The bungalows are set in beautiful gardens in a quiet location very close to the centre of Ubud. There is a very good restuarant on site. The bungalows look great and some have ravine/river view. BUT! The inside of the bungalows in need of serious cleaning and TLC; facilities need to be refurbished and brought up to modern standards. A little investment would make Siti Bungalows perfect.
Very close to the city center. Good breakfast served in your terrace.
Very dark rooms, not clean and a very small and dirty swimming pool where we didn't even go. Has potential if the owner make efforts.
Location, good bed, terrace, garden, excellent restaurant "Il Giardino" in vicinity - and the price.
Past its glory, obviously no money to maintain properly. Dirty walls, not working door lock, very noisy air conditioning, threadbare towels, non-maintained swimming pool, and Han Snel Gallery not opened in spite of our request. If only they could find an investor - this obviously used to be a beautiful place...
The hotel is close to the main road with all what u need. But it's very quiet at night... The area is very nice and cozy where u can perfectly chill out and relaxe. Classic balinese house, the bed is amazing, best sleep in Bali since 10 days, so big and comfy. Breakfast was simple but good. They brought it in front of my bungalow. Top service!
U should have a look after yr pool! Is was really hot, but I didn't want to jump in. U could try to clean the bathroom better.
Pretty grounds and outdoor area
Room was very dark, lots of cobwebs, has the open roof at sides. No mozzy net on arrival so I requested 1, which the guy did get me, but it had holes in. He just said 'dont worry, no need to complain' but due to the amount of dust and cobwebs I slept in homestay opposite, came back for breakfast which was fine. This place needs a really good spring clean! Shame, as lovely surroundings.
Lovely garden and location. Very good value. Rooms overlooking the river have big gorgeous verandahs. They are worth the small extra cost. Breakfast was nice. Impressive paintings in the rooms.
Rooms need quite a bit of love. I would have liked a bottle of water to clean my teeth with. Probably a little bit more run down than I feel comfortable with. I would prefer to pay a bit more and get a lick of paint. My nine year old son didn't notice the faded decor at all, so I imagine that some people won't be concerned by this.
I didn't like having to leave.
We stayed here in 2005 and so returning here in Sept/October 2014 was like catching up on old friends. Three staff members were still there from then, and the wonderful water gardens were even more beautiful. Now that we are both pensioners, the affordable price with wonderful breakfasts and swimming pool, was a truly fantastic deal. Furthermore, we will return on our next visit. For a price little more than A$20 per night, I would not dream of criticising. This is value at its absolute best.
Everything! Great Location, Great Staff, Great Breakfast, and Great Sleep!
Breakfast Garden Exterior of mansions
Dishonest staff: we booked an ac-room but when we arrived it was already given away- at 14:00!So a mistake but the guy at the reception wanted us to pay the amount of the ac-room. 100.000 rupiahs above the rate of the other room. After heavy negotiations we got the price of 250.000 instead of 350.000 per night. The guy was quite rude. Dirty and not maintained rooms: Than we saw the room. This was not maintained. The bathroom was not really clean as were the bed and the bedroom. Also the bedlinnen was not really white... But we had already paid. Bad WiFi. Noisy in the morning. Swimming pool was not used in years. Very dirty as were the reclining chairs. If you would swim you would certainly get ill. Also lights and roofs were gradually decaying. Outdoor furniture not cleaned.
I liked absolutely everything! It's central location to the incredible Han Snel paintings gallery. - It being an oasis within the heart of "downtown" Ubud city proper. - Staff both friendly and accommodating. - The Balinese styled bungalow - with - hot water and WiFi. - The beautiful and well appointed grounds. - A fantastic attached restaurant - And the price!
I didn't like that I had to leave.
Wonderful location in centre of Ubud, yet very quiet and peaceful. Old style Balinese cottages in a beautiful tropical garden setting. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Clean and good hot shower. Fan was all we needed at night.
Can't think of anything negative really. Not for that price anyway. Excellent for budget accommodation.
Hospitality, advice, cleanliness, excellent restaurant on the grounds
Amazing retro style, atmosphere, friendly hosts, nice gardens, quiet although close to center
Plunge pool was nice and refreshing with a good ravine vibe. Good choice of warungs nearby. Clean and comfortable. Central to everything.
pool tends to get a bit of debis from the trees etc that overhang
staff was nice, cleaning everyday, breakfast (incl) good, garden is beautifull, the 2 ducks are sweet, location perfect, big bed, hot water, we had fan room, big ceiling fan
beautiful buildings but not well kept, there is a swimmingpool but aeria looked deserted, chairs were not used in ages, we did not use it, not sure if pool was realy clean. room was large but old and smelt moisty.
One of the nicest place i stayed in bali . Verry nice and quiet . The food in the restaurant is amazing and the staff is verry friendly. The bungalows are nice and the service is verry good. Everyday fresh towels and the breakfast is brought to your bungalow.
The swimming pool was dirty and has not been cleaned for months or years.
The charm, quiet, view, gardens, location, free breakfast, location off the more tourist-beaten paths but close to the action.
The overpriced Italian (Italian??) restaurant on site. It's good if pricey, but Balinese places at homestays up the lane offered delicious and inexpensive alternatives. I took them.
They have an amazing garden, own bungalow with terrace(right in the garden), good breakfast, quiet location but still close to everything in Ubud.
Well they say they have a pool. First of all it took me forever to fint it. Second of all it didn't look very healthy. It needs a good cleaning and maybe some shineing up. - If you want a pool find somewhere else to stay as we were dissapointed.
Close to the centre of Ubud.
Friendly efficient staff. The location is great, a simple walk to Main Street with a variety of good restaurants and shops and an convenient beginning to a wonderful walk/hike through the breath taking beauty of the rice fields of Ubud.
There is a pool that overlooks the river has a spectacular cliff view. Unfortunately it is dirty and in my opinion unhealthy. It looks like it has not been attended to for some time.
It’s a nice place set in a beautiful garden and worth the money. The breakfast of Balinese coffee and Nasi Goreng (Balinese special fried rice)included in the price are both very good. Our room overlloking the ravine has a really good location and privacy.
But unfortunately it's little bit neglected for a little too long and could use some renovating and proper cleaning.
Place right in the center (1min walk) but as soon as you enter the garden you feel like being somewhere far out, totaly quit. Nice bungalows balinese style, really friendly staff.
The people, location, and gardens are wonderful!
The bungalows are in need of renovation, but if they were renovated, the price would go up, so the trade-off was worth it to us.
Location and setting. Food and service.
No hot water on first night.
