Breakfast was super meh, especially for a hotel of this size. I've had much better at homestays in Bali. Dinner was actually pretty good, so I'm not sure why breakfast was so bland. I only went to breakfast once during my stay, the rest of my time there I decided I'd rather skip the hotel breakfast, and pay to eat somewhere else. I mentioned them needing to switch out beach/hotel towels...stains are kind of disgusting to me. And switching the pool chair cushions is a must too. The construction was annoying but I got used to it. This hotel totally worked for my short stay in Sanur, especially after another lodging accommodation fell through, but I can't say I'd stay there again. I'd probably do more research and find another place a bit nicer but in the same price range.
The people working at the hotel were awesome. Very friendly and accommodating, super willing to help (even came to my room three times to help me catch a lizard)! The pool area was okay, I didn't care for the pigeons walking about next to the pool. Kinda made it feel nasty. They could use new cushions on the chairs, as lots of theirs are stained. I noticed lots of the beach/pool towels were stained too. The beach club was okay too, especially on days when the tide didn't bring in trash. The room was clean, although they may want to do deep cleans more often...when maintenance came to help me find the lizard, they moved the furniture just a bit and the anount of dirt and grime underneath was off putting. The location was good, with lots of restaurants in walking distance, a grocery store next door, and the beach only a 10 minute walk away.
