I loved the room, spacious (seaview deluxe), nice view of the beach and palmtrees. The pool is great especially the bar inside the pool (yes! in the water). Cocktails are lovely. Food is good. The beach is beautiful. I wish there was a bookstore where I could find magazines, international newspapers and maybe books. Also, I think the choice of shops is very limited (except for 2 Polo stores and 2 souvenirs shops that sell the same items). Finally I wish I was told that the hotel was under renovation (lobby, pool bar, beach bar) and therefore the noise disturbance would be constant. |

It is grossly over priced and the service staff was not presentable. Surprisingly for any request they just say no! And after requesting again and again they were eventually able to perform the same task without difficulty. Imagine a couple was offered a room with 2 single beds! |

The staff was very rude and ill-informed. Courtesy was the last thing to be seen in their ridiculous behaviour. The staff needs to be trained from scratch. |

A lot of activities available to get the day going. Excellent pools and beautiful surroundings. A downside is the size of the hotel complex. It takes time to get from point A to B. |

Its all very nice and looks good. Everything is present in this resort. Great pools and close to own beach. people are vey friendly It is not possible to explore things on your own outside the resort. This results that you have to hire a car with driver to see things outside. 60 sin dollar for 6 hours. 25 dollar for any extra hour. Inside the resort it seems that they make big advantage of the fact that you can’t run away. Its very, very expensive for all the things what you do. And for everything that you do, there have to be paid. Nothing is included except the pool. Prices that have to be paid for food and drinks are the same as in Singapore in the popular areas. Example a beer (local) 6 sin dollar for a small can. For diner a minimum of40/50 sin dollar. Outside the resort a big meal cost 10 sin dollars. Huge difference. All with all if you don’t mind these prices and being locked up in a resort its very good staying there. |

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was of a very good standard. The hotel had a lovely family feel to it. The day bed in the room doubled up nicely as a bed for our 3 year old son. Parts of the hotel could do with a refurb - some areas around the pools and the wooden balcony was a bit rotten. Compared to Singapore prices the food was a little expensive. |

The staff was great and the activities available were excellent for a family holiday. I wish we could stay longer. The room facilities like hand towels, quality of cosmetics could be better. |

Swimming pool was great for the kids with the slides. Beach was clean and save for the kids. Buffet breakfast was good. We got the room earlier than the 3pm checkin time. Price level for food and drinks is for a country like Indonesia on the high level. You had the feeling you were in singapore and not in Indonesia. Breakfast area can be very crowded during sunday. |

The room was very nice. Clean & just been refurbished Staff need to be more attentive & pro-active. At the beach bar many items were out of stock including coffee. I find it unbelievable that you cannot get a coffee & no offer from the staff to get one from another outlet. Given the prices are basically high class Singapore hotel prices I would expect a similar level of service & product available. |

From Bintan Port to the hotel and back transpo were provided free. And, the two separate rooms of different locations we previously booked were upgraded to adjacent rooms fronting the gardens and main pool, perfect for our big family. The walking distance from our rooms to the beach was a bit far but the fact that we only got out to the beach once a day was still okey. The only thing that caught us unaware was the price of food which was higher than normal. Since this is a small issue we are coming back for sure. |

I did not like the prices around the resort, too expensive. I thought being in Indonesia it would have value for money, but found out it was the same price as living in Singapore |

the food at kopi-o and the pleasant staff there were cockroaches in my room! the toilet flush at times didn't work and it was leaking the toilet water out. when i advised the staff regarding the matter only a towel was used to cover the leakage and the flush left unattended. rather disappointing. |

Really big pool with enough sunloungers; Nice, modern room; Friendly staff - possibility to have a late check-out/ to deposit our luggage until departure; Appropriate breakfast-buffet. Inattentive in housekeeping; Parts of the hotel-area seem still to be under construction; Loud music at the poolbar that wasn`t necessary. |

The pool area and service is relaxing and good. The Japanese restaurant is v nice. The room and outdoor terrace is a bit old. We did not find the grill particularly nice. The salad buffet in the evening was too blend. The food was not really value for money. |

The cooling beach , and the friendly people at the place. There is many insect at the night , and the pricing of the food are not worth for value. And also , if you book a room for 2 people , and have more people staying at there, you would have to pay an extra fees. |

Restaurant - Italian was good, but as you would expect quite pricey. The buffet restauarant was ok for breakfast but you had to walk through people smoking to get to the food as they have stupidly put the smoking section around the buffet area - this is accessible only by a lot of concrete steps. Where do I start? The room I had booked was a deluxe garden view room with private terrace. The furniture was tatty and old and the room smelled damp. The garden could be walked through by anyone so not at all private. The pictures on the website are of newly refurbished rooms - not the ones we were offered at first. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great. The two pool areas were very nice plenty of shade and very clean. The beach, gorgeous and clean. One thing that spoilt it was walking from the beach back to the hotel we came across a freight container and a badly damaged building. Not the sort of thing you would expect to see in a 4 and a half star resort!! |
