Great Hospitality. great rooms. great decor. great view from the pool to the rice fields. good massages. great value for money.
A bit far from downtown
you will enjoy the tranquility of countryside in the morning with landscape of field rice and green color of the pool blends beautifully...
We liked everything in this hotel. Friendly staff, wonderful garden, great pool. They have motorbike rental.
It's quite far from the city center. About 40 min walking distance from the city center. But thanks to that it was quiet there. They provide free shuttle to the city 3 times daily. Slow wi-fi in the room, but who cares?! ;-)
Staff, breakfast, gardens, pool, peaceful - everything!
Spa treatments a little pricey compared to others in Ubud - but still awesome
Clean, comfortabele rooms with nice view on Rice fields. Friendly staff, great spa, nice pool with lovely view on Rice fields, small cosy hotel complex, about a 25 minute walk to ubud: doable otherwise you could easily catch a taxi. Very good breakfast. The hotel prepares delicious meals, served in their restaurant, in your room or at the poolside. During our stay they just opened a bar/bistro at street level. There are also various warungs and restaurants around.
Nothing, all good.
Rice field view
The breakfast choice is limited
Lovely pool and location.
When we were c/in staff were attentive give us several recommendation of restaurant. The room was on second floor. It was tranquil.but for breakfast need more variety.small buffet arrangement would be nice i think
Sometimes I prefered to remain in the hotel than doing tourism. The gardens and room are new, well cared you feel in paradise. Very sweet employees in the restaurant. Amazing breakfast.
The spa options were wonderful and totally relaxing.
Everything about this place was just perfect. The gardens, the rooms (we had a room with a view of the small rice paddies), the pool was beautiful, the restaurant was good and cheap but most of all the staff were just lovely. Especially one waitress, her name was Simen and she was the best waitress I've ever had (anywhere) and the sweetest thing.
We stayed for 5 nights but wished we'd stayed longer.
I love the view so much....really make me relax
on my first night, I cannot sleep. I don't why. But on my 2nd night, I can sleep well
Oddly enough, the room service was OK - enjoyed our meal overlooking two fields of mud.Complete with wading ducks. Very odd...The resort pool was very beautiful - but again, in a sea of mud...Why all the rice fields? I think they are overworking the agrarian resort thing. Gardens, nice. Rice, yawn. Get real, Spa Resort.
Over-zealous gardeners getting in your way all the time. (They cut the lawns, endlessly, with mini-scythes!) Really terrible food in restaurant. Pathetic, tired bathrooms. No blankets. When requested -'no big blankets'. Two seperate mosquito curtains on our king bed - nuts. OK it was a 'deal' but this was an insult. This place needs a complete re-think to bring it into the 21st century. Don't go there, even for one night.
Internet was appallingly slow. Breakfast was basic and overcrowded due to size of dining area. Taxis arranged through hotel nearly double what you pay direct through a driver.
Concept of nice nature and quite place to stay.
Slightly old and could be better if maintenance done up.
I liked the pool and traditional surroundings.
I did not like the fact that I booked a superior room with a view and they tried to put us in a little standard room near reception with no view.
Absolutely Beautiful resort Cheap restaurant
Wifi strenght Expensive spa Very limited breakfast
-The location - far away from town, so calm and peaceful, especially at night. Paddy field right in front of our balcony. But of course a lot of mosquitoes that comes with it =)
-Wifi sucks really bad.Its only available during the day. -Food - the foods are non-Halal. -Doors for entrance and toilet cannot be locked properly.
The setting amidst the paddy fields was just lovely. And it's location not too far from Ubud made it very convenient. The availability of motorbikes for rent made it easy for us to move about.
The choice of food at the restaurant is rather limited.
All the staff were wonderful and location was great
The bed of our honey moon suit was two single beds joined together and the bathroom wasn't very clean
Lovely swimming pool and very relaxing, peaceful environment. Beautiful spa and massages were very good. Useful shuttle to Ubud centre (though you'll need to get taxis back). Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town, although it it is a bit limiting in that you can't just pop to the market, and have to plan your evenings a but more carefully. The deluxe rooms are worth the extra cash. I highly recommend nearby restaurants Terracotta and Indus.
Unfortunately we were disappointed initially when we arrived as the rice paddies had recently been harvested so were basically just fields of mud. I'd asked for a superior room overlooking the rice paddies, but ended up changing to a deluxe room with garden view which was much nicer. Staff didn't have very good English and couldn't always help with your queries. Though they were always friendly. 20-25 minute walk to town centre with not very good pavements, but we knew to expect this and didn't bother us much.
Lovely room infinity pool spa facilities on site
Staff at reception a bit disinterested - not forthcoming with help or concern for sickness of my family at the time
Hospitality, good food and service at resturant, clean room, shuttle service to ubud center.
Quiet accommodation. Lovely pool area. Room was fairly spacious with great terrace attached. Only a cheap short taxi ride to main ubud area
No room service facility (if have young child not very helpful if need to eat after bedtime) Staff were a little non-existant at times, or understanding of english a bit lacking. Wifi was terrible and wouldn't connect No booklet in room explaining hotel facilities or requirements and no explanation by staff upon booking in.
the photos and web discription is different form real. disappointed!
