Beautiful pool, clean rooms, free bikes to ride around the island. Staff all friendly.

Construction noise and dust. No drinking water provided - not even for tooth brushing.

One of the very best accommodation on Gili islands

Friendliness and helpfulness of all staff as well as the fact that the owners were always on hand.

Distance from the centre of town. Travel at night was only advisable by horse and cart at exorbitant rates.

It isn't beachside but loan of the bikes makes it a short ride or walking is ok if too many bin tangs have been consumed!

The pool is very nice, the balconies are well situated & the rooms have a nice Asian feel.

The bicycles were not very reliable & need better maintenance. The road to the resort is a mess. Lots of pot holes. Honestly the Indonesian authorities need to get their act together. How difficult can it be to lay concrete or asphalt? Embarrassing.

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! We were so happily surprised - they pictures on the internet were very nice but the luxury of the rooms were far and above what we expected.You could almost roll out of bed and into the pool! The apartment was always cool and and beautifully cleaned, and every detail really happily taken care of by the staff. Breakfast was delicous and had great variety with staff always encouraging us to order more! We ordered room service for lunch a couple of times and I can especially recommend the No 9 pizza! What really made our time at the hotel were the friendly staff - they really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were always smiling and cheerful. Thanks for a great time!

The staff were so helpful and friendly, having the bikes ready there to ride into town was perfect and the push to eat more breakfast was great!! Coming in each night to see the bed turned down and pretty flowers everywhere made the evening that more special!

I couldn't fault it.

The pool is amazing. The staff very friendly and willing to organise anything for you. There are bikes to use and the resort has a private spot with staff on the beach with lounges, however, there is no food or drinks by the resort there.

If you get a room on the eastern side of the complex, your patio and lounge will be in the shade all day. The resort is quite a way from the beach and the road is quite rough and dusty, however when you are there you don't notice it as it is very quiet. The breakfast in the resort isn't very exciting and we were surprised to see that most of the crockery had chips in it. There wasn't any hot water on our first night which was a bit of a nuisance, and when it was fixed (with many apologies), there was barely any pressure, but maybe that's what it is like. There is only a sheet on the bed, so with the aircon on (which you needed), we were very cold.

Excellent resort, large well equipped rooms, great pool. Staff and management very eager to please, well run. Would defenitly stay there again!!

Luce d'alma resort is a wonderfull hotel. The staff is really friendly and willing to help with al kinds of questions. The rooms are spatious, beautiful with direct access to the pool. The hotel provides free bikes. Although we read that the beach was quitte far away from the hotel, we do not agree. It takes 5 minutes and its really easy.

A little oasis on a great island. Very fresh and clean resort, great pool, excellent staff. Within a few minutes bike ride or 10 minutes walk, you're at the main "strip", if you want to go out. The hotel itself is located in a quiete spot, so if you really want to enjoy, chill and kick back without being disturbed, go here. Above all, the owners have achieved to create a wonderful and soothing authentic vibe. We were very sad to leave after 4 nights... Highly recommended!!

it's a great spot on a hidden part of the island. yes, there is a bit of a bike ride to get to the beach. yes, it is at the northern end and quieter than the party parts. yes, it is has a beautiful but very public pocl. breakfast was great and the bikes were fine. it is a luxury hotel for backpackers if one ever existed. and way less expensive than something comparable in bali. prima donnas wanting the shangri la or st regis should go there not complain about a great hotel that isn't quite that standard.

nothing really. sure the beds were a bit hard. but the ambiance and the quaint bike ride weren't a real hassle.

This Hotel was very nice and clean and the staff so helpfull and nice. Very relaxing getting back to from touring the Island.

Nothing not to like about it

The rooms are really spacious, the pool of 80m is huge and the staff is very friendly. The location is ~500m from the beach but with the free bicycles you can get everywhere.

The surrounding/ parc of the hotel is not done, dinner in the restaurant is very basic and far too expensive for it.

Huge and comfortable room and nice pool.

beach and street with bars are 7 min by bicekle (hotell gives for free) or 15 min by foot. By roads your will see poore houses lokal people and lott of mess. The price is to hight.Your can found small bungalo near the beach.

I really liked how clean the resort was and how this was maintained on a daily basis. The staff were all very polite and friendly. Breakfast included is good.

The wifi was not working at the time.

Gili t is island paradise, simple pleasures on turquoise waters? We loved the huge bedroom, bathroom and living room with deck access straight into the pool. Recommend requesting either of the two rooms at the end of pool (near water feature) for more privacy. Breakfast could also be delivered to your room as part of the inclusion which was great, although no dining table in room just lounge w coffee table. The restaurant and bar was a lovely space. The staff were very friendly and always accommodating! Gardens beautifully kept. The quiet location away from hustle of town was nice, also being inside the island we could easily access beaches from any direction. Push bikes were included and also having the private beach beds was a bonus in a good snorkeling spot.

Friendly feedback - Needed a small table on pool deck for drinks, would like some more plants on deck near screens for more privacy. IPod docking station would also be a bonus. More comprehensive information on dining recomendations would have been helpful, also a better map with swimming and snorkeling locations, tide time info also would be good.

Luce d-Alma is very beautiful place to stay just 2minutes by bicycle (which is available for free 24hours from Hotel) from private beach. Clean, lovely rooms, always smiling local people working there and lovely swimming pool just one step from the terrace of the room. Tasty food in Hotel Restaurant.

Everything was nice!

The accommodation and pool area are stunning.

The location. It's a 10 min bike ride from the beach, which is bad enough during the day with all of the pot holes, but at night with no light this is less than ideal especially as there are no bars/restaurants close by and the in-dining evening meal at Luce d'alma is extremely basic.
