Mutiara Bali Boutique Resort & Villa    

I am probably used to a little more luxury but really it is a nice friendly little hotel in a very good location. The rooms are very spacious and the bed was huge and very comfortable.I feel it is a little tired and the rooms need freshening up with some paint, something white to brighten them up, they are a bit dark inside. The white linen was nice. The day spa is very nice and clean at Mutiara and all the treatments we had were lovely.

Breakfast was awful.

Great service personel, quick feedback by email, pick up service, great rooms, nice pool, great locations. A la card food is ok, good price.

Breakfast is not the greatest. But it s included in the price, so...

Overall is nice. friendly staffs, nice room and clean.

A bit over priced, breakfast is so so. you will expect more buffet breakfast for that price.

The private villa was great. Staff very friendly. Hotel was a little quiet - but we were fine with that.

Nothing really not to like about the hotel - it was more the area of Seminyak. Lots of good restaurants and lots of shops - but the condition of the main street of Seminyak was generally disappointing. Busy traffic, poor footpaths - but I guess that's what you get in Bali. Was expecting a little more from Seminyak though.

Good value for money (by Bali standards), good location, nice comfortable rooms, staff helpful and attentive, pool pretty good. To expand on a few points above: I REALLY don't think Bali is the sort of place you need to worry about a hotel being in a good location. As long as you are away from the scum of Kuta, its all good. Mostly because everything is spread out so even if you think your hotel is in the best spot one day, the next day when you want to go somewhere else, you will still have to find transport or walk a long way. Having said that, the location of this hotel in Seminyak is good because it is just off the main roads so is quiet but still easy to get out and find something to eat or somewhere to go shop etc. The pool area was good but not great - large pool with nice garden and fine for a short swim everyday like I did. If you plan on spending every day all day by the pool, you might get bored of it. It was nice getting breakfast out by the pool (costs extra). The breakfasts were more than adequate but nothing lavish if that is what you want. The staff were very nice and helpful when we needed it (fluent English). I recommend this place for people who do not just want to sit around a hotel all day long - for people who will spend most of their day out and about and who really just need a good, safe, friendly, easy to find and comfortable place to sleep and eat breakfast (and go for a quick swim here and there).

One morning at around 430am, a group of people came back to the hotel drunk and decided to jump around the pool for an hour and be noisy. Was annoying but not the hotels fault and only happened one night. In the morning children got up early (6-7am) and played around in the pool too.. because of both of these things I would recommend you pick a room AWAY from the pool.

Staff were very friendly and nothing was an effort. Rooms were modern, clean with natural light. Nice swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Excellent spa where you can have massage, facial etc. very inexpensive. Great menu and room service. Walking distance to shops, beach. Great value for money, highly recommend.

The booking process was confusing. On booking.com the bedding options were for "2 Single, 2 Large Double" - but when we confirmed directly with the hotel they said that we were given "2 king beds". This was unacceptable as we were travelling with a group of friends. We had to pay an extra 200,000 rupiahs per night for an extra bed!

Location, service and facilities were all good! Would definitely stay again.

I loved the villa with private pool, it had everything that we needed.

The building works across from the hotel. However, construction is happening all over Bali. The villa was very private so it didn't bother us too much, we switched off to it.

A very friendly staff! Free airport transport if you stay more than 3 nights. Nice pool inside a quit courtyard in the busy Seminyak

the location was really good! we stayed in a one bedroom villa with private pool which was lovely! very happy with the location and staff will defintatly be returning to bali and Mutiara hotel!

Little used up, but nothing to really complain about. The breakfast - its enough, we could choose, but the poor quality of the food/fruit was really surprising.

Just a perfect Hotel and great location situated just behind the busy shopping streets and 1 minute from Seminyak square. The hotel is confortable, budget friendly and the staff is great. For children the swimmingpool is a true enjoyment as well for the parents. We drove with a scooter the 3 of us through Seminyak and visited everything we needed. Beach 5min drive, Kuta 10min, Beach clubs 5min, supermarket 1min, shopping 1min, Massage 0min "Enjoy"

They could improve the restaurant

The entire staff were lovely and helpful. We stayed in a double deluxe and it was very nice...ours was in the corner so not quite overlooking the pool, but if you wanted privacy while sitting outside your room this was a good room to have. The facilities were good and everything very clean. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. The hotel is located behind restaurants and shops so it is not too far to walk to these. The staff are trustworthy...we left things out in our room and nothing at all was touched which is good peace of mind.

Bathroom smelt a little damp

The staff (front desk, waiters, cleaners...) was very nice, very friendly. The pool is awesome. The room was always clean and very comfortable. We didn't try the Spa. Very quiet hotel, don't expect to have parties there but was perfect for us.

The breakfast was below our expectations. A lot a of breakfast menus but nearly all the same. Except for the Indonesian.

I loved having my own pool. It was spacious and very clean. Lovely large outdoor bathroom!

The food was very poor quality. It needs to improved as the quality and price of the food down the road is far superior to that of the hotel
