You gave us a late checkout, thank you

Room was filthy, there were sweet papers left under the television table and lots of dirt under the bed when looking for my slippers. We checked in as a couple and there was only 1 bath robe, we had to fight with reception to get another, they wanted us to pay. What hotel gives 1 robe for a double room, especially when we check in as a couple. The manager finally arrived with housekeeping! But still forget the towels, 2 hours later!! Will never stay there again no recommend, and I work in luxurious hotels!! Breakfast is a disaster and the omeltee chef needs training, and am still waiting for the coffee that never arrived.

Some of receptionists are not friendly

First time in my life in 5 star hotel that during breakfast the espresso coffee was charged to the room. i think this hotel should not be on the 5 star hotel list it should be 3star only.

This hotel is not 5 or 4 stars. It's 3.5 maximum. It's too old and poorly equiped with iron and board and other. The location is very good but too noisy with traffice and smog.

It is clean, location is good but not now , as there is alot of construction around.

The staff is not helpful when I told her , I will check out earlier , she asked me to do change it through booking.com , which is not right . no body will charge you money if you do not stay . hard to convince her , they kept me waiting till next day to find the reasonable answer .

The hotel was within easy commuting distance to friends and shopping malls (Ambasador Mall, Pacific Place, Grand Indonesia etc). Restaurant had a large food selection for breakfast (European/American/Asian style all available). Gym facilities were ok and they offered various fitness classes. The room was large and cleaning staff did a great job every day. Hotel has various free WiFi spots around the hotel (restaurants and lobby).

Reception staff could be a bit more helpful and courteous. Each day our room card would be blocked forcing us to approach reception to have it unblocked. It wasn't until the fifth day after questioning that bordered on an inquisition did they bother to explain it was blocked because they were only taking the minimum deposit from us! I requested they deduct from my credit card the entire amount for the stay so that we didn't have to keep getting the card unblocked each day.

Manhattan's website is very user friendly. Instructions were easy to follow. The room (room #2912) we stayed in was very nice. Staff were friendly. They are ready to assist. Thank you very much to that young boy who cleans the rooms. He let us borrow the iron and ironing board.

This is not a complain but a suggestion. 1) Add one or two more staff at the reception counter. One person is not enough especially if there are two or more customers coming at a time. 2) On food, add some more fish during breakfast. 3) The waffles are a bit too hard. 4) Can transfer the roti cooking near to the one cooking the eggs. 5) Let the staff clean the floor immediately when foods were thrown or scattered by a child or children. 6) Because of the ongoing road improvement infront of the hotel making it difficult to reach the hotel on time. There is always a traffic jam.

Hotel location is good but due to road upgrading causing heavy traffic. But come to think of it, this is the one worst accpect of Jakarta, traffic jams.

Room key not working all the time. Roadworks causing traffic chaos and dirty pollution.
