Very poor Hotel, when we arrived there wasn't electricity and the owner doesn't made anything... After 1 hour we go away for find another hotel. In front a busy road, very far from the city center.
If you are on my looking for a quiet and clean place to sleep, it is a very good option : hot water, nice semi-outdoor bathroom, good beds (only in superior room). But the swimming pool does not invite you to swim, the staff is not at all flexible and welcoming, you need more than one hour to get your breakfast, and at night it is quite a dead atmosphere.
The guy at the reception was friendly and willing to help us. Big bungalows with air condition and a funny artistic outdoor shower with wallpainting.
This place is quite far away from all the restaurants and bars in Sengiggi. You really need a taxi or scooter to go there. It isn't the prettiest most comfortable place but we stayed there just for one night to break our trip to the gili's
nice staff, nice pool, nice outside bathroom, we left our scooter here one week for free while being on the Gili's.
- Don't book a transfer to Bangsal here. The transfer was horrible and we missed the public ferry to Gili Meno even if we already paid for it. A taxi to Bangsal would have been much cheaper.
Friendly staff at quit location
The food was very average
Very friendly staff, with nice rooms and extremely good, vegetarian, food!
The beds are horrible. My bag (and not only in our room) hurted a lot.
Location staff bathroom food help and support from staff
The bed could be better!
Clean room, helpful staff, great location, easy access to the Gilis, beautiful beach in front of the hotel.
The pool was dirty.
STAFF were very helpful and friendly
EVERYTHING... 1. Requested AIRPORT pickup via email, however no one was there 2. POOL was empty for the entire 7 days of my stay 3. Upon arrival, was given STANDARD ROOM, instead of DELUXE 4. MATTRESS in room 6 sunk to the base, no springs 5. PILLOWS rock hard 6. After eating from restaurant, was very ill and had to go to HOSPITAL!!! Still charged for the meal!!! 7. Free BREAKFAST was only toast & coffee, no fruit or juice...
Well, it is a nicely secluded, relatively quiet place that tries to be somewhat stylish. The staff was helpful in arranging a trip to the Senaru waterfalls; the restaurant is good and the laundry service was straightforward.
This is most definitely NOT a 3*, not even by their own entrance sign. It tries to be stylish, but falls short. No major problem, just lots of small issues: room is dark, lights are dim and mismatched, toiletries are very limited and not replenished, the bed was slanted toward the center, wifi reception didn't reach my room. The complimentary breakfast is extremely modest - two pieces of toast & jam, you're better off paying for a proper meal. The pool was drained throughout my stay, while the nearby beaches are not well accessible and abounding in garbage. This means that every activity requires a taxi ride elsewhere.
The rooms are spacious, with comfortable big beds and beautiful wallpaintings in the bathrooms. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The vegetarian restaurant served amazing food.
The wifi doesnt work in the rooms. Breakfast was very simple, only toast with jam.
Only the lowest rang staff who tried to do the best but there was no way to save their boss decisions!
Everything! Never really complained much about a place but this one... The worst I ve ever stayed in. The first thing they give you is the bill for you to sign, so they charge the credit card without telling you or without you being present. Not even good morning, they just come to you and sign here. And they chase you if you don'T... Till the point of blocking your room with your stuff inside. Be carefull! No wifi!!! Works sometimes in the so called restaurant. So called because there's no restaurant... And breakfast is a piece of bread and butter and some coffee or tea. Bed is terrible and makes you have to go to a massage everyday because of back pain. Air COn is so noisy and water falls in the room. The swimming pool is so dirty that you don't really feel like to swim in there. Its far away from everything. They say they have a driver, well some of them, but then the driver is sick or finnally they don t have one anymore. You are far away from everything... No sea view no nothing!!! A field full of garbage in front of the hotel. The so called manager in place doesn't speak english and is so arrogant that just knows the word pay or you don't enter your room and screaming! We missed the first night of the booking because of flight cancelation, and asked for their comprehension. No comprehension! They say they couldn't use the room, lying because when we got there we had to wait because the room was being used! But they charged us the night anyway. Not honest! Avoid this place... To all cost!!!
Location: Good if you rent a motorbike, 10 minutes to Sengigi along a beautiful road Bedroom: Spacious, bit outdated, only one outlet. Bed is perfect if you wanna lay really close to each other, it is curved like a banana. Overall: Spacious, beautiful location, but that's the whole area around Senggigi.
Breakfast: Poor, two toasts with pineapple jam and butter. With coffee or tea. Swimming pool: Empty. When we arrived the pool was empty. They told us it was being filled in the afternoon. Next day: Still empty. As we speak it is being filled with two garden hoses. There is now 20 cm of water in it, pretty safe if you have small children. We adressed the issues we had, and there was no apology or compensation whatsoever. That should be in line because we paid for an accommodation with swimming pool. Overall: Outdated, no menus at restaurant, the whole hotel needs a big facelift. For the Dutch: Vergane glorie. The 3 stars on Booking is not accurate, they advertise with two while it should be one. It doesn't have the facilities to qualify as a hotel, it should be called a homestay instead.
• big rooms • outside shower • restaurant • nice garden with pool
• cold water •wlan wasn't working all the time • far from the center
Service is ok
OK hotel, The bed is horrible
Quiet, good coffee, nice pool, value for money
Ordinary breakfast, no mini refrigerator in the room
the manager/owner is good woman, she wants to help or receiving your complaint.
There is old hotel. Receptionist/staff office so far from room, if you call them by phone they seldom to pick up. Water out from AC so they request us move to other room after overnight the air conditioning dripping water, No WiFi in room as their said in Booking.com, be careful they deduct your card without your confirmation before you come to the hotel. Not good for backpacker because far from everywhere, only taxi as transportation, staff not honest (he didn't give back the money when you ask his help to buy food although the price less than money you give him, because hotel far from food place)
Lovely pool and setting, relaxed atmosphere, good pots of coffee, Ingrid was helpfuland friendly
Compared to previous visits, the pool was not very clean, breakfast used to be much better than it is now
very friendly staff clean nice bathroom with hot water nice room swimmingpool nice garden
far from the nightlife, need to take a taxi no restaurant poor breakfast
Just about everything - the location, the value ofr money, the quiet atmosphere, the pots of good coffee, the 'artistic' showers
No refirgerators in the rooms
-rooms were clean and spacious -Alan I think his name is was very nice, he even took us back to lombok with him on his day off with a car we rented. We met his lovely family, went to a hidden waterfall, went to kota beach, climbed a hill to get best view of beach and saw a traditonal stick fighting competition which happens once a year apparently.
-far from everything -hotel restaurant was closed for a month when we arrived because the manager decided to send the cook on holiday as it was quiet. Was not good for us as there is no restaurants near by. -Have to rent a moped to go anywhere. The sengigi central was atleast a 15min ride -wifi was very very poor -Staff hardly spoke english and even alan could barely speak it.
