Edu Hostel  

We stayed for only 2 nights but we were very satisfied. It's very clean, new, cool design, relatively good a position not far from the kraton, the area seems safe, security guards in the lobby(!), traditional (interesting to try) or western (toast and jelly) breakfast included, tea and water free of charge, elevators to floors, key cards for rooms, a high-tech japanese-style toilet and two showers with shampoo and shower gel inside our 6-bed room, comfortable beds with linen, huge lockers next to beds with electrical sockets inside, working air conditioning, a good common area with many internet computers and wifi, open leisure room over the reception, with a tv and even guitars. And very very nice staff, helped us with planning our crazy-schedule trip, ordered a taxi at about 1 in the morning for leaving at 4.30 to borobudur and prambanan and even though we asked for a big one for 5 and came a van with only 4 seats, they wanted to arrange a change. In the end we didn't want to wait, they helped us handle a better price and we survived. Satoshi who was there on the other night shift was amazing, we had a great talk and he helped a lot with further planning. At our departure the whole staff were incredible and we felt almost like leaving family.

Just some details - like the sink in the bathroom looks cool but you need to take care so that water doesn't come out, hangers for clothes in the bathroom would be nice, wifi only in the lobby, need a bit of a walk or a taxi ride to the city center but we didn't really search for other transport - the area looks safe and the walk at night was ok. And some of the staff couldn't speak much english but they were so nice and sorry that they couldn't help and there was always somebody who spoke english well enough

Untuk kamar cukup puas, untuk breakfast agar ditingkatkan.

Romo 417 kami menginap, agak terganggu dengan suara2 yang timbul seperti bunyi pompa dirasakan sangat menganggu.

- lokasi yang cukup baik dan dekat ke pusat kota (malioboro & alun-alun). - kenyamanan dan keramah-tamahan karyawan - harga sesuai dengan budget kami, meski di waktu high season

- fasilitas untuk anak agak kurang, jadi selain bermain diruang atas receptionis, praktis anak kami hanya bermain di kamar. - sebaiknya dipisah ruang utk breakfast antara tamu biasa dengan rombongan. Karena kami agak sedikit "kurang nyaman" dengan keributan yg ditimbulkan dari rombongan. Yang kami inginkan tentu saja kenyamanan dan ketenangan selama menginap di hostel. - Breakfast-nya menurut kami kurang, perlu ditingkatkan.
