눉I would not recommend 'Impossible Villa' to anyone. You can get much better accommodation in the area for your money.
The paintwork is shoddy, the furniture incredibly cheap, the bathrooms look like the tiles/bricks are stuck on with Kraft glue - there was a rusty nail sticking out of the corner of ours.
The "welcome" was abysmal. We arrived around 730pm, were greeted by three boys who don't speak English at all (which would be fine if it was a homestay but not a pricey "villa").
The villa is off the main drag and we were not given any information about transport, food, facilities etc. We had to ask about breakfast, nearby beaches etc. A tiny bit of helpful material for the area would be useful. Apparently there is a woman who cooks on site but they didn't tell us, she just turned up on our final night offering food and massages. When we did order some french fries they charged us 90K for two small handfuls of them which is, as anyone who has been in Bali five minutes knows, an absolutely offensive and insulting price. They blamed "Mama" when we tried to query it.
There is no minibar in your room, despite the description.
Security is obviously not a consideration here. The first villa we were offered didn't lock at the front door, the second one didn't lock at the back.
There is most definitely NOT hot water here - two minutes at the start of your shower and a few seconds every now and then. Unacceptable - not for Bali but for the price and per the advertisements for this place. Additionally, the outside bathroom is very basic - a small sink, a toilet and nowhere to put anything. Pipes leaked too - just what you need when you have to put your toiletries on the floor.
If you have a bike, you might be fine but if you have no personal transport you can't really walk the streets nearby at night without threat of dog attack.
The rates for taxis quoted by the villa were extortionate.
눇Firstly... Do not confuse with 'Villa Impossible'! 'Impossible Villa' is a different place and does not have a sea view. It has views of construction sites (and is therefore also noisy in the early morning).
On the plus side, the rooms are sizeable, the bed is comfy and air con is reliable. There is potential here - it seems such a shame to have been squandered.
An honourable mention goes to the poor (probably underpaid or unpaid) lad who served everyone a fab breakfast and cleans all the villas every day. He seemed to ALWAYS be on duty and is friendly and helpful as he can be. I don't imagine his boss is supporting him in his career development.
