Novotel Bali Nusa Dua    

the staffs are friendly. i like the size of the swimming pool. and the bathroom in the room is of good size too. i like the facilities for the children and the staffs taking car of those facilities were very friendly.

the room and its equipment were a bit old. the sleeping area (compare to the bathroom) is small. there are no working place (i know this is a holiday hotel). the water in the swimming pool was not that clean. the taxi/tour desk guy never gave up trying to sell his cars even though i insisted to him a lot of time that i would like to take city taxis.

Excellent staff! We got a room on the ground floor that we were unhappy with, and when we complained, they fixed it the day after without any problems. All the staff were very helpful and did all they could to help. Nice little private beach with a restaurant for the guests. Food there was excellent!

Breakfast was a bit poor, and they could have put some ice under the cheese to stop it from sweating!

The staff stood out as being very happy and friendly and would go out of thier way to help us with anything.

It is our second stay at Novotel Nusa Dua and we have a family suite. As last time we are impressed with the quality of service, from a friendly and efficient check in, immaculate clean rooms, lovely room service, buffet breakfast with plenty to choose from and everyday a different variery of food, the beautiful and well maintained gardens and pool and also the free shuttle to the beach and Bali Collection shopping centre. Hope I did not left anything out, but a great big thankyou to thefriendly staff who make our holiday special.Ps, also loved the water aerobics and sports.

taxi and tour services at hotel are too expensive, at least 2 to 3 times more than outside.

The rooms are very nice and spacious. It has a nice swimmingpool for both older and younger kids. Great kidsclub. Perfect breakfast.

The temperature of the swimmingpool could be a bit colder.

Location Facilities

Room is poorly maintained. We checked in late at 10.30pm. Our first room was smelt and the manager made us check 3-4 other rooms which poorly conditioned as well. Only after we complained very hard, she put extra effort in preparing other room and ensure no bad odor or other problems. We were very exhausted on that day and the hotel treated us like nothing happened. I wouldn't recommend this hotel as service is poor and many rooms are poorly conditioned as well.

Lack of facilities. One buffet restaurant with limited choice of food. One swimming pool with too many noisy kids. Cost of food & massage are much higher than 5min walk down the road.

Very friendly staff that makes you feel at home right away. Very nice pool and a wonderful beach just a short walk away. We stayed in one of the bigger two bedroom appartments and it was excellent. Very good breakfast.

The dinner buffet we had at the hotel was not quite up to the otherwise high standard of the hotel but there are plenty of alternatives near the hotel so it is not a problem.

Good price and fit for more then 3 kids family. Also they have kids center to take care the kids and parents can just make a easy day. The room facilities are good, too.

No beach beside the hotel. Bali collection is not so good for shopping and eatting. It is more like apartment feeling instead of holiday enjoyment.

Good value for money. Good breakfast. Spacious two bedroom suite. Friendly staff. Spa was not all that but was ok. Great kids club to allow moms and dads some privacy and couples activities. Very nice area for relaxation and walking. Recommend The Bay oceanfront area and the Bali Collection for a nice night walk and fine food options.

Frankly, nothing serious. This is a great option for families with young kids. Traffic is a bit of a hassle if you plan to visit other nice areas like Kuta, Seminyak and Jimbarayan, but not a big deal. Use a good guide to plan all your day activities and schedule. Enjoy great Bali :-)

Everything was perfect. For those who want to stay at a calm and very clean beach with all resort facilities, it is a perfect place. My apartment was perfect. Very comfortable. Me, my wife and my son had a good time there.

Accomodation and beach

The hotel should provide fresh fruit juices in the breakfast. Bali produces many kinds of good fruit.

the staff are wonderful. i would recommend the place especially for those with young children. they have a well-staffed play area, child-friendly facilities, and the staff genuinely love children.

1) they need to put a covered walkway to connect all the buildings, hated having to walk around with an umbrella just to go from my room to the hotel restaurant. 2) the dishwashers are not doing their job well. 3) having breakfast is not something that you'll look forward to when you wake up in the morning. food is plainly boring!

The 2 bedroom apartment is big and spacious. Very good for family and can accomodate more than 4 adults and childrens.

Nice large rooms, had 2 teenage girls, and the 2 bedroom 2 bath worked out great. The breakfast buffet was one odd the betters I have had in Asia, tho the outdoor restaurant is warm...but it's Bali, pool was nice, only bad thing is it is not right on the beach...which we knew going in, but opted for the larger size...

Not on the beach

Novotel Bali Nusa Dua is something completely different than Novotel in Europe. This hotel is at best 3 star hotel according to normal standards. Rooms need refurbishing. If you want the AC to work, then it is impossible to sleep, because the AC equipment is fixed to the wall of bedroom from the outside. I booked it because it said they have a private beach. Other hotels are fair enough to tell the true distance to their beaches. I assumed that Novotel, by stating that it has its own private beach, is located at the seaside. Total lie! you have to take shuttle bus to drive to the beach, or walk 10-15 mins. If you want a vacation in Novotel Bali Nusa Dua, do not waste your money and go to Turkey. Very dissapointed and will not recommend it! Value for money very low.

We have a baby and wanted to relax in the hotel. This hotel has a good hospitality for families.
