Everything is good but the bath water seems too salty...

When i reached the airport a free airport shuttle from Rama was there waiting for me. They also allowed me to keep my luggage there after check out up till it was time for me to go back to the airport at 8pm. They gave us a very nice room that exceeded what we expected complete with a clean bathtub as well as a very nice shower that was separate. It was also pretty convenient to arrange for the island tour and trips with the tour desk at the front. The pool was pretty nice although it is deep at 2.40 metres for most part of the pool.

It is actually quite a distance to walk from the hotel to the tourist part of the beach. However, note that a taxi there going by the meter should be about 7000 rupiahs which is less then 1 USD. Just don't let the taxi try to bargain and charge you more. The water is actually pretty salty from the tap and showers but i am not sure whether this is the case in all of Bali anyway. Also, with regards to the tour desk, you must make sure that you make everything clear when you book the tour. Grab the brochures at the airport and use them as a basis to bargain the price with the tour desk. She basically tried to charge me about 15% more of everything but was able to cut down the prices to the brochure prices. However, for the land tour, please note other charges such as entrance fees, tips, tour guide and food charges. I won't really consider that a problem of the hotel as overall, all of Bali tries to overcharge you and you have to bargain every single price.

I didnt like that you had to get your own way there and the prices where abit over the top it wouldnt be so bad if there wasnt tax on everything

We were very happy with Rama Beach Resort. It was value for money. Tranquil and lush gardens were an oasis after a hard day's shopping. We given an upgrade to a garden villa. The hospitality, facilities, food, cleanliness, great staff and beautiful pool added to a memorable stay. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach; there are small supermarkets nearby and a 5 minute walk to a Commonwealth cashpoint. The style is traditional Balinese, which is what we wanted. We can have modern in any hotel in Australia. It is walking distance to Waterbom Park, Discovery Centre and Kuta Square. Trips are organised from the hotel at a reasonable price. The chefs are excellent - would recommend ribs, chicken curry and deserts. There are other hotels that offer more facilities for younger kids but as we were out most of the day, we wouldn't have used them anyway. Will definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The room was nice and comfortable, the staff really excellent, kind and ready to help. The breakfast is good and the swimming pool with garden were beautiful. Quiet position, would recommend if you stay in kuta and want comfort out of the chaos.

Internet connection is deadly expansive and the quality is really poor! Four times per hour compared than the average you can find outside the hotel with better connection facilities. The beach is 200mt away. The security at the gate a bit too pushy in asking where do you go or where have you been!

The swimming pool was great, the staff were very helpful, they stored our luggage for us whilst we went on a trip to the islands.

We were going to eat in the restaurant by the pool which looked like a nice setting but they had some musicians playing and the singing was not good and we didn't fel we could sit through that for a meal. I had previously stayed in Seminyak and actualy found that the hotels and restaurants around the Rama hotel had more expensive drinks than in Seminyak and the restaurants were not nearly as nice.

Fantastic hotel and and amazing value for money. On arrival we were upgraded to a Garden Villa which was wonderful. Service was first rate and far better than some 5* hotels I have stayed in. Highly recommended for both short or long stays.

I love Rama beach resort we even extended our stay with them we got an upgrade for free the staff are so friendly and I felt right at home.

I loved walking through the foyer after a busy day and feeling as if I had just entered my own private paradise, the staff are always welcoming the pool was superb and the rooms were spotless, it was hard to leave.

The food was amazing! Very lovely human beings who Seemed truly interested in what you had to say! Fantastic comfortable sun loungers! However was fairly expensive
