Prima Cottage  

The staff were friendly, the grounds and the pool was well looked after.Breakfast was lovely as was the eating area overlooking the pool.My boys really enjoyed the pool table which made it a friendly,social area.

Very friendly personnel, small but very nice room, nice pool and amazing Bali style cottages.

Kitchen menu with "The 7 slices sausage" says like it something huge - in reality it's like 1/3 of real sausage ))) But you receive what you pay for. Smell in the bathroom

Staff, location off the main street but close enough and the two rooms that we had 1a and 1b had a kitchen and common area that was fantastic for the family to have some quiet time away from everything. Having been on the road for 7 months, they boys really wanted hot dogs and noodles and it was great to be able to offer it to them.

Breakfast was good (pancakes) but we stayed 5 nights in all but the boys were hoping for croissants (1st choice) and baguettes (2nd choice) that were on the menu but they did not have available any morning. Also water with breakfast would have been nice as the boys had the choice of coffee, tea or lime juice. We enjoyed a couple of meals at the restaurant but they once again, did not have the bread product for the sandwiches.

Good location, nice pool, beautiful room, a great place to relax and see Senur.

The internet was very slow

The staff were very friendly and the young man that cleaned the rooms was lovely and friendly and did a very good job.

The communal areas such as pool and restaurant were a little rough looking and the food at the restaurant was poor. Breakfast was not enjoyable and the few times we ate here for dinner there was a lack of choice as they had often run out of most things on the menu and what they did have was served sometimes cold and poor quality. The pool also looks a little uninviting. I stayed here with a large number of my family members and all of us got sick with Bali Belly, I've stayed at other hotels in Bali and never been sick but this may just be a coincidence and cannot be blamed on Prima Cottages. During our 10 nights stay we experienced several power cuts, some lasting a while and one lasted the majority of the night which caused a very hot, uncomfortable night without aircon or light to see to our 1 year old baby when she woke during the night due to overheating.

Prima Cottages is ideally located. it is only a block from the shops and restaurants of Jl Danau Tamblingen, but is quiet and pleasant and not too big. Each cottage is placed so that your little garden area is your own. the pool was always clean, and poolside had a choice of shade or sun

The pool, small but nice and clean

Location - With young children and in the intense heat and humidity, the walk to the beach is still quite long. Certainly easier if its just adults or older kids. We had the two bedroom 'villa' but the two rooms are not connected and the entrances are across the big outside area. We can't leave the kids in one room by themselves as we won't be able to hear if they wake in the night. So this two bedroom villa is not suitable for family with young kids. They used too much insecticide in the room to kill the mozzies, potentially very unhealthy or even dangerous to human, again particularly with young kids. Perhaps there is no other way to keep the mozzies away...

Our second stay at Prima Cottages...excellent location close to restaurants and shops, leisurely bike ride to Hardy's and the beach. Very reasonable tariff includes a (basic) breakfast...friendly and accommodating staff, nice pool and landscaped gardens. Excellent value for money.

Close to the beach, good facility, very stylized decoration. The map from reception counter helps a lot.

Did not get any welcome drinks, the service people are bit of dull. Breakfast is really plain, the room is not fresh clean, but bearable.

Some of the male staff were hanging outside our room, I didn't think this was appropriate. And for this reason probably wouldn't stay there again

Really helpful, supportive staff. This is a quiet retreat away from the main Sanur road yet so close to the beach and restaurants.

Close to shops

We stayed in one of the cottages. Couldn't check in until 15:00 Room wasn't ready and mattress protector had sex juice stains in the middle. Asked for it to be replaced. Couldn't connect to the internet no matter how many times I tried and had to sit in the office area to get a connection,(and no there is nothing wrong with my computer. The bathroom smelled like an open sewer, so bad in fact that my wife couldn't go I there without wanting to throw up. The toilet seat was broken. The mosquito net had holes all through it. Big Ones! Poor selection of TV channels and poor reception on those we could get. Breakfast was very average with coffee out of a thermos and the banana pancakes obviously made by someone learning. When I brought all of the above to the attention of front office staff and endeavoured to cancel the rest of our stay they didn't believe me until they checked out the bathroom and then insisted that we pay a full day's cancellation fee. I disputed this and in the end we had to pay a half day. Would I stay again? You've got to be joking. Not at $65 a night. In my opinion it is really only worth about $35 a night.

Staff was excellent and was willing to accomodate to our plans, even if there were sudden changes to them. Efficient in setting up the extra beds without any prompting. There was a fantastic sitting area outside my room for me and my friends to chill out. Excellent laundery services.The civet cat enclosures as well as the parrots added a pastoral touch to the settings.

The breakfast list is pretty bland, with its staple Western cuisine. Also, there was no mushrooms (for the baguette with sauteed mushrooms) for most of the days I was there. I would recommend adding Indonesian (or Balinese) food to the breakfast list, maybe nasi goreng. There are way too may trees around the swimming pool. Consequently, there are many dead leaves and insects (even red ants) inside the pool. And the trees prevent the sun from coming in for tanning.

Good value for money. I got the room upstair which was very clean, spacious and comfortable. There is a large living room. No television and far from the beach, but no problem for us that just stop for one night. Our car can be parked safely even if the capacity is only just two cars. Very close to the main strip and we could enjoy delicious Pizza in Massimo A Ristorante.

Pool good for little children. Villa is comfortable, clean and exclusive for family. Staff is friendly.

Quite a walk to the beach. Phone in room is not working. Air -con is too dry and cause dry throat and blocked nose.

Prima cottage is situated in a quieter part if Sanur.

We had ordered (and got confirmation for) an airport pick-up but nobody was waiting for us. Annoying when arriving late and very jet- lagged. No reason was given and nobody apologized. The breakfast was really not great.

Helpful staff at front desk, clean rooms, pool, and great internet access.

A small and freindly hotel with helpful staff. A non-pretentious hotel where it was easy to relax. The pool and air conditioning in the rooms were very welcome. Good value for money. Free wi-fi in public areas and bedrooms. The veranda by the pool is a great place to hang out.

The frienlyness of all the staff,the clenseness of every where.so quick to help.The driver Saffery was excellent and we felt very safe with him taking us on our trips

The villa we had was good but could do with update in the kitchen

Location was great, the staff were friendly and cooperative and their driver was excellent. The swimming pool was fine.

Bed was a bit hard and the pillows were not good. The restaurant food selection was very limited and show no flair.

Staff were all fantastic and helpfull and honest! The owner is really friendly and helpfull. He took time to come over to our rooms and help us book boat tickets to Nusa Island and chatted with us, thanks dude! Rooms were big and clean. Lovely garden was very wall kept . good security guard, we even played chess with him , very friendly and nice person. Relaxing and peacefull place, close to everything.

I cant really say much bad things about the Prima Cottages , only that the shower had not hot water, but its not a bad thing , with 34c I enjoyed my cold shower!
