We got upgraded to a better room. Our friends, which we booked in the same booking, did not get the same upgrade us we did. And we got a 'no show' confirmation from the hotel which we had to correct with booking. |

The hotel was lovely, welcoming and comfortable. The security was excellent and the staff were absolutely beautiful. Aoki restaurant was a favourite spot. The hotel is walking distance to Blok M and Pasaraya which gave us the chance to get out and see some of the real Jakarta. My daughter cried when we left, she didn't want to leave her friends. I miss sitting by the rooftop pool at sunset listening to the call to prayer. Jakarta is a magnificent, dynamic place and Gran Mahakam is a great place to experience it from. |

A nice hotel very near the Blok M plaza which makes it easy to get out and about. Restaurants in the hotel are good and the staff are freindly. The fitness centre is in a small room in the basement of the hotel, but has good equipment and okay for up to about 5 people at one time. The swimming pool area is small, although is kept clean and tidy. There are only 5 sunbeds, so not always available. The hotel charges Rp 300,000 for a taxi from airport. You can book a blubird taxi yourself for Rp190,000. A bluebird taxi back to the airport was only Rp120,000. |

It was pleasant бассеин with a kind on a city and massage. In numbers for smokers windows do not open. It would be desirable more than fresh rest and exit possibility on a balcony. |

A good hotel in a convenient location. The room and particularly the bathroom showed a few signs of wear and tear which shouldn't be evident in an hotel that classifies itself as 5 star. Having said that, it wasn't serious and overall I liked the room. The staff were efficient and helpful. At the price I think the Gran Mahakam represents good value for money and I would probably stay there again, especially if they adopt a more reasonable policy with regards to internet usage. Overpriced internet - Approx 10USD per hour or 20USD for 24 hours. Out of line with comparable hotels. |

The complimentary arrival drink at the check in counter and fruits in the room. I like the design of the hotel very much...it is very classic european style...this is the only hotel in Jakarta with such design all around. Food at the cafe was also excellent. The hotel gives a comfortable home feeling. |

The location was great and everyone knew the address. Stuff were very friendly. the bed was really comfortable. While booking, I requested a room with 2 beds, but they gave me a room with a single bed. After complaining, they asked me to pay for the other bed (which i refused). since i had mentioned that in my booking confirmation adn the hotel stuff did not pay attention (finally i got a small room with 2 different type beds) |

This hotel is great and gives you feeling of being relaxed. The rooms are spacious and well equiped. The staff of the hotel is very proffesional, polite and helpful. The hotel is close to main shopping malls and night clubs. The price is completely adequate for provided service. |

Stayed for 2nights, I am truly fascinated by the delicate sevice and the bright smily staff members. The food was fantastic and there are lots of cozy & delicious restaurant nearby. And I guarantee this hotel is one of the best boutique hotels in Jakarta. Highly recommended! |

The style, very nice interior with a lot attention to detail. Good size. Nice pool. Cute/ pretty rooms. Wifi was outrageously expensive. The gym was very small. No outdoor bar, the pool closed at 9pm. No chance to eat outside. |
