The atmosphere of Casa Artista is brilliant! We loved our room, the pool, food and the staff. And we learned the basics of the tango as the owner is a huge fan of this dance. In the evening the bar is used to play and dance the tango. We also loved it that the hotel is not in downtown Seminyak.

Not near a beach

Staff was very friendly, very-very nice dog :) very tasty breakfast which was served on the terrace! Room was big and nice, we had sofa on the terrace. Every wednesday and friday you can attend free tango lessons

Location (you have to walk 15 min to the central street); Towels were old and not very clean

The location, the size and the Value for money

Quite liked the idea of having breakfast served on the patio outside our room

They had in house "tango" lessons on a Wednesday and Friday and this lasted well into the night, great if that is what you book the hotel for but we did not and were not told about this before booking!

The ambience, privacy, location and price

Incredibly helpful and kind staff, from Manager Nyoman down to the chefs and maids. The pool is nice but not Olympic sized!!! Only 25 meters long and narrow, but clean.

Out of the way unless you have transport (which in this case means motor- cycle! )Also the hotel is plagued by mosquitos and I could not detect any attempts to identify the source of the invasion! And whilst the manager assured me the beach was "300 meters" away, it was actually more then a kilometer (but, perhaps, 300 meters as the crow flies but this would make it necessary to scale the fence into the Oberoi hotel.)

Really nice and relaxing environment as soon as you walk in the front doors. The rooms were quite spacious and well decorated.

Quite difficult to find if you dont know where you are going. Even though I'd asked for directions ahead of time, which I gave to the taxi driver, we still have difficulties finding the place.

The friendliness and the ambiance

Lovely hotel, delicious breakfasts, pleasant, quiet atmosphere. It's off the beaten track, which makes for a relaxing night's sleep, but you might want to hire a scooter. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach, and more like 15 or 20 to the trendy shops and restaurants. Alternatively taxis in Bali are metered and ridiculously cheap.

I love the relaxing atmosphere and that it is such a quaint place to stay in. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice to stay in, and I also love that breakfast was brought to our rooms every morning. Dito, the dog, is also super adorable!

It's a bit of a walk to the beach, and there's no room service after 11pm.

It is a small hotel and very charming

the location was good

the breakfast was not very good, only few options to choose. the toilet wasnt flushing properly in our room and the were lots of bugs inside as there is an open window in the bathroom. i also felt at times that some of the staff werent genuinly friendly. i would not stay again in this hotel.

Personalet var hyggelig og behjelpelig til en hver tid. Rommet var delikat innredet med høy komfort. Det var virkelig luksus å bli servert frokost på vår egen lille terrasse. Hotellet ligger i et rolig strøk, noe som er behagelig da Seminyak kan være noe bråkete. Det var likevel gåavstand til shoppingstrøk og strand.

Rustige ligging, kleinschalig complex. Een gevoel van thuiskomen. Lekker ontbijt.

Voor die prijs verwacht je b.v een fohn en een waterkoker op je kamer.

L'originalité du lieu, la grandeur de notre chambre (la dernière à l'étage, au dessus de la piscine), le petit déjeuner amené directement sur la terrasse devant la chambre...

Le charme de la maison de type colonial et familiale, 10 chambres eulement, une petite piscine mais très belle et suffisante avec la plage à 10 minutes à pied. Ne pas y aller si on déteste le tango car qqs soirées par semaine il y a des cours de danse de tango.

Fuori dal traffico e comunque vicino alla bella spiaggia e al centro. Buona anche la colazione.

Salle de bain trés spacieuse, excellent petit déjeuner servi en terrasse.

La chambre sentait l'humidité, la décoration un peu lourde.

Chaque semaine ils font une soiree danse avec grosse sono impossible Dormir avant minuit. Les chambres sont faites apres reclamation dans l'apres midi

Lugar calmo

Provavelmente durante a limpeza de quartos, alguém mexeu na bolsa da minha namorada e abriu a carteira espalhando todos os documentos pela bolsa. Não roubaram porque não tinha dinheiro na carteira.

Es bellísimo, de un gusto exquisito y con un servicio excelente,lo único que se encuentra en una calle privada de complicado acceso y difícil de encontrar. Además hay que caminar bastante para llegar a la playa, aproximadamente entre 10 y 15 cuadras. O para ir a comer al centro tienes que tomar taxi. A nosotras no nos molestó y el lugar nos encantó pero es a tener en cuenta.
