut was too small and dark as the bed takes up virtually the whole room and the bathroom facilities are outdoors. There is a small verandah with table and chair to sit at and that is it. However we did get used to it and enjoyed our stay. It is hard not to relax in such a beautiful environment. The breakfast provided was great. The menu for dinner and lunch needs extending though as it is fairly limited and becomes boring if you have a long stay. The beer was also never cold enough either, however this is quiet common throughout bali! As mentioned before, it is a new complex and the gardens and pool area are lovely. This property began with 4 huts and they now have 11 with the last 2 being finished while we were there. I would say that more will also come as the paths have been allowed for. Whether the pool area could accommodate that many guests at capacity may be an issue in the future. Some of the newer huts at the back of the complex are considered delux and are bigger inside with lounge, fridge, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. I would probably choose one of those if I stayed again, however they do not have an ocean view. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Nice ocean view and pretty ok hotel for Lembongan standards, don't expect to much luxury on this Island. Food was good and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Access from or to boat very unpleasant and difficult. Either dropped in mud/water with your luggages directly at the hotel or by pickup to the main pickup place to return to Bali still have to go in water. They could easilly set a better access to boat.

Very friendly staff, clean and traditional huts with a breath of luxury. Good and cheap restaurantes just a few minuts away, but even the restaurant of the bay shore huts itself provides good food to an exelent price.

The way to the huts is a bit in a bad state (but the roads on Lembongan are in general not the best). The beach is not suitable for swinging, there are to much fisher boats. But on the other hand, the mushroom bay is just 5min walk away.

The staff were so friendly and always happy,going out of their way to make our stay perfect. The huts were beautiful, new and very clean. The infinity pool was amazing looking out to the beach and dining area was open and looking out to the beach also,the perfect place to have a meal.Every meal or snack that we had there was beautiful and plentiful and always served with a smile. The perfect place to unwind, so peaceful and relaxing. mike was happy as the beer was always cold. We loved our stay and would defiantly stay thee again.

The air conditioner could of been colder. But wasn't an issue.
