Friendly, helpful hosts. Comfortable room, great location and can't be beaten for value for money.
excellent localitation, confortable room, clean. Good acces to wifi.
The room is really beautiful, and very clean, bathroom and bedroom are cleaned every day. There is hot water and tea on the terrace all the time. The breakfast is tasty. The shower has a very good hot water supply. The Wifi is quite fast. No ac, but the fan is sufficient, it doesn't get too hot in the room. Location is good, close to Yoga Barn, Monkey Forest, some good restaurants, and a large supermarket.
The room doesn't really have any windows, apart from a small one very high up. Instead, there are a few "openings", covered by mosquito nets but not by glass, and this means that all the noise from outside gets in, and the noise (roosters, motor bikes, family) starts early, therefore this is not for light sleepers. The mattress is rather hard. The price quoted for transport to Amed was far higher (by 50%) than the established price, I would therefore be very careful and better double check quotes on the street before booking anything through the guesthouse. There is no garden or courtyard, and the terrace is shared with another room. As per August, there was still work going on for a new bungalow, and the noise started very early, went on all day, and was really incredibly loud.
Location is excellent.
The Rooster! Make sure you have ear plugs. I found it very difficult to sleep.
The guys who owns the place are quite helpful.
Breakfast. Found ants and lizard on the table.
Nice friendly family homestay.
One, who prefers to wake up late morning, be aware that construction of a new house still goes on. Yet it doesn't bother too much. In the beginning the inet connection was very weak, but after couple of days it turns much better.
I do enjoyed a great stay at Inten House, the room is with local style with a small but lovely porch. Hot water, yummy breakfast, tea & coffee always ready on a lovely desk right in front of your door. The hostess is a cook herself, so the breakfast is really yummy every morning, I have to go back from yoga class for that. The host Wayan is helpful on everything. The yard is always cleaned, and the room is maintained on daily base. Location is good enough for me, close to Hanoman street, planty of coffee place that I can hang out, and really close to yoga barn. Even the market is within walking distance. Considering the price they charge, this is the five-star service with a good room and location.
really nothing to complain, but there is a construction going on during late Apr. It should be finished by Mid-May. If noise in day time bothers you, email Wayan to check the construction progress.
On a quiet side street, yet close to the Monkey Forest and bigger streets as well as Coco supermarket. Very friendly owner, always willing to chat. Room was cleaned daily and well. Loved the coffee-tea facilities.
WiFi was rather slow but this is usual in Bali. They had construction work in progress, so was a bit noisy in the mornings.
Location is great as well as the owner and his family. Breakfast was brought to my room every morning and it had been cleaned every day. Place is beautiful, just what it looks like on the pictures.
Construction work as they build two more rooms. But, the host was very nice and apologized, and at the end I hardly heard it as I was out all day and they finished in the afternoon. I would definetely go there again!
Good location and good value for money. World stay here again.
There is being built a building right next to this so a lot of noice. The owner is a little to eager to sell tours ect.
Location on Jalan Hanoman Large size of room Furniture Cleanliness WiFi was very strong Family is very accommodating and nice
Nothing! I ended up staying an extra 3 nights as I found Ubud a good place to use as a base for trips, and I could not get myself to leave.
Nice, spacious room. Very clean and hot water shower worked well. Nice breakfast and good to have facilities for tea and coffee available all day. Location is nice and quiet, down small alleyway off one of the main roads through ubud. Close to shops, restaurants and monkey forest.
The fan worked well and was sufficient to keep us cool but for a couple more dollars you can get air con and a similar room nearby to have a bit more comfort at night.not a deal breaker though unless you are particularly bothered about this sort of thing. Would still recommend.
everything. the family is just so friendly and helpful. indescribable.
i had to move to an different homestay because there was an booking for my room and i didnt extend soon enough.
Nice little place with 2 Rooms for rent. Room was clean And felt like home. Nice decoration & furnitures. Hot water, wifi, breakfast. Quiet location yet still in walking distance from monkey forest, ubud center, yoga barn. I could recommend this place for my friends.
The room did not have big Windows And so it was a bit dark inside. If you dont mind a lack of privacy you could keep the doors open. There was no interesting view from the terrace.
Breakfast pancake, fast Wifi connection, clean room, nice owner, near restaurant, monkey forest, shopping, good location all within walking distance.
Inten house is running by a honest, opened and friendly Balinese family. The pictures of the crafted and furnished pavillion doesn't pretend a cozy homestay, it is a really nice and lovely place!!And cleande by a dayly room service. I liked to stay in Inten house, because it is located in the heart of Ubud and neverthe less, because of a small side road of Hanomen street, quiet and calm. So I could rest and sleep very well. Inten house is quite closed to the Hanomen street, the Water palace, the Market, Art museum, different Restaurants, Bars and the Monkey forest. All rechable by a walking distance.Pak made and his family tried to to figure out the famoust attractions when ever they could and supported us to organize our trips. It was not only the location, also the family, the yammie breakfast with fruits and pancake and the fair price, that we extended there four days.
I really enjoyed the time at Inten house and honestly I couldn't find any failure. The only one, may be the small window. But if you don't mind and opend the doors it's bright enough!
This family-run accommodation is a richly crafted-and-furnished pavilion consisting of two side-by-side bedrooms within a typical Balinese compound house. The owner and his family stay in other pavilions. As I woke up in the morning, I opened my doors wide and inhaled the fresh air of Ubud while enjoying the rooster crowing, the birds singing, and watching the sun rise and gradually enlight the family shrines right across my room. I also enjoyed the tea-coffee making facility and breakfast. The western breakfast (scrambled egg and banana pancake) was yummy. Inten House is also located very strategically in town. It is within walking distances to many places (Monkey Forest, art museums, palace, market, and rows of dining places, souvenir kiosks etc.). My three-day-stay there was a pleasant and memorable moment. My thanks to Pak Made and his family. (Oh... the owner, pak Made, was also very helpful driving me to various destinations surrounding Ubud (when he was not at work).
Inten House could also offer Balinese food for breakfast, e.g. porridge with veggie lawar. It would be great if they also do daily room service (cleaning, tidying up)
