Hotel was in a great spot, Aircon and pool was very good and security were great.
Towels were pulling apart, only one power point worked in entire room. Bathroom facilities were shocking, unclean, no fan shocking ( mouldy ) smell in the room. Pillows were over stuffed n very hard. Stairwell to room was very narrow, chipped edges and dangerous
was very surprised comfortable bed large room, excellent location, staff were lovely, pool small but clean and great for little ones.
The only complaint I had was the pillow was to small and very hard, But my saving grace was that I always travel with my own so I was still happy.
Rooms by pool Joni 2 great
My husband and I loved this hotel ,as the staff were amazingly friendly and could not do enough for us. The hotel ,itself was reminiscent of a traditional Balinese Village ,with gardens galore, waterfalls ,orchids and goldfish ponds every where you looked. To say we enjoyed our stay ,is an understatment. The cleanliness could not be faulted.
facilities not what we expected
Joni 2 so quite even at night
No Wi-Fi in rooms
We really enjoyed the location the staff were very friendly and the facilities clean and tidy.
Having to pay for bottled water Big no no.
Great location in the heart of Legian. 200 metres to the beach and the same to Legian Rd. surrounded by all bars and restuarant. Legian markets 100 metres away.
The pillows were a real disappointment. They were small and basically useless. The bed was strongly small in length and hard as. The bathroom is in need of some TLC. It is old and crumbling. Having said that the shower was full pressure and reliable.
Was not happy being woken between 5 & 6 most days as they were doing renovations next to bungalow 203 as hav stayed there 3 other times
Great location, good food/markets near by. Close to the beach & kuta/seminyak.
Only down side were the bathrooms, the shower head was down below waist so you had to hold it above head to get wet!
Great location near the beach. Easy to get around, staff will help you with everything, taxi or motor rental. Pool is situated next to the roadside however gives a good cooldown. Rooms are big and clean, option to secure your stuff in the bathroom since this has a lock with a key as well. Felt very safe!
Was a good location, not far from a really nice beach. Great friendly service.
Could not shower as water was on some strange cycle every 30 seconds the water would go from scorching hot to freezing cold, no chance of adjustment and extremely loud as is next to the street and opposite a pub.
Good location and nice facilities
No hot water
The hotel should get knocked down and refurbished, in the 70's this may have been acceptable but not today. We were in Joni1 and the pool was in constant shade all day, freezing cold we could not swim in it. The bathrooms where so worn and filthy dirty, we had no windows in our room so the room was dark and stank of mothballs. There was mosquitos in the bathroom breeding in the constant water leak from the toilet, the toilet itself was loose and if you leaned to one side the whole toilet leaned with you. No breakfast included in the rate. for $50 there are definately better places to stay. Awful, while the location is really great I would rather stay in a different location and have a decent room and bathroom. I went to my next hotel and had a complete scrub I felt so dirty.
Beautiful staff! Friendly. You get what you pay for! No frills but very good for the price. Great location close to shops and a very short walk to the beach! Great cafés all around. Close enough to the shops, I walked from here easily to Kuta and Seminyak when I wanted variety. It was my second time staying here and I am going back again simply as it is so central to everything I love about Bali at a fantastic price.
The bathroom was not the best! There is a permanent odour. The shower was "adequate"! But you really do get what you pay for. These are not complaints, but rather observations!
it was all good
the hotel is inexpensive and offers good comfort, has very friendly and helpful staff, when I explained that I need a quite room during the night we were upgraded to a better room in the superior class without a change in the rate, located ideal 3 min. by feet from beach within a nice area with plenty restaurants, cafes and shops.
our room didn't have a balcony to chill out or dry our wet close
This hotel was value for money and staff were friendly. But probably best suited to budget travelers or the younger crowds.
Pool closing too early (8pm) and no swim up bar.
the pool and the friendly staff :)
no airport pickup but taxi is cheap
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They are honest and always let you know if you have left possessions behind, I am a regular traveller to Bali and recomend this hotel, which I frequently stay at
The breakfast is nothing special, but can't fault the staff
Good location, close to beach and main shopping strip, clean, and friendly atmosphere.
After checking in we were moved to joni 2 which is a 2-3 min walk down another street, which means no wifi. The main pool in joni 1 looks dirty. In a standard room the beds are so hard we got back pain. No water bottles included in the rate, so stock up before arrival.
Everything. It was the worst. We checked in at 12:30am and checked out at 9:00am same day.
no comment due to excellent price
- the bed and linnen smelled bad. - the bathroom smelled bad. - if you travel with little children this hotel is not suitable. the music/band (very bad) plays very loud untill 23.00 - the beach is very dirty
