beautiful setting overlooking the rice fields gorgeous pool good breakfasts attentive staff restaurant food was really good the little hut in the middle of the fields was so peaceful at night to listen to the frogs and watch the twinkling fireflies
we had booked a 1 bedroom villa but there was no view from them so we swapped to a room which was smaller but fantastic view. Shuttle service good to get to town centre but we didn't know we had to book a specific time to return
Excellent service. Complimentary shuttle service. Gorgeous spot. Great restaurant.
We only stayed one night :(
Beautiful location, beautifully designed and maintained resort, lovely friendly staff - the same team was there 2 years after my first visit
view of the restaurant and pool the hotel design i like its a small hotel with no more than 20 rooms
the rooms i had was a bit dark the breakfast menu a bit limited, but i like its all a la carte.
The amazing view, really helpful and friendly staff. we would recommend this hotel to any one and we are really fussy.
The way tax is added to menu prices. This is normal in Bali but a few other places include it .its not a problem but it is annoying
Venue, idyllic views by day and night, hotel owners working with the local people, delightful staff and excellent, inexpensive, restaurant.
We had to leave to come home !
Kenanga was an oasis a few kilometres out of the town centre. The staff were polite and helpful and I felt totally comfortable on my own. The on site restaurant is great too.
Location, views over rice fields; shuttle bus service was great although last bus back was 5.15pm! Great swimming pool, breakfast excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family
Poor wifi Expensive to eat in restaurant- food average but very expensive as they have a captive audience!
Great location. Superb bungalows overlooking rice fields. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Wifi wasn't great. Food in restaurant expensive- setting was idyllic but quality of food wasn't anything special.
- Fairly close to town centre - Free shuttle bus - Nice view of rice fields - Great food
- Maybe not as secluded as we hoped
clean, helpful staff, good food in restaurant, nice breakfast, fabulous view
30 minutes far away from ubud centre by walk. No shuttle to Ubud centre after 5pm. Massage only available between 10 am - 5pm. Can not use pool after sunset :( Bad WIFI
Very relaxing, lovely pool, friendly staff, food in hotel restaurant on 1st night after long journey, shuttle bus during the daytime to and from ubud centre.
Distance from ubud centre. Had to get taxi after 6.15 back to hotel, but very reasonable at 50,000 rp
1. Staff hospitality 2. Location 3. Very good breakfast
1. Spa is very expensive as compared to Standalone Spas. 2. Food at restaurant is expensive compared to restaurants in Ubud
Everything nothing bad to say would go back there tomorrow. True Bali experience away from the hustle of too many tourists and huge hotels. Lovely trek through rice fields and view every day of them was beautiful experience
Very nice view on rice fields. The sunbeds at the swimming pool, as well as the restaurant, are right in front of the fields. We were so lucky to see the local farmers harvesting the rice! The furniture is contemporary and stylish. The room is comfortable and the bathroom, which is open to the bedroom (we like that) is large and nice. Very good wifi! Food at the restaurant is really good, but a bit expensive.
The location is perfect for the rice fields, but it is not at a walking distance from Ubud center. Fortunately, there is a free shuttle going to the center every hour. We opted for renting a scooter instead.
Beautiful well appointed rooms and wonderful view
Food was not super
Escaping from the hussle and bussle of Legian, we were in need of peace and tranquility. We found it here at Kananga. Would thoroughly recommend to those travellers looking for a quiet well appointed , friendly small boutique property.
The location was superb. Beautiful padi field views. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Free hourly shuttle into Ubud (up until 5.00pm). 5-10 minutes drive from downtown Ubud - which is desirable as Ubud was extremely busy.
A peaceful respite from busy downtown Ubud. Staff exceptionally attentive. Serene location.
Dinner was relatively pricey and not that memorable.
The staff were all lovely, always happy and no problems with my request for Limes and ice, Thankyou Kenanga for the beautiful experience. We loved the lanterns over the rice paddies lit up in the evenings, and we loved to strolll down to enjoy sunset drink in the Hut in the rice fields. When we came home at night lanterns were floating over the swimming pool, looked amazing..The staff are all so lovely, the farmers working in the fields was also great fun to watch the daily progress on the farm.Afternoon tea by the pool is not to be missed, different little treats each day. We were lucky to receive a small cake for our wedding anniversary. The short rice paddie stroll through the farm is also great to wear off the breaky. Make sure to book into Locavore Restaurant in Ubud before you come as it's amazing experience too.
This was a beautiful resort overlooking rice fields. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a little out of central Ubud however the hotel runs free shuttles running every hour into town. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends.
Beautiful situation in rice paddies, hard to better; excellent restaurant, good breakfast and wonderful dinner, charming staff; extremely good value
Getting things done sometimes bit challenging (language problem or slight lack managerial skills?); little hairdryers
Kenanga was the perfect finale to our holiday in Bali. Such a spectacular location, super helpful and friendly staff, great food, relaxing atmosphere and incredible rooms. The bed was so comfortable and everything was so tastefully decorated and well appointed. We didn't want to leave!
It was all amazing!
Great location just outside the centre of Ubud so it was very peaceful but just a short taxi ride away
The food served in the restaurant was average
Beautiful place and wonderful staff! Couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at Kenaga.
