Located along the shores of Sanur Beach, the Besakih Beach Hotel features a private beach area. In tropical gardens, it features an outdoor pool and provides massage services.
Score from 250 reviews Good
Modeled after a traditional Balinese village, Segara Village Hotel in Sanur offers villas surrounded by tropical gardens. This beachfront hotel features 3 outdoor pools and free Wi-Fi in public areas....
Score from 40 reviews Excellent
Located in the heart of Sanur, Aquarius Beach Hotel is set amidst lively art shops and restaurants. It is a 2-minute walk from Sindhu Beach and offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 51 reviews Very good
Enjoy an island escape at Bay Shore Huts, which provides amazing views of the sea.
Score from 377 reviews Very good
I liked the location, the gardens and the staff. The bed was very comfortable. I like the philosophy of conserving water and energy.
I think there needs to be some renovations or at least some painting. We had a dreadful smell in our bathroom on two occasions however to give the staff credit they were very prompt in trying to solve this.
Enjoyed the fantastic location, right on the beach and about 20 minutes walk from the Sanur main areas like Hardy's supermarket, other hotels etc.
Cleanliness was a bit below par- even in the more expensive villa bathrooms breakfast was with limited options and not varied much
Close to fast boat departure for island trips.
The private pool villas are beautiful, not sure I would have wanted to stay there if we didn't have the private pool as the hotel pool is pretty basic with very little space to sit around it. There weren't many staff around to help/ serve drinks during the day.
The resort has a beautiful location, grounds, fabulous breakfast and helpful staff. Very quiet and relaxing setting. We loved the Balinese feel rather than staying at big modern high rise hotel.
We were disappointed with the 2 hour massage we booked and paid for but only received 1 hour and a half.
It's perfectly located if you're looking to stay right on the beach. Most of the staff is lovely and super helpful. They surprised us with an upgrade to a private villa with a pool--so special! The grounds are lush and pretty. They give you everything you need--toiletries, beach towels, chair cushions...And the breakfast had good choices and was plentiful! Also, across the street are some good restarants and a place for a great $5 massage. We liked it so much we came back at the end of the trip to stay again for our last days in Bali.
One of the rooms had an ant problem. The hotel is situated at the very end of town so you need to walk the promenade or the streets to get to the center. Which is fine if staying right on the beach is your priority...
Great staff, beautiful gardens, lovely clean rooms
I did like my well furnished room and the secluded garden with private pool shared by 3 rooms.
The bath room needs a touch up at the leaking taps.
On the beach!
The burger was not good but the other food was good.
Very friendly hotel and the staff couldn't do enough for you
The locatiin is good closed to beach and other tour places
No thing bad
The nearest hotel to sanur beach
I order via booking.com hotel the deluxe room that has sofa bed but cannot get what I want but after I show what has been stated in that voucher finally. I can get it
the lush gardens and furnishings made you feel like you were in a tropical paradise. the villas are amazing and having your own private pool if you choose not to use the large hotel pool was romantic and full of privacy.the food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic and great prices.
I cannot say that there is anything i can complain about and i would not hesitate to stay there again.
Quiet spot on beach walkway. Lovely gardens. Staff friendly. Decent breakfast.
Forget the spa. Most dreadful massage which is unusual fir Bali. Dinner was really disappointing.
Friendly staff and beautiful environment.
That end of Sanur beach is crowded and a landing place for boats from Nusa Lembongen. If I was not there to get on a boat I would not pick it for the beach.
Staff very helpful and welcoming, special mention for Made in the restaurant and both pool men. Positioned right on the beach, and about a twenty minute walk along the beach to Sanur town for shops and restaurants. Rooms basic but adequate. Have been to this hotel several times and always enjoy our stay. Food is improving but is expensive (tax and service charge increases listed prices by 21%)
Restaurant appearance could be improved with the use of tablecloths and cloth napkins - would also differentiate it from beach bars where the prices are a lot cheaper.
Highly recommended. Love this place. C u again!
One of the reception staff tried hard to find me the best room available.
Dark characterless rooms, grey bed linen, very dated brown and yellow bathroom, plastic leatherette terrace chairs and breakfast felt like I was at a holiday camp.
Location to beach
Dirty towels and bathroom needed updating
Location was good, breakfast included was good with good views of Sanur reef and beach from resturant.
Security box did not work and was told will get fixed next day but never did.
Great location, very nice combination of comfort with the room, private swimming pool, lots of services in the hotel, beach life and the all atmosphere around. You can book a rafting excursion of very good quality, you can have a great swim in the sea, gaze at the sea life during the low tide, have a entertaining walk at the promenade. We stayed for the second time here and we will definitely come again. It feels like very welcome for us here.
The restaurant is very good, however the time before we could use a discount as a hotel guests. This time it was only for one meal.
The resort is situated just opposite the walkway along the beach area. From our room it was only 20 m to the swimming pool and 50 m to the beach! Absolutely wonderful! It has a nice holiday feeling when sitting in the restaurant having breakfast to look out on to the sea. Buffet breakfast was very good and tasty with a huge variety of food. All the rooms are like individual kind of bungalows in the garden. The small veranda in front of the bungalow gives a nice homely feeling to the accommodation. The AC is like a lifesaver in this part of the world with such high temperatures and humidity! Double rooms are spacious and comfortable with more than enough cupboards to pack away your clothes and belongings. There is also a few mini markets just up the road (200 m) from the resort which is very convenient. The departure point for the speedboats to Lembongan Island is only about 250 m from the resort, although the company has a free pick-up service available. We just loved our stay at Diwangkara and will recommend it to fellow travelers who want to stay in Sanur.
The mattresses of the twin beds in our double room were really worn out and not in a good condition any more. Management must budget to replace these old mattresses with new ones.
The location, the room size, the simple breakfast
Very outdated room, not clean. Towels are grey and smell bad. Room I had was very noisy from plant and equipment noise outside the bathroom window and dark and damp.
Very dated curtaqins could easily be cleaned The bath could have done with a decent clean
We liked room 118 and the staff in general were very nice. Lack of management care.
Unfortunately I was forced to contact yourselves reference this booking during my stay. My Husband and I were put into a room which was supposed to be the one booked it did have a small private pool but the room was far too small and we felt disappointed. The bathroom was dirty around the shower and it did not empty correctly. My Husband complained to the reception but it was not addressed in the first two days. Fate intervened and on the evening of day two the bathroom door locked from the inside and we called reception to open the door. Security arrived and stated that they did not have a key to fit the door until the next morning when housekeeping came on duty at 8.00 am. The adjoining door was opened to the next villa for us to use the toilet during the night. When I saw the adjoining villa I knew this was the room that I had booked in March 2012 from the illustrated pictures and I felt angry. At 9.00 am the next morning there the housekeeping staff had not arrived to open the bathroom door and my Husband went into reception to tell them that we were not pleased and that the adjoining room was in fact the room that we should have been allocated. Reception agreed that we should move into number 118 from 119 and we had the inconvenience of moving our belongings. For the last two days we were very happy with room 118 but I do feel that as this room was booked in March 2012 very disappointed that we were allocated such a small room when I had expected the very best in the hotel. I sent my complaint to you from my Ipad but unfortunately was unable to access calls on my Iphone therefore I gave my Husbands mobile number but you did not call us on that number for me to explain the situation. We had no apology from the management and I was advised that you had called the hotel from the receptionist on day three.
