Kupu Kupu Barong Villas and Tree Spa  

The location was amazing, beautiful and peaceful, I have read a few reviews on booking.com when people where complaining about lizards etc...but when u wanna stay in a hotel that is in a middle of jungle what do you expect, ( and geco lizards are so cut and not dangerous at all)...And the surrounding is amazing.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic people are really nice but... I think they have the most perfect area . Bungalow is fabulous and perfect for romantic person ( My girl friend now want's to marry me :)) ) staff during check out and Check in was great and professional. Also they offert us a bottle of nice Indo wine and also hotel bag was offert to ( no need to put in into your bag and pray to not be catch by hotel security :))

Every morning every person from the staff was asking me in this order - Good morning , Did you sleep well ? - what are you doing today ? It's to much formatted. No need to ask staff to do this.More natural will be appreciate . Sometimes i can see that some of them was scare to not say that. Management must understand that leave staff be more natural will be so much more value for every body

The staff are amazing. They are welcoming and really helpful. For example, they would help you organise your program and suggest places to go. They do not hesitate to help and always smile. If you needed a buggy to and from your villa they would happily get one for you. Complimentary breakfast is yum, you get a wide selection from western and local. The design and architecture of the place is amazing!! Its so beautiful and really suits being in bali. Its the best acommodation ive stayed at, its not a hotel but its like living in your own home, it was 2 storeys for us and we had airconditioning, complimentary fruits and bottled water. It was very unique and better than staying in a hotel.

Close to the traditional valley of the Ayung river, the Kupa Kupa Barong Hotel is well situated to go trekking or discovering the traditionnal balinese countryside. The hotel site is very beautiful : really hang to the mountain.

Avoid absolutely the garden villas who has no view at all on the valley, having in mind that the only interest of the hotel is its view so... Our villa was very dark and smell bad (moisture,...). The hotel is far from Ubud and the hotel shuttle (every hour) stop at 5pm, so each time you want to go diner, you need to take a taxi as there's nothing around the hotel (no shop, no restaurant,...). In a way you feel trap in the hotel and get the feeling that everything is based on (big) money : drinks are twice the price than the rest of Bali, same for the spa (we were perhaps unlucky but we have waited 45' to have our scheduled massage), same for airport transfer (definitely take it in Ubud)... As a conclusion, certainly not a 5 stars hotel !

اعجبتني بشاشة الموظفين وسرعة الاستجابة لطلبات النزيل .. الاهتمام بنظافة الغرفة .. كما ان الاطلالة من الغرفة كانت رائعة ..

وجود بعض الحشرات نظرا لموقع الفندق في منطقة بين الغابات

Отель находиться на достаточно крутом склоне, а внизу протекает горная речка. Вид замечательный, виллы расположены таким образом, что создается впечатление, что вокруг никого нет. Мы останавливались в номере с бассейном и видом на реку - очень романтично!!!! Номер свежий, завтраки отличные, персонал просто на высоте. Цены в ресторане и спа несколько выше, чем в городе, но спа заслуживает похвал. Все очень размеренно, спокойно и приятно. Отличный отель для тихого отдыха и медового месяца

Très belles chambres dans des villas bien décorées et surtout une vue magnifique sur la vallée de l'Ayung et les rizières.

Piscine privée de la villa très petite et piscine générale de l'hôtel qui manque de charme. Le prix des chambres reste également très élevé.

La courtoisie et la qualité du personnel, le cadre idyllique, et l'atmoshpère.

éVentuellement les insectes, mais cet hotel est situé en montagne a quelques minutes d'UBUD près de la jungle et des risières, rien de très surprenant, il suffit de ne pas laisser la fenête ouverte de nuit avec la lumière allumée....

Un hôtel magnifique, un service irréprochable, un accueil extraordinaire probablement du a la gentillesse des Balinais.Un hôtel que je recommanderai à tous.

La vue depuis les villas est exceptionnelle. Le moindre détail pour le confort et le plaisir des hôtes est pensé et prévu. Le personnel est nombreux et discret. L'endroit est magique! Le Spa (dans les arbres) est inoubliable.

Le seul (très petit) bémol pourrait etre l'exposition de notre piscine privée ... Souvent a l'ombre.
