Location is ideal as it is walking distance to the shopping centre. There was free wi fi as well. Breakfast is good. Pool area is pleasant. This room was booked at $usd 990.00. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we had to pay in Indonesian currency at the exchanged rate suggested by the hotel. As a result, it ended costing more than $usd 990.00. It cost us by almost $usd 100.00 more. If I had known this earlier, I would have booked with someone else where there is better transparency of the actual cost of accommodation. There was not food menu for the pool area. Our tea coffee sachets in room were not replenished as well as soap.

The room was very clean and very comfortable. Good beach access, its a small and peaceful hotel. The staff were ready to please at all times. If you were not wearing a arm band (all inclusive) then we felt you were not completely catered for in the food and beverage department. I must say that breakfast was not really that good as compared to other hotels we have stayed in at Nusa Dua. The swimming pool was too shaded, not enough sun lounges and really was not big enough. Having stayed in four other hotels in the same area we were disappointed with this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Melia Benoa very much. It is such value for money. The food is of high quality and relatively cheap (besides wine - just as everywhere else on Bali). The location is very good directly on the best part of the beach in Benoa and very close to Nusa Dua. The beach walk is great. We highly recommend this hotel and advise to pay the extra money for garden view if you intend to use the balcony, it's worth it. The staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is very recommendable for people with children. Our 1 year old enjoyed the kids club room very much. The pool is child friendly and the hotel is on the beach which no road in between.

The whole mood of the hotel was very relaxing and has a great spacious modern layout in the rooms and the hotel grounds. It was a joy to just sit and drink coffee in the reception bar area with my partner and chill. The staff where exceptionally helpful and polite and a credit to the hotel aswell.

We had an executive room which was huge and overlooked the pool. We booked a B&B rate as we like to have flexibility of where we dine, however I would have liked the opportunity to purchase a "snack" at the pool, instead we would use the small beachside restaurant about 100 metres from the hotel.

I liked the gracious, calm atmosphere of the hotel. Lovely design. I had a beautifful view from my bedroom balcony so it was a pleasure to wake early in the morning and watch the dawn. Great friendly service. Very good buffet breakfast.

The location, the quiet and reaxed atmosphere and that there were activities provided by the hotel to take art in if you wished, eg table tennis, aqua jogging in the pool, darts etc. Also the theme nights at dinner.

They upgraded my room (but the facility wasn't good). They cook breakfast for you (only egg dishes). Staff were nice. Saw a cockroach crawling out of my fruit dish when I came back to my table. Toilet seat cracked - needs to be replaced. No view from my balcony (miserable). The sink was clogged and needs to be repaired. As a 5-star hotel, these are unacceptable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the one who showed meto my room and the reception staff. The hotel seemed a bit tired as if it needed a revamp. It was fairly isolated so you had to eat at the hotel, which didn't seem to cater for people who didn't have the all inclusive package. It was ok but I'm not in a hurry to go back.

The room is bright, nice, clean and big as well as its bathroom. It has a private beach and a nice pool. We decided to extend two more nights there. We were having great time staying at melia. Probably they should give more choices on the breakfast buffet menu, so everyday can find different choice of food to eat.

Our stay at the Melia Benoa was wonderful. Excellent service and excellent standard in our room. Staff was friendly and helpful at all time. The breakfast buffé had alot to offer and was of a very high standard. The hotel had alot of different activities to offer such as cooking demonstration, painting class and fruit carving. If you´re intressted in wateractivities there´s alot for you to do, other than that this is a laydback area, great if you just want to kick back and relax.

Good location and friendly staffs, various offers of breakfast, clean garden & pool, nice & clean beach, lobby design is very nice and quiet - room (floor) was not clean on arrival - facilities, especially the bathroom partly very old and not repairable, very noisy and old sanitary installation (though 5x repaired!!). Even our room was at the 3rd floor we had rats at balcony and probably because of noisy we had mouses in the room as well - not enough dishes available for breakfast so we had always wait for clean spoons, knife etc. - towels were sometimes missing or delivered too late to the room - kids club was very dirty (the floor and the toys)

Me and my wife booked this hotel in hope to find serenity, relax and quite vacation. I can say that this hotel provide us exactly that. The peace and relax atmosphere of this facility certainly come to our expectation. The only downside we found during our stay was the flies in the Patio Restaurant. We were hoping to enjoy a relax morning breakfast, but the flies annoyed us so much that we opted to have breakfast indoor. The next morning it happened again. We complained to one of the servant. They immediately dealt with the problem, but if only if they had realized this sooner.

We liked the stay at Melia Benoa Hotel a lot. They upgraded us to a Executive Junior Suite which was very spacious. Great Breakfast. Very friendly staff. Good activities (football, volleyball at the beach). Very nice pool and beach. Nusa Dua is quiet. There is plenty of restaurants about 2min drive from the restaurant (Taxi about USD 1.-). At low tide the sea will "disapear" and swimming is not possible. Would definately stay at this resort again
