Cipta Hotel  

Location. It locates in central area of Jakarta. From the Cipta, you can reach the Monus (Monument Nasional) and the Plaza Murdeka within 10 minuits' walk. In neibourhood of the hotel, you can find a lot of street food shops, small restaurants and super markets, so you will not find any difficulty to eat lunch or dinner. The equipment of the guest room is normal. It is sure that the atmosphere of the room must have not changed since 1970's, but it is kept clean and the air conditioner functions good. I will recommend you the Cipta Hotel, except the taxis service to the airport (see my comment below!).

The taxi service to the airport which arrange the Cipta for me give me an awful experience. That was worst experience which I had in Indonesia. When I left hotel, I asked the receptionist of the hotel to call taxi. But, in spite of calling taxi, they recommended me to use a taxi, which was already waiting guest in front of the hotel. It was a taxi of TAXIKUs. They said that it may cost around Rp150,000- from Hotel to the airport. I don't know exactly how much does it cost normally, but I think I will pay according to the meter, and I took the taxi they recommended. After an hour's ride of the taxi, I reached the airport. I saw the meter. It showed that it costed Rp90,250-, so I would pay the driver Rp90,250-. But he insited that I should pay Rp150,000-, because he should pay Rp50,000 fee for the Cipta. I couldn't understand it and couldn't accept it. We quarreled with each other for a while. The drivr would not yield and at last threatened me. I feared it and forced to pay Rp150,000-. It was terrible experience for me. Lesson: do not use the taxiku which is waiting for guests in front of the hotel. You should ask the reception to call blue bird or silver bird.

Good location (close to the National Monument) and external look of the building (asiatic style). Main hall is tidy and quite modern. Very nice Indonesian breakfast and restaurant. Nice choice but only for short stay.

Rooms are old and small, everywhere you can feel moisture. Bathrooms are very basic and quite untidy. View from the window is not encouraging.

Outside of the building looks unique.Photo of room didn't show up the fact,room are old and smelly...hot water didn't working,can hear the outside traffic and lift noise when in room unless move further in ...Bed are old and spirng was loose(very bouncing for double bed).Breakfast extra charge $5 for kids.

They had 4pm check out for new years which is a excellent idea.

No tiene internet ! no internet! Solo en el lobby ni funciona es super lento!!! El cuarto normal pequeño el desayuno no me gusto para nada! Lo unico productivo es la mermelada y el pan y agua. Pone su pollo pura cascara y nada d carne no me gusto para nada! En su menu te cobran lo que gastas mas impuesto! Y supuestamente tenes el 30 % descuento y es mentira! Solo sirve para quedarte 1 noche y nada mas!

La posizione e la gentilezza del personale.

La colazione di tipo "continentale" (europeo) è decisamente insufficiente, anzi quasi inesistente.

ジャカルタ中心部に位置しサリナデーパートのある通り沿いで、夜は屋台が立ち並び人通りも比較的あるので、- 一人で歩いていても比較的安全ではあると思います。ホテルのスタッフも非常に気さくで、荷物預かりなどの融- 通をきかせてくれます。シャワーもしっかりお湯が出ますし、ワイヤーハンガーが常備されているので、長期滞- 在時の洗濯にも便利でした。

朝食メニューのバリエーションがなく、毎日フルーツとローカルフードが多少といった感じでした。

Situation géographique, proximité du centre ville.

Le bruit extérieur, dans la rue, en soirée, surtout que la vitre de notre chambre était partiellement cassée.
