After spending 2 nights at Jeeva Klui with an overall lovely stay, which
wasn't perfect only because of smaller issues like poor wifi, air
conditioning in the room not powerful enough to refresh (looked like it
only had fan mode) and average meals for an excessive price, it all went
down at our check-out.
Our flight was late in the evening (7.30pm) so we asked for a late check-out right at the moment we checked-in. They told us they would need to check the night before, because our room could be booked for someone else that day, but that they could arrange us a place to take a shower before leaving if necessary. In the night before they called us to say that the room had been booked. So, in our last day at the resort we checked out at 12am and wandered in the beach and SPA until it was time to leave. We then asked the receptionist if we could have a shower and change clothes before leaving, which was answered affirmatively with the usual kindness.
The problem came when they showed us the place to take that shower. It was clearly the place employees used - and that would be ok, no problem. Then there was no hot water for our bath and inside there was a disgusting smell coming from the drain. We went to the reception and warned about it, which was answered with 'we had to use the heating water system of that bathroom in a room, that is why it don't have hot water... sorry' sorry?! I've paid more than 150e/night and clearly the hotel is not full-booked, so it could have be given to us a room, or the spa and I only ear a 'sorry'?!
To make things even worse the bathroom had holes to the exterior and for 3 times some employee came to try to use the bathroom/shower and saw me naked. Clearly not the way we should be treated!
After all this and my complaints they didn't even helped me to carry my bags to the taxi.
When we booked this room we were undecided between them and Qunci villas, clearly we did the wrong choice.
