Hospitality of all the staff from the garden watering chap to the reception was first class. Facilities and the general ambience of the resort.
Nothing not to like!
Great location in Bali and excellent service from all staff.
Everything was excellent, the staff, our room, the facilities and the gardens are really something. The Padma will be our only place to stay in the future.
Can't think of anything.
We stayed in a room with access to the lagoon pool, nice room, great location although this resort has a lot of children running and playing in the pool, noisy most of the day
Surroundings, gardens and pools.
Excellent Pools amid beautiful gardens Awesome breakfast included refurbished rooms very kid friendly
Staff are so friendly, location is superb and the facilities are bar none, some of the best on the entire island!
Good location for those who don't mind the busy central parts of Bali; Great swimming pool and bar area; Awesome breakfast.
Pricey for what it is, really; Location is not central enough to be central and not isolated enough not to be central; Service wasn't great for how much I paid for it.
The hotel is full of traditional landscape and architecture. Tranquil setting.
The Padma is in a great location to shop, visit the beach & get to everywhere. The pool is fantastic.
The basic rooms are quite small. They are still comfortable but small.
The Hotel was fantastic, staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The two choices of pools was great. The breakfast was really good with great choices and the coffee was great! We were sick for two days of our stay so didn't get to enjoy it as much as we wanted to but we will be back!
Deluxe Chalet rooms were quiet and very good. Breakfasts were great. Pool was great Staff were friendly. Location was convenient
Deluxe Rooms were noisy at times, particulaly early hours of the morning.
Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, selection and quality. Nice Pool and hotel close to public beach. Always bargain the price they will come down in the souvenir shops.
Because the surrounding of the facility are lush with greenery and fish pools located every where, lots of mosquito's at night. We were in a room which required a stairs with a number of steps to get to it. To get to the more classy restaurant, bars with some good music and local mall in Kuta, it is a 25 minute walk from the hotel. The area just outside the hotel is Ok and safe with bars and small souvenir shops, narrow streets so you have to watch out for motor bikes driving by. The WiFi in the room sometimes worked sometimes not, better signal at the lobby. Gym Ok. We planned to play tennis while we were there but courts under renovation. They did arrange another hotel for us to play but took 45-50 minutes by taxi (hotel supplied) to get to the hotel due to heavy traffic in the narrow streets. We could have walked there quicker.
The staff were very friendly. The pool was great. Happy hour at the poolside was good.
The breakfast room was extremely crowded every morning and getting a table was a challenge.
The whole holiday was a lovely experience.
Having to pay for airport pick-up because we hadn't booked direct through the hotel.
The pools and restaurants and the staff
The alcohol and food were quite expensive. Happy hour was not enticing at all.
We loved the serenity and comfort of the resort, despite it being heavily booked during our stay. Easy access to Jalan Padma for cheap clothes, dining and day spa. Great buffet breakfast; we generally spent 1hr 30 mins taking it slowly. If you want to visit Seminyak regularly, the traffic jams are a bit tiresome, but worth it for high end spa's and fabulous up-market dining. The Padma was always a beautiful sanctuary to which to return.
There was some construction work going on when we arrived, so we thought this might spoil our relaxation, but noise was minimal and after a day we stopped noticing any noise...maybe it stopped!
Great location. Fantastic swimming pools and good facilities. However like everyone else, the best part is the breakfast. Like nothing I've ever seen, it's more akin to an expensive buffet restaurant. Good clean room that was of a good size. Some good surf to be had just outside the hotel.
A bit pricey for food and drink by the pool. Not necessarily a negative but do keep in mind that there will be kids all over the place.
Surroundings were beautiful and breakfast was unbelievable. Had a really lovely Balinese massage which I would highly recommend
Not much at all it was great
Beautiful hotel and extremely friendly staff. Amazing pool and good access to ocean.
While there is easy beach access, the beach is public so you need to rent chairs, deal with vendors, etc.if you want to lay out on the beach. This is really typical for the area though. You can just as easily stay on hotel grounds overlooking the beach if you want to avoid all that hassle.
I liked the size of the pool. I loved the gardens and Ballense styling of the property.
The day we arrived there were NO sun lounges near or around the pool. This continued for several days and we noticed that people were using 2 lounges each or left a magazine on lounge for the day but never used the lounges. Also we noticed that many many people came in from other hotels and used the pool and lounges always just grabbing a towel that was left on a lounge or left on the ground. We also sat and watched the security guards and noted that they didn't ask questions as many local families came into the pool areas for the day and used the towels but left again via the back beach area. This was very annoying when we couLd not get a sun lounge because of non resident guests. Your management needs to review security, your towel staff should obtain room numbers and ask people to return towels or charge them.
Pool and standard or room.
Uninviting dinner venue. Preferred the restaurants overlooking the beach at the Legian Beach Hotel and the Mandira.
All staff were extremely friendly. The bed comfy with a wide range of pillows available. Reliable wifi. Great restaurant and amazing buffet breakfast daily.
That hotel transfers weren't included as we booked through booking.com rather than direct through the hotel. Other than that, I really couldn't fault the resort.
Staff were fantastic and hotel catered for all our needs,
The price of the hotel per night is a lot, we had friends staying in other hotels which were clean friendly and very accommodating in great locations too, will be looking around for other options next time!
Great Location. Stunning Gardens. Nice comfy rooms. Friendly staff.
Water in the pool too cold. Air conditioning can't be set to a higher temperature. We had it off most of the time.
