The closeness to shopping, restaurants and entertainment without being in kuta is great. The staff are friendly and trustworthy. I leave money tables in the room and not one note goes missing. Ever. I booked 7 months in advance and got a great rate. But upon arrival they tell me my room preferences are not available and then they tried to put our 2 room booking into a 2 bed apartment for the first night. This was not acceptable as we clearly stated we were travelling with an infant. Upon refusal to accept the room offered they then found us 2 rooms on a ground floor as requested. I truly felt as though as we got a good price that we were 2nd rate guests. |

I liked the location close to everything, and the fact that they had apartments for families. The rooms are somewhat tired and definatley could do with a refurbish and could have been a bit cleaner. |

We arrived at midnight to the hotel, and they did not hold a reservation for us which was a little scary, however as i had all my "Booking.com" cofirmation details printed they accepted that there may have been a miscommunication and that it was not our error and found a room for us....they did not have the deluxe room availabale for our first night so we were ugraded...they handled the situation very well and did all the chasing up with "Booking.com" on our behalf, which was greatly appreciated. It was almost impossile to find a deck chair around the pools...other guests leave their towels on a chair first thing in the morning to reserve it but then they wouldn't use the chairs for hours - meanwhile someone else could have used them...the hotel should implement a policy to stop this, perhaps removing towels from chairs that have not been used for atleast an hour....Apart from this minor fact the hotel was fantastic! |

Nice pools, Breakfast was good. I have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times, on the last 2 there has been a mix up with rooms, this time we were told we could not move into our room until 7pm (we arrived at 8am) they gave us a twin room, so we had to move the next night at 7pm, ( we had requested Double bed, near pool, ground floor, we didn't get any of these) there was no communication with the reception staff, they didn't have a clue or didn't want to know, the 1st room had no hot water in the morning, There are definately not enough pool chairs and umbrella's at the pools, shade is at a minimum, when asked about this they said we are busy that is why ! We have decided that mainly after the room mix up we wont be returning.. |

We got the room we requested, low floor and by the pool, which was nice. Good location - close to beach and good restaurants. Very friendly staff as is often the case in Bali. Had some problems checking in; room wasn't ready on time and that impacted our first day there considerably. Even once we were in, we were short of towels etc and had to make repeated requests to get this rectified. Location is great but I think the hotel is expensive for the experience and compared to what else is on offer in the area. No huge problems with our stay there, and I think the hotel is a good fit for certain types of guests (large groups, families) but will likely look elsewhere in the future as it was a little big and impersonal for our liking. |

the jayakarta was a haven whilst we were aclimatizing to bali after a long flight. The gardens were lovely and the way the rooms were perched around the gardens made it feel quiet oppulent. The Staff were lovely I thought the rooms were a bit pricey, for what we got. and obviously the plumbing of the hotel needs to be looked at, in the bathroom there was obvious wet rot, which made the bathroom feel unclean, even though it was not |

Housekeeping staff was very accomodating to our hectic (teenager) schedule and went out of their way to clean our room at times convenient for our family, even if it was later in the day. Staff was always coureous. The apartment rooms are quite far away from the pool and restaurant facilities. There was no in-room internet. WiFi was available 11a.m. to midnight in the open poolside restaurant, where one could feast on the internet while being feasted upon by mosquitos, triggering the idea, perhaps, of a restauant name change from Tanah Lot to Itcha Lot. |

I have stayed at this hotel on a few occasssions, twice on business, I have always found it comfortable safe and friendly a home away from home. The only problem my friends and family have is that we tend to eat and drink elsewhere as thier prices are high. |

The closeness to the beach. And really nice staff, particularly a lady from the reception Jun and a boy Oki and two staff members from the beach restaurant Mustica and the chef. All I was after was some peace and quiet - and i ended up with a room with a common door to a presidental suite, which was a centre of social life of a big family. |

When we moved to the hotel room everything was fine- the staff are friendly, the outside pool areas are good and it is right beside the beach, also the breakfast buffet was very nice. When we stayed in the apt the air conditioning leaked, the room was far from the main hotel and it was old. |

I really enjoyed being located on such a nice beach. Especially as i was learning to surf. The pools were lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful Only thing was at breakfast i thought there could of been a wider variety of fresh fruit and when we ordered a banana pancake the wait was a little long. |

the proximity to the beach, my only reason for staying there. The staff is poorly trained, answer is no to any question, no food menu in the room despite calling 4 times at the reception, nobody ever showed up. Rules with towel not to be taken on the beach is unacceptable. Breakfast is boring. Impossible to place a phone call from the room, had to request to the reception everytime. No phone directory in the room. Old dirty overly used directory with very little information in the room. Rooms are impersonal, and badly decorated, we can hear the neighbours TV, the noise in the corridor from the room. |

We have stayed here before and enjoy its location and reasonably good value for money. Based on Bali accommodation prices it is getting to the higher end of the scale for the age of the property. However all the staff were great and we enjoyed the location of the accommodation provided to us during our stay there. No everything was fine except upon arrival they did not have our booking details that we had made through booking.com. This was a hassle and after many hours of travel we did not enjoy the experience of having to wait for over an hour until the matter was recitified. I still do not know whether this was a problem with your booking service or the hotel. Talking to other guests it seems we were not alone with internet booking problems. It also was unfortunate for us (who had no children) that it was school holidays and there were many children disrupting our peace. A separate desiginated childrens or adults only area would help. We may consider properties with future visits to Bali that do not allow young families as these families tend to disregard the fact that other guests do not all have young families and do not want to hear the screeming of young kids at dining times or relax times around the pools. There also is seeming to become a culture of the night club sceen at other properties in proximity to Jayakarta, and with the thump thump of music blearing out to past 3.00am some evenings, we may in future consider properties that are not so close to this night time activity. |

I enjoyed the location very much, the breakfast was kind of basic but it is free so no complaints from me I think the bathroom in the room is very average, it needs to be renovated. |

Location near beach and resteraunts and pool facilities The appartment rooms were not of a quality standard, we were moved 3 times due to no hot water, leaky toilet etc. Eventually we recieved an upgrade to the hotel rooms. |
