The views The rooms The location

Staff not very good at what they do Restaurants overpriced and food very average - with the venues, it could have been so good, but they had failed... Spa was ok, but was lacking as well didn't quite get there

    beautifull nature, breathtaking location

we chose room based on picture ricefield, and we asked silent room we got noisy room when we complained, we were told we would get room with side view on rice field, we got room at tennis field. we arrived from westin nusadua. I missed the perfect service and smile we had there. in maya core staff restaurant is good, but others have to learn . getting smile from gardner was hard, sometimes confusion, i think staff asked 3 times about price we paid for paintings. Again, fantastic location, but for this price, we expected westin quality

Maya Ubud is a little slice of heaven! It has to be seen to be believed. Absolutely amazing and we would return in a heartbeat!

The bed was a bit firm for our liking and if the private plunge pool would of been heated it would of been perfect

Beautiful location, nice set up. Excellent food.

Swimming pools too cold to swim in. Would expect the hotel to find a solution for this. Not really a hotel to bring kiids. More a hotel for honeymooners or couples

staff were friendly food was excellent

English wasn't easily understood Lack of decision making amongst reception staff - depending on who you spoke to concrete drill all day outside my villa - for 2 days - with no warning - and no apology when i bought it up

The atmosphere of the hotel, amazing garden, really quiet.

Everything was charged as an extra (and very expensive). That offer hourly taxi from and to the hotel/ubud central, but only until 5pm (when the heat comes down and the town gets alive).

Breakfast. Nature- location Cooking class Pools-view Driver and pick up from airport

Incompetence on front desk- problems booking day trips. Lack of communication meant we missed out on a trip we really wanted to do. Expensive dinner- need more range of dining options. Spa was also very expensive

Nature Walk is a great, that itself gives you an opportunity to see around great nature of Ubud. Pool by the hill is also another cool thing for this resort.

Private pool was a little bit dirty, it's not necessary to have a villa with a private pool.

Clean and well decorated bedroom. Excellent service from courteous staff.

Had to wait an hour to get a room when we checked in. Need to add more food choices at the breakfast buffet.

Facilities inside the hotel is superb. Hotel is surrounded by stunning view that hardly found somewhere else. Services and staff are also excellent.

The hotel is not new. The blanket is quite old.

Wonderful resort, comprehensive facilities and very helpful staff. The resort is on the side of a river valley so lots of plants, felt like in a jungle, peaceful. The only thing is there are a bit more bugs and lizzards, but guess this is not avoidable if you want to enjoy the natural settings closely. Overall I had a great time there. Oh, would suggest the private pool to be a bit more cleaned up. I ended up using the public swimming pools (which are fantastic, one on the edge of the valley, another by riverside. But anyway private pools are a bit small to swim in, probably just to dip in the water if lazy to leave the villa.)

The day spa pavilions and treatments were lovely; the rainforest pool was in a nice setting; the resort overall was quiet and not crowded.

Jacuzzi jets in the rainforest pool are not working so there is no outdoor spa facility; more lighting for the outdoor shower would be helpful; the hot tubs and toilet plumbing were not great and leaked a bit; food a little pricey and tempenyaki show quite noisy for diners.

Beautiful landscape , the facilities are well maintened . Very quiet and natural 。

It is expensive hotel ,We did not feel the money worth , specially traveling with 2 young kids . There are no activities for the kids. The pool size is quite small in the villa compare with the others villa that we stayed.
