Only the sleeping room (not the kitchen or bath room) is air conditioned, and it was ineffective. After an hour and a half of trying to get it to work, we were still sweating in the heat. The staff tried to adjust it. We asked for another room, and were asked to wait until a technician came to look at the AC unit. Eventually he came and did something, but the AC did not work any better. We went to find the manager who had helped us, but she had already gone home for the night. At that point, we were too tired, gave up and did our best sleeping in the hot room. Given the heat and humidity in Bali, having effective AC is a necessity. We would not stay at the Nike Villas again.
A remarkably tranquil retreat in busy, crowded Sunar. Comfortable bed. Full kitchen with a 5 gallon jug of bottled water. Limited menu, but good food; plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The private pool was a delightful treat. Although we checked out of our room midday, they provided us with a shower room prior to our leaving for a late night flight. Much appreciated.
