The Staff. You are made to feel like you are family. The food is great and there are good restruants in the hotel. One of the best in indonesia.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I remembered an incident where during dinner and as my daughter loved the live band, she refused to follow my Mr back to the seat after getting the food he wanted (buffet) so I told one of the waitress to help me look after my daughter for 5 minutes while my Mr and myself brought the food back to our seat. When I went back to my daughter, the waitress really stood beside her just to make sure she din not run away. I expected her to just 'park' my daughter at a corner but she did not. I was very impressed by her service and the help she rendered.

2 Areas for Improvements: 1. Food was not very kids-friendly. There was no even basic cakes for kids during Tea-time. 2. I arranged for transfer to take me back to hotel from Sekupang ferry terminal. The guy came but did not wait for long. We were caught up by the immigration officer inside for 10mins and when we came out, the hotel guy was gone. I had to call the hotel back and waited for 25mins for vehicle to come.

I like that it is away from the hustle busyle of the city area. A quiet paradise with a tinge of plush.

We saw a huge monitor lizard in the kids' pool, lazing around. Hopefully, something will be done to ensure those kind of reptiles are gotten rid off. Atleast, off the hotel grounds.

I travelled with my husband and parents. We like the swimming pool so much so that we enjoyed it for 3 hours. Both dinner and breakfast buffet are very good, a lot of choices. We also enjoyed a lot in Games Room as family and laugh a lot! I love the bed the most, very very comfortable.

I stayed in 2 bedroom suit. They have a kitchen but not cooking facilities (wok, plates and bowls etc.). The furniture in room are a little old but still useable

The room was clean and the barbecue buffet dinner is excellent.

the customer service respond is quite slow, hope they can improved on this.

Beautiful rooms, very clean. Beautiful pool area, very relaxing. Very nice breakfast included. Location is very close to the ferry terminal This is an excellent resort & would highly recommend it to anyone to stay here who is looking for a lovely relaxation style holiday.

Free wi-fi is only available in the hotel lobby areas & restaurants/sports bar, would have liked to have free wi-fi included in the rooms as well.

The 2 bedroom suite is value for money. Friendly and helpful staffs. Breakfast is good. Transportation services is efficient. Holiday Inn still maintain their standards as a respectable hotel in Batam. I'll definitely return when i visit Batam again.

I like the hotel staff who were friendly and vey helpful. The place assured enough security. It was a value for money stay. There were even some water play toys for the children provided by the hotel. I takes about 30 minutes to go to town but it was no a hassle as there was hotel recommended taxis which were trustworthy.

We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival with juices and the check-in was quick. The rooms were good with the reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My request for late check-out was also granted which make my stay even better.

The jacuzzi was only available for spa guests and not for hotel guests... It makes it bad to be able to see it but not use it..

We loved massages in tea tree spa. Staff was very nice and attentive, especially around swimming pool. Room was nice and clean.

We approached reception several times what is happening with shuttle bus to ferry terminal and always got yes yes and then almost missed the ferry as when concierge guy finally came he did not know about us, but again managed very quickly to solve it and get us to ferry terminal which was great. On Saturday there were so many people for breakfast that we had no place to sit and when i approached staff to help us, she looked lost and did not really help so we helped ourselves by asking another staff to clean table that just emptied. I missed chocolate sauce for pancakes in buffet. PS2 that we had in family room was not working.

I like the pools. They are huge. My children enjoy themselves. An ideal place for relaxation with family.

There are funny smell in the toilets although they are clean.

the best relax hotel in batam vanwegen hun ontbijt waar erg goed bereidend ( the delicious breakfast compare to others 5 stars hotels in batam ) & wellnes in baliness style spa is super voor lazy afternoon. ideal hotel to relax compare to / after visiting marina bay sands singapore is ......big happy ending story with great local food & spa at holiday inn batam ..............

The Best part of Holiday Inn Batam is that it continues the reputation of the hotel chain. The Spa is just too good and you are spoilt for food . Kids will love the pool and games. Its self contained and you dont need to venture out. Only flip side is there is nothing else in the neighborhood, though the hotel has shuttle services to shopping district & ferry terminals.

Its Location and the fact that some of its restaurants are closed during weekdays.

This was very bad experience. Our last day of the trip couple of things spoil. Lift, lift lobby phone and door room key card sensor spoiled. We been waiting for more then 30mins to get the things fix. We been walking up and down more then 3 times to get technician, Front Office folks to help out.

All you need is there, don't have to go anywhere. The room with two bedrooms, a living room and two bathrooms was spacey enough for the four of us. The gym was well equipped and the air condition remained running. Lots of things to do, tennis and table tennis too. The restaurant was nicely equipped and the personnel friendly and helpful. All staff speak English and are neatly dressed. Plenty of parking places as most people don't arrive with their own car. The pool was well maintained, clean, towels available, balls available for the kids to play, slide was used frequently.

Wired internet isn't free, free wireless poor. The elevators, one of three out of order, take some time before opening the door (8-10 seconds), longer than expected, but one gets used to it. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but there is no need to go there often.

Great for a short getaway with the family. The pool was great. Buffet breakfast was quite good. The hotel spa was excellent.

There's nothing much to do just outside the hotel. You have to take a transport to other areas in Batam.
