Was clean, on Monkey Forest Road at the southern edge, very close to Monkey Forest itself. Nice gardens and pool. Staff were friendly. Breakfast had good coffee. Umbrellas for use and friendly staff.

Didn't have parking as promised, had to park on street which was extremely busy and often bumper to bumper. Scooters might have squeezed in the lane. Can't blame the hotel for it, but two very annoying families at the same time as us made it not the most peaceful place to relax!

They have really created a paradise (the garden!) away from the busy street. Swimming pool and sunbeds were good. The room was quite big, had a nice balcony, a minibar (reasonably priced) and a comfy bed. For the first time in Bali, we had a shower curtain. Also there were toothbrushes, toothpaste and shower caps. Breakfast was good.

Every night, only after we had turned off the lights we were visited by a About dozen big ants, we didn't figure out where they were coming from but it might have something to do with the front door not closing fully (it would lock but there was a gap). You don't hear the road or clubs but the hotel next door had a few loud guests late at night. (Only 3 of 11 rooms are next to it)

Cable tv was good, comfy bed, great location, staff helped book transport no problems, lovely garden.

As with others, took a long time to find and was walking up and down the street in the heat looking for the sign. A better map on the hotel listing would help.

    The staff is helpful.

There is no mini electric kettle to boil water.

I like the location through a small aisle, it's so insteresting... And after the aisle, there's a garden with 11 rooms. Nice... Everything I like it here. Swimming pool, room, garden... ok for me.

Just boring with the breakfast and the water from shower is so small

The room is very clean, the sheets very soft and there was a nice balcony. The room is good looking and very spacey. I can recommend a room on the first floor. The swimming pool was nice and clean with a nice gardenview. There were a lots of monkeys, but the staff took care of your safety. The location is perfect! In the middle of Ubud. This hotel is worth it to visit!

My family and I had a memorable and amazing stay at this hotel. Just hidden behind the main street, the hotel was overall comfortable, clean and quite(although our room walls required some renovating works). The staffs were all very kind and attentive. The hotel had a really wonderful garden and large swimming pool. A unique experience to see monkeys walking on the roofs and jumping around the trees in the morning.... Location was just prefect, not too far from Monkey Forest and walking distance to other places like Ubud palace & Ubud market and nice restaurants nearby. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

Lovely big room with comfortable bed, good AC, balcony and lovely swimming pool. Despite being set back off monkey forest road it was beautifully peaceful. The odd monkey in the garden was amusing. Staff only too eager to please and offered tours if required.

The only minor niggle was there was no bath screen so when you used the shower the water went all over the floor which made it very sloppy. Oh and they need a new and bigger hotel sign as it took us ages to find the place and the locals kept sending us to puri muwa.

staff was nice; nice pool area and garden.

Breakfast less that average- staff would not assist us in getting a taxi that uses a taxi meter

The perfect place to relax! We really enjoyed our stay here. I got quiet sick in Ubud, but the staff was so helpful in making me feel better. They helped us finding medical assistance, to stay longer in our room, and even came to the hospital to bring me breakfast! They were so kind and involved, I think it was the best and most friendly hotel staff I ever met. Apart from this, The rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious with sufficient choice. Nice pool as well, beautiful garden and occasionally a monkey on the doorstep. We loved it!!

Quiet frankly cant think of anything, perhaps WiFi could be a bit faster although reception was good!

Very friendly staff. Big nice room, great beautiful pool. You are actually 2-3 minutes walking distance to the monkey forest. Once we even had 2 monkey not far away from the pool :) ATM, supermarket, everything is nearby. Breakfast is nice and a la card, never experienced this before. You can choose between different eggs with toast or pancakes, a juice and a tea or coffee. Good wifi. We really really enjoyed our stay here. Would come again, next time in Bali.

We were very pleased with this accommodation and really had a very pleasant stay at Bumi Muwa. The location is central (although a little bit difficult to find in the beginning because it is down a small alley behind the shops that face the front on Jalan Monkey Forest - most of the accommodation is situated like this, because of the rice paddies, etc) But once you know where it is, it is actually so central and a good walking distance to most of the main tourist sites as well as the big Coco Supermarket. The garden and swimming pool area are so beautiful and they clean the area on a regular basis. Every day we ordered our choice of breakfast for the next morning in advance. The food was always very tasty and freshly made. We just loved the fresh fruit, smoothies and pancakes. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. They even arranged a private driver for us for our next trip to Sanur. We will definately recommend Bumi Muwa to every tourist visiting Ubud. Our best wishes accompany the young and friendly staff members of this excellent accommodation.

The fact that we have to leave and to say good bye!!

The hotel was a little gem and we had an amazing stay. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the photos online didn't quite capture how nice it really was. The location was great and easy to get everywhere, and we had no problems with Monkeys waking us up in the morning like in other reviews. The gardens and pool were beautiful. Breakfast was really yummy too with fruit smoothies and banana pancakes. The staff were very attentive and looked after everything for us. Very impressed overall!!

It is a little tricky to find the hotel when you arrive, so have the hotels phone number for your driver to make it easier

great location and fantastic staff. very helpful and always smiling. would stay again for sure if u need a budget hotel and u r out rest of day. Lunch and dinner is not in hotel but lots of places to eat on the same street so not an also 7-11 type stores all within seconds for any basic needs.

at times monkey issue but that is only very early morning but staff ensures they are kept away

Great location, no more than a 10 minute walk anywhere you'd want to go. The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. Breakfast is simple but tasty and the pool was great with comfortable loungers. I originally booked for 1 week but ended up staying for 2.

Only that the monkeys woke me up many mornings playing on the roof and patio but if you stay on monkey forest road that's going to happen! Just bring ear plugs.
