The room was very spacious and light (we were on the 1st floor), bathroom was clean and had small stones on the floor, very nice! For breakfast you have a choice between eggs, pancakes and milk&muesli, the omelette in particular was great! Staff was helpful, they rented us a scooter/moped and always greeted us with a smile!
The location is a downside - it's very close to a mosque and the loud prayers wake you up every morning at 4am. Wi-fi is a little patchy, too.Spa was unfortunately closed in November.
The hotel is very small and intimate. Very clean, lovely personal touches, great staff and nice swimming pool area. Couldn't really fault this place. Would def return, shame about lombok itself! I would suggest 2-3 nights here. I really loved the brekfast and DVD collection in the rooms. Really lovely 2 night stay here.
It was more pricey than other similar places on the strip. However, I think it was actually worth the extra for the comfort and out of the way feeling. Not the place to meet other travellers like most small hotels.
Friendly staff. Bathrooms.
Double beds only
Friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, minibar, working air con and WiFi.. Scooter rental possible
Mosque close by
Nice room - well furnished Friendly staff Free DVDs is a nice touch
V small pool Wifi slow Breakfast charges for extras A bit of a walk to the beach No safety box in room No door between bedroom and bathroom
Beautiful rooms, especially the bathroom. A lot of towels in different sizes and shampoo, glasses etc. Breakfast was delicious and varied. There's even a gym you can use. Nice and cosy hotel with very helpful staff. We had some accidents with our feet and had to go to a doctor. The owner of the hotel called a doctor for us en one of her staff members brought us there. They were really caring and also got us foo d at the hotel. Very generous and hospitable.
They website and booking.com say there's a spa and relax room with xBox etc. It's not there, they said they were working on it.
Very comfortable bed, spa design bathroom, TV plus DVD player and range of movies to watch, good wifi connection, walking distance to numerous bars
A little pricey
great room Nice bathroom Ok breakfast Good scooter Friendly staff
expensive compared to the services and facilities provided. ac was not working very well
We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms and one of the double bedrooms. The deluxe room was lovely and light. The difference between the two mainly comes down windows and level you are on. But essentially both rooms were comfortable, clean and the bonus of having tea and coffee in your room was nice. We loved the bath rooms in both rooms and the female receptionist couldn't do more to help us with our stay. Scot the owner was also very friendly and introduced himself when we arrived. I have read reviews about complaints about the pool. It's not massive, but photos provided of it gave no illusion that it is huge. Secondly, we've also read complaints about building work and the mosque. Don't come to Kuta Lombok if you don't want to be around an area that is in the beginnings of becoming more tourist friendly as there are new builds everywhere! Also, there's a lot of Muslims so there will be the prayer call heard throughout Kuta, Lombok. This shouldn't be a shock! Finally, breakfast was yummy!
The music by the pool/eating area. Maybe change it from 80's porn saxophone to something else?!
the badroom was beautiful and the small pool relaxing
the loudspeakers of the different mosques.
The staff made all the difference here. They answered all my emails in great English, they arranged for airport transfers for me (even when I was on my way to another hotel!) they had scooters on site to rent immediately for a fair price and they were always happy to help.
the pool area isn't much of an area...just a pool surrounded by a wall and some tables where you'd have breakfast. Some other hotels in the area have better pools if that is important to you.
small swimming pool, pretty and calm clean room friendly staff
The manager does not answer to any of your greetings. Besides, she asked for 1,5 night cash advance 3 weeks before we arrived whereas it was not writen on booking. When we arrived, the 1st thing she asked was to pay the balance of our 3 nights, which is never the case in other hotels. We were a little chocked by her behavior.
Nothing - it was terrible
This hotel is terrible. First of all they asked by email for a deposit when I already gave my credit card details through booking. During our stay there (4 nights) from the second day we had people from the staff coming to us (instructed by the manager) at every time asking not in a nice way: "can you pay, can you pay". No one told us when we arrived that the payment was up front and we were treated like we will go away without paying. Not a nice treatment for the guest. With regards to breakfast it was suppose to be included but from the menu ( that had only 4 choice) you were forced to chose only between pancake (badly cooked) or cereal. There was also fresh fruits which you had to pay extra (fresh fruits in. Indonesia is so cheap I cannot believe that they could do a nice bowl of fruits included in the breakfast price! Ridiculous!!) the same happened with the juice. The free one was orange juice and it was not fresh rather the cheapest that you can get. So every day we had two slice of bread with jam( they took the whole bottle so you had to take it from where someone else took it the day before, not very clean indeed!!!). The bed sheets and duvet was smelling so bad that we had to ask to be changed and there was no hot water for two nights! The bathroom has no window so you cannot ever dry your clothes! Compared to other hotels which they took us a welcome drink and a nice breakfast this one is ridiculously expensive and the service is very very bad!
The place was nice. Love the breakfast. Nice staff
Maybe to open restaurant for dinner option as the location quite far from restaurants in kuta
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Hotel was quaint and never crowded. Great value for money.
A quant stay with excellent staff
5-minute walk to the beach, standard place to stay in, nothing exceptional
Room was clean, staff helpful, good location
Motorbikes which were available for hire not well maintained, had a few flat tyres on the way.
Staff were fantastic n went out of their way to ensure out stay was enjoyable.when they fnd out my husband was ill they went n got him coconut water. They assisted us with bag storage n getting to the airport. Banana pancakes n cappuccino for breakfast topped it off. Room wad superbly clean n well presented.
Nowhere to lounge by punge pool bt it wasnt a big deal.
Room and bathroom were nice and comfy (apart from damp, see negative comments), staff were friendly and helpful, it is situated a bit apart from the main part of Kuta so not too loud/busy, breakfast was good.
Room had a very strong smell of damp, this is likely due to the bathroom floor which is pebbled - while this looks great, it obviously causes some drainage problems, and I don't like to think of all the festering germs and dirt left in there by previous guests....
Nice rooms, very nice bathroom.
Can be noisy at times, as there was some building going on even in the evenings and the swimming pool is right next to the rooms.
Room and bathroom were nice and clean. Staff is very friendly.
Location is more about 10 minutes walk from the beach. Mosque next to the hotel ensures waking up before 5am every day, which was driving us a bit crazy. Hotel had power issues one day and the other day our AC was not working. We have informed hotel staff about that, but someone came to fix it 12 hours later.
The hotel is a good choice in Kuta.
You cannot trust the stuff when booking any external service. These are overpriced. In our case, we book the transport to the Gilis boat. The driver dropped us in a bar/shop where some locals tried to shell us overpriced transport from Gilis to Bali. The port is 1km from where the driver dropped us.
