Beautiful decore and in house eating/shopping options

Air con struggled a bit in my room, but was fine in my brothers

The price (although we got a last minute bargain). The room was clean and really big. The staff were very friendly and the beach club was lovely. The afternoon tea was a really nice touch and the breakfast was the nicest we had all week!

The fact we only stayed one night!

Proximity to Jimbaran Bay grilled seafood stalls - great place to have your dinner without having to pay for taxi to take you to restaurants in Nusa Dua or Kuta

The reception staff put me off the very moment I entered the hotel lobby - without greeting or anything they nearly pushed me into the couch and asked to wait because there was a couple who arrived two seconds before me. But all I was trying to do was to actually have somebody to confirm if this was the right hotel - I got there by taxi and as the hotel identification is not quite obvious, the taxi driver was not 100% sure that was what I was looking for. So I and my driver had to wait just to have somebody look at my reservation print out and confirm if I was at the right place. Hotel doesn't have any surrounding territory, no lawns, no gardens or anything like that, it's located in a kind of shopping center. Buggy to beach - no way. Waited for 15 mins and as there was still no buggy, I had to walk to the beach myself (though it's just a short 5 minutes walk). The beach is very dirty, so are the surroundings. The breakfast box provided in case of early departures contains no cutlery whatsoever - I had no idea how I was going to put butter and jam on the croissant they provided and eat the fruit salad included into the breakfast box. When noted to the reception staff, they said it was not their fault, that breakfast boxes are prepared by the restaurant staff. In summary, I will never go back to Kupu Kupu Jimbaran.

air conditioner is not good

We were extremely impressed, the suite was lovely and spacious, the position was accessable to all areas by taxi, but not in the hub or noise of the tourist traps. There is a shuttle to the beach and beach club.

After my stay I felt like this hotel came up very high in rankings at booking.com as an "ad". - Remote location, not close to sea/kuta/ubud/airport - Hotel is basically a 2 floor, large apartment with first floor as reception and shopping mall, second floor as rooms right next to each other with a pool in the center. - Breakfast was awful. - Very expensive for the price

Excellent quite location. Excellent rooms. Close to the beach. Easy access to any place in Bali.

The personal was very nice. The interior and design very interesting.

Not consistent performance by personel which varied on daily basis.

It is a small hotel with ~30 rooms, which is very comforting as it is always calm and quite near the pool and restaurant area. Pool area and the pool are very nice, especially early in the morning and in the night. We stayed in a 2-level room near pool side, and we really enjoyed it - it was really big, clean, conditioned and styled in the traditional way with king-size bed. Staff and service are outstanding - not annoying, attentive, friendly and always willing to help. Hotel is located in a relatively quite place if compared to Kuta and is situated near a shopping mall with several restaurants (Chocolate Cafe we found to be the best one as it offered european, japanese and italian meals and staff there was amazing). Kupu Kupu has its own beach area (Jimbaran Beach Club) that is located within 10 min by walking or 2 min by hotel's 'buggy'. Restaurant on the beach is quite nice and offers an extensive menu choice. Also there is a grill-restaurant area near Jimbaran Beach Club.

I did not like that it was just 3 weeks, I wish it was half a year at least :) Really there is nothing that comes to my mind at the moment, as everything was close to perfect at Kupu Kupu.

good staf ambiance service

The room ambience was very cosy and inviting. I did not request for a baby cot, but indicated that I was travelling with a baby.They surprised me with a sturdy and clean baby cot, as I was travelling with a baby. It was a comfortable stay. The room was spacious and located at a quiet end. Really close to the Jimbaran beach club ( 1-2 mins away by buggy) and the bookshop Periplus had a good selection of books at very cheap prices ! The breakfast menu was pretty decent and was a good sized portion.

The bath towels and hand towels had red stains, I was not sure if they were rust stains or blood marks. Either way, they were gross. The lobby reception area was a bit sparse and boring, and it was a pity there wasn't more natural lighting given the location. The pool was really small, and served its purpose more of a hangout zone for sun-tanning, which is fine if you are just seeking to relax. We seemed to be the only family with a child, as all the other guests seem to be there for a romantic escape. With the lack of children-friendly facilities (such as a big pool, toys, baby chairs), I suppose this hotel is not at all ideal for families with young children. I was constantly worried that my daughter's screams or laughter would wake the other guests as the area was quiet and peaceful. Much more suitable for couples seeking some quiet time at a hotel with basic facilities.

The room was interesting with the bath in the middle of the lounge! The staff are very friendly and courteous. The breakfasts are delicious. The hotel is small and intimate with a lovely raised pool.

位置很好旁边就是购物中心，离海滩走路也只有五分钟不到地路程，服务热心，房间环境很漂亮，卫生是不得不说- 的优点，打扫的很干净，性价比很高，下次去肯定还会再选这家。还有酒店提供的早餐很丰富，最迟到11点，可- 以当早饭，并且很美味。

I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport and it is well-situated but not on the beach, which would have been preferable. They do offer access to the beach club, which was great. The room was very nice - a roof top mezzanine, facing their small rooftop pool. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The big bonus is that they have the Occitane Spa adjoining the hotel - do expect to pay us prices for this - it is a great facility.

The check-in and out procedures just took too long.

Great rooftop pool as well as spacious suites. Very clean and welcoming. I also really liked gaining access to the beach side club.

Pool was ok and walking distance to Jimbaran beach and restaurants

Property misses the mark as it tries to be sort of boutique but internal room layout is awkward and not very private as the tight inclusion of a long pool forces guest traffic right past each doorway. Not enough pool lounges and umbrellas Breakfast basic.

Great experience

Very nice duplex rooms, nice staff. We spend there our last night on honeymoon and everything appeared to be really excellent! Next time we will 100% come there back and for longer time!
