Het Nirwana Resort Hotel op het eiland Bintan beschikt over een overloopzwembad met zeezicht en een volledig uitgerust wellness- en fitnesscentrum. De kamers kijken uit op het zwembad, de tuin of de zee. Gratis WiFi is beschikbaar. Vanaf Singapore's veerhaven Tanah Merah vaart u met de veerboot in iets minder dan 1 uur naar het Nirwana Resort Hotel. Een tocht per speedboot van de veerhaven Nongsa in Batam naar de veerhaven Bandar Bentan duurt ook 55 minuten. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Bijzondere omgeving en redelijke varieteit aan restaurants. Eeen locatie die prima geschikt is voor een aantal dagen ontspanning. Het nachtelijke geluid op de gangen. Op zich kan het hotel niets doen aan gedrag van bezoekers. Misschien een betere isolatie of tapijt op de gangen.

Het is er goed toeven. De properheid van mijn kamer, voornamelijk de badkamer was niet zo bijster proper.

Excellent facilities all around, everything you can think off is there. Because it was not too busy all was available. Very nice swimming pool, not too deep, towel service. The fitness centre is very well equipped, bowling centre, table tennis, horse riding, golf, all is there for a very reasonable price, or free. Free transport over the area, which is huge. The room was spacious enough, nicely cleaned and the stewards were very kind. Everyone could speak a good word of English. The breakfast was also tremendously well provided with all thinkable there, both Asian as Western. Not a bad word for this excellent resort, but the fitness room, that we used every day, was too warm as people wait for somebody to arrive before starting the air-conditioning. Staring the fitness program at 36 DC is an extra handicap.

Location was excellent for our beach holiday, we stayed for two nights to escape Singapore city. I ain't too much a beach person, so therefore I wouldn't stay there for one week, but I would recommend this as good escape from Singapore.

We liked the location not being far from Singapore so an easy extra to add on a few days We were incredibly disappointed that we could or in fact would not use the beach for relaxing or swimming, because of the oil and other pollution in and out of the water, one of our main reasons for going, and to add to that we could not use the swimming pool for nearly two days because of repairs. Had we known about the pollution problem we definitely would have chosen another place where we could swim in the sea the main reasons for going!!! They say this only happens at this time of the year which we found hard to believe.

The amazing hospitality and warm services of all the staffs around the whole island. Impressive services and I think they were all trained very well of good service in this field of business and services. Cheers to all the Nirwanikans! Keep on smiling..

Swimming pool is not bad. The persons at the ferry ticket desk were helpful. When i asked for the mangrove discovery trip while checking in, the receptionist recommended a private agent for me, which was not approved or recommended by the hotel. But the hotel actually has an officially appointed agent formthe guests, which should be safe; The rooms and facilities were so old; We hardly lost our luggages when we arrived. the overall service level in Bintan is much lower than other popular islands such as Phuket or Bali. The beach was so poor.

Everything very nice, only problem was oil on the beach so we couldn't use the beach for a day but it wasn't their fault . Resort is huge so it needs a lot of keep up , room could be nicer -you can't open the windows as they are locked-but over all is good value for the money.

Bintan Smile, displayed on the staff faces each and every time - lovely people. Location and amenities are great, beach is nice, although make sure you travel outside of monsoon season (Dec - Feb). Then it's quite windy and sea throws lots of debris on the beach, which is daily cleaned up though. Hotel is ageing significantly. Standard rooms are quite depressing. It's clean, but rooms need immediate attention. Service is very helpful, sometimes even too much - which led incorrect person to place wrong reservation for us for Christmas Gala dinner, where we had to wait for extra table for us. Considering all I think it's way overpriced for it's condition 4d3n, 2 pax over Christmas we spent 1500sgd incl all, but we didn't spare cost for food and drinks. Still I think it's way to much for Nirwana Gardens Hotel.

Poor organization viz shuttle services, available resources to guests such as other restaurants, services to town etc--all of which should be part of a intro package for each room. Shuttle announcements while guests wait for shuttles should be better. We missed our shuttles even though we were sitting in the waiting area. We got up twice to ask each bus that came by but none were going to town. And when the right one came, the hotel staff did not announce and we missed it after a half hour wait. This is just one example. Very poor handling of info and services to guests. Will not stay at this resort again ever.

Generally acceptable, hotel staff are nice, good massage service, restaurants are good, a lot of choice. Nice to stay under the shadow of trees on beach A little bit old, bed is too soft

Location very good, the beach was clean and we were almost alone. Swimming pool with sea view is very good. All services are available on site in the lobby. Ideal place to relax, for families with children or people who just wish to lay down on the beach and do nothing. Prices are relatively expensive. All is in Singapore dollar, and need to pay for any service. Value for money is not so satisfying, but I think good value for money could not really be found in Bintan. I guess that's what it takes to be just 45 minutes from Singapore.

short distance during the transfer ( fast ) Nice layout of the property Private beach, quiet Breakfast food taste bad ( bread was hard as rock! ) but great selection and value for money. Room has alot of white ants ! It could be of fogging the property at night. Lunch selection was ok but the pasta taste great!

Very good for night swimming in the pool and relaxing at the private beach. children is bid noisy near my room and in the cafe having breakfast.

Staff was very professional. They were good organized, friendly, competent and efficient. Room was ok, but nothing special and with old furniture. Unfortunately we didnt get one with a balcony, or an upgrade even though we booked for 8 nights. I liked the breakfast, it was a good mix between international and local with a wide variety of choice. Quite a good offer of activities and sports or things to do, major downside of this was the price, always very high and nothing for free. The beach was good, but one could not swim very much in the sea, it had a lot of plants and it was quite disturbing. If you really like swimming than you'd want to go to MayangSari beach. Not enough long chairs or shadow near the sea. Prices at the pool bar were painful. The whole currency management is not user friendly. I booked in USD, the prices are shown everywhere in SGD and the final bill at check out is in IDR! the FX impact in all this is something not to sneer at. To top that there was nowhere an atm to retrieve SGD.There quite some restaurants where you can eat, but quite expensive if you are staying a long period. One that was affordable has not a lot of choice. The staff could do with a better english. They are friendly and understand but they do not reply much or it is quite difficult to understand them.
