Ehm... the pancakes
Dirty, no furniture at all, insects, the door couldn't close
the panoramic view from the restaurant, on the rice-fields and the mountain. the food,
no water at all times, only cold water
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Tetebatu is nice to walk in the rice fields, or to the waterfall, or to experience a small Lombok village. Staff played songs in the evening with their guitars, (guest were invited to join them) it was a nice evening which made our stay in Tetebatu memorable. Good diner and breakfast.
Besides walking to the waterfall or in the rice fields there is nothing much to do in Tetebatu. The room and the bed was not so clean and a little dark and smelly. Therefore the room is a little bit too expensive. If you like clean rooms without the possibility to find an insect during the night, dont go here. But for adventure it is OK, we did not regret it in the end.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Please go there. I was there with my sister for three nights (two young girls) and we were really sad when we had to leave. The rooms are okay. There is a very nice terrace with a beautiful view and the meals are delicious and also very cheap. Tetebatu is a lovely place and Cendrawasih Cottages is a good accommodation if you want to discover the area and the rice fields. Several young boys work there and they are really kind. They took us on their motorbikes to show us the other Sasak villages and the views (really cheap). One of them walked with us through the rice fields to the waterfall (great walk, really beautiful). They are really kind and they want you to be happy and have a good time. At night they sing Sasak songs for you with their guitars (great experience). It is a very cheap accommodation, so don't expect luxury. But in Tetebatu you don't need luxury. There is wifi in another hotel close to Cendrawasih Cottages. We had dinner in the Green Orry and that place js just awful. The atmosphere at Cendrawasih Cottages is just really great. There were also lots of other guests and they loved it as much as we did.
The rooms are not luxurious, but they contain everything you need. It was not very clean, but there were no insects.
