Ramayana Resort and Spa  

Staff very helpful & hotel maintain to high standard. Only one annoying factor was that wi-fi was not included in the cost of the room, and when we pay for a card the strength was poor and slow. Shame the hotel is in kuta as the town is a dump. The paths are in a terrible unsafe state, traffic jams every where, its dirty & pushy sales people bring the place down. Will never return to bali even if I was given a free holiday

Good location. Easy access to hotel, Stadium sports bar and shopping centers. Rooms were well appointed and tidy.

A little noisy for rooms above Stadium sports bar. Renovations to this also a problem at times but not too bad. No Pool bar and Breakfast is basic but satisfactory. Reasonable value for money.

Location to the shopping area.The lovely quiet ambience around the pool areas and within the restaurant.The staff are excellent friendly and very helpful.

Good location, close to many shops & street shopping stalls.

Not really suitable for families with young children as both swimming pools are very deep.

I really enjoyed the Ramayana, the staff so nice and helpful we will stay again..

The staff were very friendly and helpful! Food was very yummy and good prices :) Spa services were amazing!!!

Wifi was not really working ... But the computer lounge was perfectly fine!

The hotel is clean and luxury. The location is good. I love everything here.

Good central location in central Kuta.

Very noisy. One side of their upper grade block of rooms faces on to a noisy street, but worse is the fact that loud music goes on until late in the night. When I asked for a quieter room, they gave me one, but even that suffered from very loud music played poolside all afternoon and into the evening. Mixed review of staff - a few good, but mostly bored and apathetic - typical of a hotel with heavy volume of package tourists.

Beds were too hard, the toilet that was near the pool side bar was a bit smelly.

Relaxing place despite its busy location near the beach. Love the ambient and surroundings with green plants and trees. We are married for 11 years now and still feel in our honeymoon when staying in Ramayana. Breakfast was great. Friendly staff around. Check in and Check out was done in just a minute. Overall great service.

The bed is huge but having the annoying squeaky sound even just to sit on it or move around. Wifi in the room level 6 was not working that day so had to wifi at the lobby. Should have water pipe to wash in toilet (near the toilet seat). Have many channels on tv, but should include axn or Movie Channel like hbo.. Love the fashion tv channel very much though..

The service from staff was second to none from beginning to end. When asked the manager was able to grant us an up-graded room and free afternoon tea. The rooms although a little small for two singles was comfortable, clean and well set-up.

Restricted channels on the T.V. didn't allow us to watch certain sports such as cricket and soccer. The breakfast leaves a little to be desired andthey certainly don't know how to cook bacon.

Chose Ramayana because of our very nice experience staying with our 6 month old boy at end of 2006. Very good, central location near shops & market. Easy walk this time with 5 year old boy. He had very nice relationships with all staff. Room, breakfast area & pool very good. Though the room and bathroom getting bit old, but ok. However price was a special I think so was very good value. Overall the Ramayana is my No. 1 hotel for Bali - we have stayed in 4 or 5 in Kuta and more than that is Sanur.

Floor under bed was not cleaned last Friday on day new mattress installed, probably just overlooked. I mentioned "bit old" but this is not a "dislike" as the value was good.
