Excellent for relaxing Friendly staff Bodyboards for free Nice pool where you can also view fantastic sunset For Bali it is too expensive for F&B and for activities like rent a scooter (Euro 15 per day), and there is nothing around. Pekutatan centre is a 20 min walk away. The beach in front of the hotel is not for swimming, you have to walk 10 - 15 min to find a good place.

Wonderful setting in beautiful landscaped gardens with ocean vews. Small peaceful resort, very relaxed, with the feeling of authentic Bali. Villas were well equipped. Very attentive staff Took longer to travel to and from the airport than we expected - 2 and a half to 3 hours. Traffic on the road to Pekutatan is very busy as it is the main route for trucks to the ferry. Worth it when you get there!

Friendly hotel beachside. Value for money in a pretty part of Bali. The road from South Bali to West Bali has a lot of very slow moving trucks... And is quite dangerous...nothing to do with the resort which was lovely...

A truely lovely resort to chill out. The room was spacious and comfortable with a good size terrace. The quality of the food in the restaurant was very good and the prices reasonable considering the location and the fact there was no other restaurants nearby. I would recommend to others who wish to relax. Not for people who like to party or shop.

- Very friendly staff - it's limited to 18 gazebo's, meaning you don't have a lot of tourists around - sleeping with the sound of the waves, waking up with the birds singing - very eco-friendly, having a variety of tips to save on example warm water: the option to take showers in the garden (which we did as well, very refreshing!) - very good breakfast & meals - offers a wide variety of tours off the beaten tourist pads, but can also offer you custom-made tours if you would like to follow the beaten tourist pads (I advise you to do their own organized tours though!) - Despite you can choose between a golden beach and a black beach, it's not a beach where you can lay down your towel and sunbathe. However, they have a pool where you can do your sunbathing and swimming! - Another thing they can't do anything against: in the nighttime, ants will crawl underneath your door into the bathroom. But after the room has been serviced in the morning, you won't notice anything of that again. It's nature. And with a fantastic bed with mosquito net, you're safe.

Nous sommes restés 5 jours dans cet hotel... Ce fut vraiment parfait... Le superbe parc est aménagé de façon magnifique.. Le personnel de l'hôtel est vraiment charmant serviable et très agréable.. Le petit déjeuner est très bien la piscine très agréable est vraiment bien situé... Nous recommandons cet hôtel vivement!! Le seul petit bémol de cette telle situation géographique.. En effet étant donné le trafic inimaginable à bali cela oblige à faire beaucoup d'heures de voiture pour se rendre aux différents points d'intérêt de l'ile.. Mais si vous êtes courageux et aimez la ballade foncez!!

Wat een prachtig resort! Super gastvrije staf, je voelt je er meteen op je gemak. Zonder dat je het ziet/weet wordt er voor je gezorgd. Gelegen in het rustigste deel van Bali. Pal aan het strand met een forse zee. Op enkele plaatsen kun je er veilig zwemmen/surfen. Met eb valt een groot stuk rotspartij droog: leuk om te verkennen, en de Balinezen komen er relaxen. Geen verkopers op het strand, geen drukte. Een en al rust. Mooie tuin. Veel te doen: surfen, vissen, yoga, massage/spa. Niets moet, alles mag en kan. Restaurant is gezellig, goede kwaliteit, en prima prijsstelling. Gelukkig maar, want je bent wel op dit restaurant aangewezen. Een pareltje op Bali! Het resort ligt vrij ver van de bewoonde wereld. Geen andere restaurants in de buurt.

Mooi, goed verzorgd en zeer rustgevend en tevens afgelegen. Men had iets beter kunnen waarschuwing voor het uitroken van het ongedierte (en gasten enigszins daardoor). Erg gastvrij en vriendelijk personeel op de restaurantmedewerker (chef) na. Mag zeker meer lachen en vriendelijk zijn.

Das Hotel war wirklich sehr nett, die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles Andere war wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Die Leute im Hotel sind ohne jegliche Ausnahme sehr nett! Das Hotel liegt abgelegen und ist eher nicht geeignet, wenn man abends noch etwas unternehmen möchte. Für Surfer und Personen, die einmal richtig relaxen möchten sicherlich der perfekte Ort, die Aussicht und Sonnenuntergänge sind atemberaubend. Will man im Meer schwimmen gehen ist dies eher ungeeignet, mit größeren Kindern und für gute Schwimmer aber sicherlich auch kein Problem. Würden dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen und wieder wählen!

Very comfortable, excellent and helpful staff, free shuttle to Medewi for surfers was brilliant, even loaded our boards on the roof and picked us up at the end of the session. Food very good and clean kitchen with great chefs. Nothing bad to say about the hotel However the locals on the main break at Medewi need to have a word with themselves, they hog every wave and make sure you don't get a look in. Really quite galling when visitors spend so much money and time travelling thousands of miles. They don't appreciate that we boost the local economy, the least they could do is let you surf hassle free. Try the beach break on the other side of the estuary early am before the wind picks up, deserted and good for longboard Avoid mai melai restaurant at the top of the road down to Medewi, rat infested and rancid food.

Location is very special, beautiful views, dinner at the seaside, lovely pool, nice beach and,...good waves! Rooms are spacious and the set up is good with a lot of privacy. The hammocks are a great feature. As soon as you arrive they seem to charge you for almost everything, worse they charge you in Euro's and if possible they also prefer the European prices above the Balinese (Extra bed 28 euro, breakfast for children under 4 9 euro, surflesson 29 euro etc). There also seems to be less staff compare to other places we stayed in. Guess the French owner is looking for a quick return on investment. A shame because we really enjoyed our stay, but the attitude towards pricing made us feeling rather uncomfortable.
