Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,

Its got some lovely attractions and sights. Its peaceful and quiet without being too remote. Spending time amongst the people here gives you a sense of what life in Bali is really like and not just what they put on for tourists.

Last time I came to Bali, I only stayed in Ubud. Tegalalang is only a short trip away, but it is so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Waterfalls, rice paddies, jungle, friendly locals and you really can experience Bali here. I have never felt more grateful, free and alive. Make sure to rent a moped to get the most out of it!

Far away enough from the city centre to be tranquil and relaxed with plenty of local activities such as the rice terrace and swings, close proximity to temples, waterfalls and volcano without the hustle and bustle of the centre.
we loved campuhan sebatu resort. the staff were amazing and made me and my wife feel like family. the rooms were clean and had amazing views over the jungle. Tuyul does a free morning walk which took us to the waterfall not far from hotel. what a great way to start the day. bread easy over liking the rice fields outstanding. Balinese massages over looking the jungle. I really could go in and on. the region is very spiritual and I must say leaving left a tear in my eye. I hope to be back very soon while travelling around Bali.
The view was one of the best I've seen in Bali!!
The hotel and rooms overlook beautiful green rice terraces. The infinity pool is also great. The rooms have a multimedia system and Netflix which make for a great movie night as well. The location is quite remote and there are hardly any eateries nearby, but that is what makes the place even more serene. Lenon at the hotel was a great host and was very helpful and helped arrange a tour of the nearby Aloha swing, the rice terraces and coffee plantation.
Suarapura located in a secluded area of Sebatu Village. It's the place to escape from the outside world. The sorrounding nature will make you feel peace.
The view from the room is amazing. It's a nature show. You can see the valley, jungle, & rice terraces as a background. At the same time, the birds flies and others animals making noise. Try to enjoy it with a cup of coffee to make you feel relax.
Rccomended hotel at Tegallalang area.
very atmospheric and cute place! the owners were very kind and attentive) peace and tranquility, very clean! Of course, there are sounds of geckos here (as in the 5 villas where I stayed before) and this is normal for Bali! people who complain about geckos apparently don’t understand where they have come, this is an island and the wildlife is part of it) I will definitely return to this place again!
The property was very well located - 15 mins away from the main Ubud Market with a free shuttle to get you there. You could enjoy the calm and serenity of the property, all while basking in the hustle and bustle of the Ubud Palace.
The staff was really kind and accommodated all our requests. We really enjoyed the pool in our villas and made the most of it!
Don't miss the pancakes at breakfast!
The resort's attention to detail is impeccable, from the elegant architecture seamlessly integrated into the landscape to the warm and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The villas are exquisitely designed, combining traditional Balinese charm with modern comforts. I especially enjoyed waking up to the sound of birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves outside my window.
Excellent hotel. Love the calmness and ambiance. Bali has been our annual vacation preference for years, however this is the first time we decided to stay in the Ubud area. We wanted to experience staying in a villa with forest and rice terrace view. This resort is just amazing. Villa is clean, staffs are sincerely friendly, good food, a nice place for a relaxing vacation.
AMAZING guest house
1. Crazy nice view over a valley, green forest, pool, garden & gamelan instrumental/ music hall :-)
2. Lovely Balinese family with many artists (dancers, musicians)
3. Cheap bicycle rental
4. Serenity and sense of sanctity in this beautiful and quiet place of the island ✨️
Thank you dear Wayan, Made and Ngyoman ^^ Will take my family next time!
It’s a beautiful resort if you want to calm down and enjoy the wonderful nature of Bali. Everything was very nice here. The stuff is awesome and very helpful with everything. We stayed here for 11 nights and it didn’t get boring for us because we rent a scooter and did a lot of day trips. Alternatively you can use the free shuttle to Ubud. The pool is a dream!
it is a quiet boutique resort and unique on its own way if you want to enjoy the calm and to disconnect from the busy Ubud touristic side, also at 4min walk you can visit the most beautiful temple Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu which you barely see tourists there and mainly locals, the staff are the best and always making feel welcomed.
Surprisingly, hotel location is strategic enough. Close to Jasan Waterfall, rice terrace in Sebatu (better than Tegalalang since it's become very commercials now) and some area of Holy water. Next time, I will stay longer to be able to join the other activities. Nothing I can describe about this hotel except "AWESOME!!!"
Aksari Resort in Ubud offers breathtaking views and delicious food. The scenery is stunning, with lush hillsides providing a picturesque backdrop. The food is exceptional, with a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. A perfect choice for a memorable stay in Ubud
This was by far our favorite stay in all of Bali. Beautiful and comfortable villas in the most gorgeous setting. We easily could have spent another two weeks here - one for doing all the tours and exploring, and one just for relaxing at the stunning infinity pool.
Beautiful spot, nice room with a good balcony with a view. It was nice to explore the area around it which has rice terraces and a waterfall which had no tourists. Breakfast is also always a plus.
ideally with a room slipper or bath slipper provided will be best, is cold to step on the tile floor from bed, especly at Ubud , weather is cooling at night.
The spacious room and the view of the sunrise and rice terrace in front of the room. The peace and restful environment is what we enjoyed about the property.
