This was my second stay and I enjoyed it.

Bintan Lagoon charges everything in Singapore Dollars. Wonder why don't they deal in their currency! I made credit card payments for all my purchases and restaurant. Later realised that they charge bit higher than the ongoing market exchange rate (since they charge credit cards in Indonesian Rupiah).

Bintan resort is a good hotel with a good service. It provides many opportunities for guests to entertain themselves, such as table tenis, snooker, trampolines, swimming pools, etc. It has kind and helpful staff.

1. Why is Indonesian hotel charging Singaporean prices? If I wanted a hotel and dinner at Singaporean prices I do not need to take ferry and pay usd 10 x 4 for visa to Indonesia. 2. We came specifically for beautiful beaches. What we found is a beach with white sand full of tar balls, water full of oil drops, probably from some unidentified spill in the nearby sea. NOBODY CARED TO MENTION THIS TO US. Especially together with the point #1, that means that I paid for dirtier sea, hotel room and dinner for Singaporean prices. Why the hell did I leave Singapore then??? 3. Why are all prices "++"? Why not tell the guests how much they WILL actually end up paying? I find this derogatory, as it makes me feel that someone thinks I am stupid not to be able to do simple maths. Then again, why should *** I *** do the maths on *** my *** holiday if someone could just tell me straight what are they going to charge? 4. Resort could use more of its rural setting. The "nature walk" was unfinished, although it was advertised (disappointment).

The people working in the resort are friendly and some what helpful the outside infrastructure is ok

The hotel is dirty, the rooms are very dirty. The bathroom is not clean at all, under the bed a lot of dust was still there. If you like the cokraoches you can then go there. I was not a really nice experience at all. Instead of staying 2 nights I have only spent 1 and left early saturday morning. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have travelled around the world, in Island also and all sorts of Hotel, but this one is far from being a 5 star hotel.

I like th cleannes of th rom and I think the rom were werry lyxury.

I think the rom very mayby to expencive. But I realy enoy staying with you

Nice resort hotel with two exellent golf courses. Staff were friendly and the room was very nice, clean and good size with own private balcony. I would recomend this hotel for golfers or beach sports lovers. The white sandy beach was very nice.

It took a long time to get checked into the hotel (standing in a que for 30 mins) and after arriving at 12.30pm we could not get into our room until 3pm. Our room only provided one big bath towel so we had to request more. Checking out was also a struggle with large que in a very hot lobby and it was a 12clk check out after a 3pm check-in??. The golf course was approx a 5min walk away but yet we could not get a buggy to take us there with our clubs and bags, does not sound a big deal but in the heat of the afternoon and after queing so long it just felt like another let down for a 5 star hotel.

The restaurant by the beach is really great. Access to tennis, Golf, the driving range, walking down the beach is also fabulour.

There is little around the hotel. Prices at the hotel are expensive and hence you can easily spend more than you would have anticipated because of the costs. I would recommend for snacks or even it you want to have a pre-dinner wine, to consider taking your own.

It's a wonderful resort overal. The beach is fantastic with nice & clean water. Kids love it the most and spent quite some time there. The two swimming pool are also very nice. Not only clean, but also designed good for family fun. Especially the water slide entertained kids very much! Food is a little bit expensive but okay.

the bath tube has no full curtain (only covered half with glass). so that it's easy to mess up the floor. No free laundry facilities. So family better bring enough clothes for change.

The golf is great and reasonably priced, the swimming pools keep the kids happy and the beach is really clean empty and safe for swimming, the new beach bar was a great place to relax, the beds in the room were comfy and climate control in the rooms were good. Cost of everything way to expensive...the food is a bit hit and miss, Orzo and the Beach bar were good, Kopi-o not so. The rooms we booked were sea view but that was questionable even from the 4th floor, the bathroom was tired and it was impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom. The Polo shop sold very well made ‘replica’ shirts...tut-tut.

The sandy beach and the large pool are great, fun and various children activities.

In overall the hotel is great this was our fourth visit because we have many relatives in Bintan, yet we always had experienced that the hotel staffs are not so firendly towards local guests and it feels like we are foreigners on our own country since all the prices are in sgd, even at convinience store when we tried to buy snacks or cigarette the prices were ridicilous, way too expensive.
